Sent from the other side of my Galaxy!
Interesting, I haven't yet seen a (clock) widget displaying a different time than system time...
I can only think of a scenario where time is set as operator time, but time zone isn't set correctly - or at all.
- Have you set your device to operator date/time and also auto (operator) time-zone?
- If time has been defined manually, did you enter your time zone correctly?

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Automatic date and time - checked
Automatic time zone - unchecked
Select time zone - +1,00 Central European Time
Whatever I do, or whatever I set my phone time, same result, widget shows +1 hour ahead of real time.
EDIT: Solved: CLEAR DATA / CACHE for WeatherDeamon (EUR) and Weather Widget + Main apk

Hi,
I disabled TouchFLO 3D on my Diamond for a while, leaving a blank screen, but it seems that below the Today screen is a blank area which leaves a 'screenshot' of the program previously opened. (Like how it looks when a program below your desktop hangs and takes the image of anything above).
It looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
[The icons down there... First is MyMobiler (screen-shot program), and the next is CE-Star, a Chinese/Japanese input program (it's provided with my Diamond)]
Notice how it just takes up the space and the Today screen area is reduced. It does not happen when I activate TouchFLO 3D though (since it stretches to max).
Today Plug-ins I have (not activated)
1. Date
2. Owner Info
3. Windows Live
4. Messaging
5. Tasks
6. Calender
7. Windows Live Search
8. Getting Started
9. RSS Hub
10. Spb Wireless Monitor
11. Device Lock
12. G-Alarm
13. TouchFLO 3D
I'm trying to find a solution without hard-resetting. I've tried soft-resets to no avail. Is it possible to like e.g. only reset the today screen (like resetting Explorer in Windows), etc.? If not I'll just leave TouchFLO 3D on until the next time I hard-reset since I don't always deactivate it.

Has this ever happened to you? It was an accident the first time it happened but, I seem to be able to stack widgets. I start by long pressing on an empty spot on any page, just like you would normally do. Then (have no idea how it happened the first time) before the widget list loads if I quickly flip to the next page where that spot on the screen is already filled, pick my widget, when it loads up, it comes on top of the widget already there. Sometimes it will load behind the one that is there, as was the case the first time it happened, but the next time I rebooted it showed up on top of my calendar. If I move it off of the calendar I can't put it back on, it has to be deleted and stacked in the same manor.
I have to say I really like the feature/bug/whatever. It's a space saver, both widgets are still fully functional and I like the option of being able to save some screen space like in this instance. I can still see my calendar just fine to be honest I don't have a problem with it at all, hope it doesn't go away! I am not really a fan of spreading everything out over 6 or 7 or 12 pages *cough*iphone*cough* and that helps me be able to keep a much better (for me) 3 page set up.
I was mostly curious if anyone else knew about this, and/or maybe if your like me and maybe you'd like to save some real estate it could just be a handy tip!
Hello,

Translating from portuguese to english, in the purple letters, it says "Active".
Do i need to change this status ? If so, how ?
It's probably either WiFi network selection, or the Internet Sharing mode (I slightly doubt the latter, as that shows a bunch of other UI). It might be a special app to add hidden WiFi networks, perhaps?
Also, what phone is this, and what entries in Settings is this "access point" item between (what above it, what below)?
This looks like the Nokia App "Access Point +" and afaiu it is used for selecting network operator profiles.
Access Point is a feature in WP8 that has evolved from WP7 cellular (but just the data connection).
If some1 is using several SIM cards, it is very annoying to set up the phone for Internet and MMS especially if some1 doesn't know all the parameters. So AP+ helps us by saving all the data neccesery for setting up the device. Once another card is in, one simply has to select the network profile he wishes, and boom, the phone is instantly set up.
Also, one may mannualy add MMS and Internet parameters to the phone, and select that profile to use, instead of the default one.
Jordan announce this year 2022 that they will not go for Daylight Saving Time (DST). Accordingly I adjusted the time zone setting in my phone Samsung Galxy A71 to be manual and I select GMT+3. In reality Jordan is at GMT+2. recently I install an application for the following of the sales representatives that must have access to my phone date and time settings, and this application will not work unless the date and time setting is set at automatic mode. When I set automatic date and time setting it goes back to GMT+2 and my phone clock changes.
Other collegues having phones like Techno, Iphone and event Galaxy S20 do not have this issue. They can force the automatic date and time setting to be GMT+3 while they are in Jordan, consequently the application work in their phones.
The android version in my phone is 11. Below you will find a screeshot from my phone software information.
Do you have any suggestion on how I can force the automatic date and time setting to be GMT+3 at the Galxy A71. Thanks in advance for you all.

Such an idea. Install and select the Fake GPS app in developer settings and relocate your location. Turn off automatic time reading and set the time for the Fake GPS zone. Restart your phone, turn on GPS and check on the map if a false position is displayed. Only now turn on your application.
Or use a VPN, which in the scope of services allows you to read the time from the selected time zone.
Got my phone debloated yesterday and started adapting it to my preferences.
I was very happy with the look and widget functionality on my P30 Pro and ideally would like to replicate it.

I am using Nova and an icon pack called 7null, but this is no longer available on the appstore - and can't find it on my phone.
Not a big deal.
The widget showing the time is Zooper which unfortunately is not longer available. I love this widget as it's extremly customisable - I chose to have it connected to my google calender so it always shows the next event. Phone temp not important. Tapping the clock takes me to the alarm, tapping calender opens google calendar.
I tried to transfer the app and downloaded it as APK from the web, but nothing happens when I try to install.
Anyone know if it's possible to install or if there is another widget that has a similar look/funtionality?
The next calender event is number 1 for me. The option on the phone right now just showing the entire calendar month.
thanks!
Reinstalled the Vivo store which enabled me to install the APK - now I just need to figure out how to remove the widget name without losing the app names
try this
go to setting->Home screen,lock screen & wallpaper->home screen settings->icon style,size & name->turn off show icon name
tried that but that removes app names which I need. I just want the widget name gone. Never had widget names displayed on other phones
