Great Gear Apps

I wanted to start a place to let everyone know about really cool software for the gear. Here are two that I really like:
Mini Gallery - Allow you to display the photos local on the phone on the Gear!
WatchStyler - Allows you to create your own watch faces with any picture!
Do you see any more that I may have missed? Let us know!

I had to reboot the watch at first or Mini Gallery would crash. Try rebooting the watch.

Where are you all gettin the app minigallery from i dont see it as a choice on my note 3

Start with "Gear Manager", then select "Samsung Apps", then select "Utilities" You'll find it there.

It was slow the first time, must have to cache the phones locally much faster after that.

Please can someone upload any apks they have or tell of links. I would love mini gallery or even the ebay app..
Obviously i cant connect to the gear store as i dont have a note 3.

But i didn't find any apps in Samsung apps related to gear..
Can someone post apk files for those useful apps.
Or just tell me the way to unlock the Samsung apps to be able to show all apps and not restricted to any country..

i found "Mini Gallery" in the Samsung app on Note 3, download it, got text "show app in GEAR administrator" pressed and found it in "my programs / installed" as Mini Gallery. There is no tool / wheel behind Mini Gallery,here ? as in the other originally Gallery. So nothing to set. I rebooted Note 3 and rebooted also GEAR, but nothing helps, I can still only see, on the GEAR, those 3 images i photographed with the GEAR, no pictures from Note 3 gallery. I need help !!

I just tried a bunch of sound effect apps and these 3 worked for me:
Peanut Gallery (multi sound great layout for the gear)
The real Drama Button (One button Baa baa baa!)
OMG! Button multi sound not so great layout)

You are correct man. I do not know any other apps that are much needed for the gear on the moment.
I hope there will be an app that can display all notifications on the gear incl. whatsapp

Its already in this forums its called ATN Manager and work not just for whatsapp but a lot others

I noticed this randomly also, Not sure what the F in FOTA stands for.. but OTA is over the air.
So make sure your connected to bluetooth, or if your not using bluetooth to disable it in settings.

Got this after installing ATN. Reset watch and haven't installed ATN again since and hasn't come back. Not sure if there is any correlation here.

I got it before installing ATN so I'm guessing it's not because of ATN. I was thinking it has something to do with me rooting the gear but as mentioned above, if you reboot the gear and your phone Bluetooth is on, you don't get the msg.

I had that issue and the only way to fix it was to uninstall the watch style app and reinstall it.

If my time gets stuck I just choose a stock clock then revert back to styler then it's OK

Gear not showing notifications

Hi all,
Just purchased a Gear to go with my S4, it does not seem to be receiving any notifications, email etc.
Can anyone help please, is there a step by step idiots guide out there

Have you installed the gear manager?

1. install gear manager. You can find it on samsung.com or in the samsung apps on your s4
2. try to connect the gear
3. ones connected, look if all the notifications are enabled in gear manager on your s4.
4. If 1-3 is done, and still no notifications, your phone or your gear has a problem. But i think, it will not be the case.

And make sure that your screen is off when the notification comes in or it won't go through to the gear

Do you mean the Mobile phone screen or the Gear screen?

chance someone has the program ATN Mananger and it can make me come.
I have coupled my Gear with a HTC One (with custom firmware).

No use. You still need touchwiz

Samsung Gear
I did it with the Touchwiz probiert.Es go since only the functions as in the Nova launcher.
The contact list, call history, photos and video go.
unfortunately the weather dates is not displayed.
Also there is no way Whatsapp add to it.
I use the custom firmware: Elegancia 19

Watch Styler keeps uninstalling

Anyone else having problems with Watch Styler disappearing?

You need to allow unknown sources in the gear manager.

Yeah. So it apparently has something to do with switching from one gear to another. I have a black and orange one and whenever I switch, watch Styler is deleted. That sucks because it takes the custom faces with it...

Also dont try to swap files using your computer, do it within your phone as this happened to me and drove me nuts

Remove Gear app then reinstall everything...

Anyone found a solution to this?
Switching from my Black to my Orange f**** watch styler keeps disappearing.
