The rom is built with a Camera.. Some gapps replaces the cam .. the one that comes with the rom should work.. It works on my D803 variant.. we'll have to hear more for the other variants an others.

An issue I've noticed (not only on this ROM): screen touches doesn't seem to be detected by games such as Need for Speed Most Wanted during actual races

Same here att n tmo. No lte. If u switch.network mode u at least get hsdpa
Lte works fine for the d803. Didnt have to input anything.

Works for me on both the 28th and 29th. Getting bad battery drain. Gonna flash the stock cm kernel and see if it helps.

I have a Wind Mobile (Canadian D801) G2, is there a way you can use the boot.img file from the phone to make this ROM work by simply replacing it in the main zip.

Maple Syrup's thread is about Android 4.1.X (CM 10.0).... This thread is about Android 4.2.X (CM10.1)..... in plain english its a major update for Android JB 4.1. Introducing some new features.

He just needs to create a new thread. He did what CM did, he started building CM 10.1 releases and stopped developing CM 10 abruptly. His OP is just out of date.
A Mod needs to step into his thread and just state that, IMO.

HOW TO USE THE OTA UPDATER
1.) Open the AOKP OTA in Settings
2.) Select settings
3.) Check the "Install files after ROM" checkbox in order to flash the gapps package
at the time of the ROM flash
3.) Use a file explorer to move your Gapps package to sdcard/aokp.ota/after-rom/ folder so that it will flash at the time of the ROM flash
4.) In AOKP OTA/Settings make sure to uncheck the CMW Recovery checkbox if you are using TWRP Recovery. If you don't, the ROM and gapps will not flash automatically and it will just reboot to recovery and not flash the ROM/Gapps.
5.) Done. Now just enjoy the ease of OTA Updating.

Min Mhz = 189
Max Mhz = 1890
Voltages-
UV'd -50mv across the board
If you're using the built in Kernel settings remember to hit the menu button and enable SET ON BOOT!

I flashed this with CWM 2.6.3 and it's running without a hitch. It's actually pretty nice because the features are so trimmed, there's not a lot of junk. I'm sure soon they'll put back some of their mainstay features.

Nice work. Decided to try this out as I've never had the opportunity to use AOSP. Since it appears to use CM device tree, everything works as I expect it would (even LTE). So far, so good. I'll play with this for a while.
Noticed it's 4.4.2_r2 which is cool

Unfortunately, I'm getting the Google TTS FC in Maps/Navigation regardless of which GApps I use. Kind of a deal breaker for me. I'll experiment some more. Battery life is outstanding however, in 9 hours I lost 2% of my battery and the graph is a straight line across, very impressive.
@CWGSM3VO did you use the gapps from the OP or just download the modular gapps from Paranoid OTA itself. And do a clean flash. And like the other user once booted up to set up screen simply wait 5mins or so until data connects

You do need GAPPS. When you click on the link for the ROM, there is a link for three different GAPPS below it. Have fun! The ROM is great!

Gps works on my end.. Used it this morning just to test.. I always get a lock on whatever rom I'm on 1st then boot, wipe and flash..
Mms works fine as well. I've only been on this today but haven't ran into any issues yet. Nice work!!

Great ROM. How can I Update PRL on this rom?

you cant on AOSP roms....Only can on TW.. YOu have to load a TW rom and update profile and prl than restore you aosp rom. That is the only thing I dont like about AOSP roms.

Another strange thing with this rom. I can receive the SMS but unable to send. Any suggestions how to fix this?
How is the data with 3g and lte switching on this. I see cm has this issue.

Installation:
1. Move Deviant and your gapps to your device sd card
2. Boot into recovery and wipe system/data/cache/dalvik cache/factory reset.
3. flash rom and gapps.
4. if needed flash boot.img.

D800 is avail now .. I need to go to work tho so i prolly wont be here when vs finishes so look for it tomorrow along with ls.. Once i get all devices building ill start updating rom with new features and tweaks..

The ROM is really smooth and fine. Thank you very much. Boots and works great on my d802. The only thing I have discovered is that the move to ART does not work. Bootloops during App Optimization and after some loops, it is booting but again with Dalvik as runtime. Everything else is simply great work. thanks a lot!
