i extracted it from 9.0.D.0.484-INTL-GENERIC and integrated it in relock bootloader ftf for xperia 2012 devices, change extension to sin and you have it
So is it good to flash or??

I`ve installed championswimmer`s unsecure kernel.. so i couldnt update this with pc companion obviously..
though i cant get busybox or su installed due to some adb issues..

download flashtool, look in post seven in this thread and follow instructions, download this ftf, put ftf in flashtool firmware folder, use flashtool to flash it,try re install drivers, you can find those in flashtool driver folder, try to flash unsecure kernel and than su and busybox following instructions in kernel thread
But i already flashed unsecured kernel do I have to do it again after flashing this update?
I had some problems installing fastboot drivers, bit found a workaround here on xda. No matter what I do I can't get dba shell to work.really want to be fully rooted..

yes usually you must flash kernel again, kernel in ftf is not unsecured, it must be replaced, unsecured=root
Holy sh.. So with each update we have to flash kernel and phone is fully reset yet again?!

no, for now you can relock your bootloader and upgrade with pc companion, your data will be untouched, later there will be custom roms, when you have root you can always backup your data and apps with titanium and than restore, for now there is no recovery for v but it will be, in recovery you can make nandroid backup of whole system, what you need now is root and than titanium backup
but if i relock bootloader (how do i do that btw?) and upgrade using pc companion. then the kernel would be replaced and i would have to flash the unsecure kernel to obtain root? hence the phone will be fully reset again.

you got it wrong, flashing kernel does not reset you phone, normal update through pc companion does not it either,for relock: relock ftf attached, you need:
1 change extension from zip to ftf
2 earlier in this thread #5 is attached loader.sin for V, you need to change extension from zip to sin
3 replace loader.sin inside relock.ftf with the one for V
4 flash with flashtool

Not tested (I have no SXV) I had already made the files for relock bootloader SXP, SXU, SX Ion, and they worked.

i wanted the new official 4.3 firmware on my xperia z 6603, so i wanted to try it out.. so i kinda ****ed it up.
after installing the firmware, it stuck at logo screen. so i booted up in recovery, and i see i options called " factory reset". so i thought it would reset the phone normally. but no, still stuck at logoscreen and cant boot up in recovery, my phone cant even be detected on my pc..
so i saw this topic

I did the error too, try via flashtool to flash an older ftf of your choice for your phone in order to get it booting,
if it boots, refers to DooMlord's post > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386405
Flash his old kernel; boot, use his exploit to root, then flash his other kernel; boot,
install the dual recovery by Philz > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2452982
Then reffer to this page > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565850
Flash the flashable file via CMW but don't reboot, just power off and after that use flashtool to flash the stripped ftf.

An FTF file is a FlashToolFormat file, one of the most used file is the Android world
Just search a bit on the forum, I'm sure you will find some ^^

cant really use it. i cant copy it to the sd card. im running 10.3.1.A.2.67. like i said, my pc cant even detect my xperia z,

I mean my first computer just didn't detected my phone once,
I decided to try to use my secondary computer and strangly it worked.

Hi there sir, try re-installing the drivers found in the C:\flashtool\drivers :good:
(flash drivers)
(fastboot drivers)
(adb drivers)
Then restart your pc Sir hope your pc will detect your device now

c:flashtool\drivers there only was a exe file to install drivers to all sony phones, but i picked the flash drivers, that u said i should do when i try to install them i get "install error". i will try to reinstall download and install again..

sony companion is closed, but still it says "install failed"
Do you have tried SUS(Sony Update Service)?
This is fully deodexed rom 10.5.1.A.0.283 for C5502
Requirements:
- rooted 10.5.1.A.0.283 ROM with recovery
Installation:
- reboot to recovery
- flash deodex my ZR 4.4.4.zip
- clear cache and dalvik cache
- reboot

I used kamome tool v6a to deodex .283 firmware and it works just fine

Those of you having trouble while installing CM11 on your xperia v through cwm/twrp and getting status 7 can follow the following guide to fix it!!
first of all unzip your cm 11 folder in your computer
then download flashtool by androxyde made for sony xperia devices..
after installing flashtool connect your device to your computer in fastboot mode : to enter fastboot mode first of all your device should not be connected to the computer then turn off your device and then keep pressing volume up button and connect your mobile through usb to computer. flashtool will detect your device in fastboot mode now.
now click the flash icon in flashtool and select fastboot mode and click ok
then click select kernel to flash at the right side
then a browse menu will open . change the extension to .img from .sin and if it is already .img then there is no need to change in the browse menu.
then navigate to the unzipped cm 11 folder and there will be a boot.img file select it and click open
flashtool will flash it . when it is done remove usb and U MUST OPEN RECOVERY, and flash the cm 11
that's it... u will not receive any status 7 now!!

The official one, tried NeoWave, no kernel can be flashed on the phone i dont know why
There is not Xperia V recovery, the recoveries are for Xperia T thats why I have Status 7
