Anyone else have issue with changing the iso to something besides auto? When I change it to 200 the viewfinder starts lagging but the light level doesn't seem to change.

This is with any camera app BTW.

Anyone?

Camera FV-5 lags and Shot Control doesn't.
Sent from my Moto X.
Just tried shot control. Doesn't look like it actually goes off auto. I changed it to 200 and took a picture and it still had an iso of 1200

Does anyone (including devs) know where to find the files to edit the LED notification light? I find the light to blink too slow for my liking, and I would love to be able to change the flash rate.. I have tried many LED control apps (LightFlow, Blink, etc) but none of them can change the flash rate. I am rooted, and have the ability to flash other ROMs.
Thanks in advance to any replies.

I found the led control files at /sys/devices/platform/leds-cpcap-rgb. All I can change is the brightness of the LEDs.. Thought I was onto something..

Nobody has any ideas? Maybe the led is controlled by the kernel?

What does the Lightflow app control? I have no idea. You could contact the dev of that.

Lightflow controls the led color, led flash speed, sound, and vibration of the phone for customized notifications. I emailed the dev a few hours ago, so if I'm given a solution, I'll share with you guys.

I asked the dev, he said I needed a custom rom with a different driver for the LED. So it can't be a stock (or based on stock) ROM.

That isn't entirely true. I know it works partially.

Yeah, it works, but the flash rate for the LED is what I want to change.

So i changed camera_click.ogg to camera_click.xxx but the shutter still sounds when i take a pic with the ringer up. How is this possible? Is it because linux doesn't use file extensions like windows and i should rename the whole thing? Changing the file ext worked on my samsung.

Just turn the sound off in the camera settings.

Where did you change it at? think its in the camera apk that you need to change
From My TweakedOut ONE
Yeah i learned about that the other day and forgot. Still curious as to where its getting the audio file if you have sound turned on and changed the file ext.

Ever since I switched from the note 2 my Netflix audio has been out of sync with the video, it's driving me crazy. It doesn't matter what wifi network I'm on, or LTE.
Also I can't play play store movies on this phone, just get the 806 error.
I think this is the worst multimedia phone I've ever had (though it might just be my device).

I'm just hoping it needs a software update, love the phone but it definitely is needing a few tweaks

Hey I was wondering if the MOTO X can save the location of photo that is taken by itself, like in the iphones.
Sent from my XT1058 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes there is an option for GPS data to be saved in the camera app menu. It is a slide out from the left of the screen.
