Yeah, that was my first option but it doesn't appear in the market
1. Download apk file from your PC, tranfer it to phone and install it ( use google to search for apk)
or
2.Download market enabler, choose some USA mobile provider for example, open market and look for market.

Hey!
Is it possibleto intall Google Maps without Navigation and Places apps?
You can always kick unwanted system aps using "root app remover". Get it from market.
I understand Google wants to intergrate all their great features in one place but it's kind of stupid we have to install Navigation along with Maps.

That's how Google generate revenue! Why do you think google give away map, navigation, etc free? while other navigation system charges you money.

Hi everyone.i found that there is no market for cm7.i would like to flash the market version two instead of three. Could anyone give me a link to download it? I search many posts and I cannot find any solutions for it.

You install it from recovery, and you will have all the google apps, including Market!

ok, if i just want the market, what i should remove by root explorer? is it only to remove the maps.apk, anything else?
besides, can i flash these files to NOVA v8 to change the new version of market to old market?
moreover, i found that wifi sharing in NOVA v8 do not work at all. does anyone face the same problem?

Some of use, who using custom roms, market don't allow as to download some apps. So we need .apk files to install that apps..

Happened to me too but the only thing I can't download is Maps.

No, for that you need other type of google maps apk. Search the web for hacked/enabled google navigation maps apk, etc.

Did you installed Google now?! It says that it is essential for launcher to work :/
I think I read on the original thread that it is compatible with 4.2 and up only. I'm not sure though

Guys i installed kit kat launcher last night ... it was running ... but now when i reboot my phone and boots-up it says " Google search is not found " but it is installed and works so far ... :crying::crying:
Any help ??
And in the last i have a NexPerience Launcher BETA 4.4 Launcher anybody if want that just pm me or can i put that here for free ?:angel::angel:

do NOT post Paid apps for free in threads. Mods will shut you down.
Launcher worked for me
Install google now n play services also ...both needs to be installed in order to work the launcher

interesting, i use rom 4.2.2 and the launcher works perfect, i have try it with cm10 it didn't worked for me

i use the carbon 4.2.2 it's a verry good looking rom, of course it have the 4.2.2 bugs at to the moment here thy are:
-No Carbon specific bugs as far as i'm aware
---4.2.2 bugs---
IF IVE MISSED SOMETHING LET ME KNOW
- No WiFi
- No Bluetooth
- No ADB
- No Camcorder
- No Native playback
- To get SD working you have to go to developer options, enable then disable debugging and it will reboot with recognized sd card!

I got to install the home and the search, but when I press the home button, nothing happens. I opened the app Google Now Launcher and all it said was that trebuchet was my default launcher. So I went to settings and I didn't even have trebuchet as default.
I had downloaded nova after and when I pressed the home, only nova and trebuchet are showing up...

Same thing happened to me at first when I tried choosing the default home screen. Afyer i exited the home option I went back into it again and the Google Now launcher appeared there then. Awesome launcher!!

Figured it out. I had to install the latest version of Google Play Store and it worked like charm.

Play store or services??
Looks sweet. Love the new launcher. Now how do I get those icons installed? Those zips just have the png files. I've only ever gotten icons from icon packs via an apk.
Ermmm is this the one where the app drawer has a white background? Cause I don't see any changes after installing

Thanks. I went ahead and flashed the zip and it works great. If another ota comes out will I have to do it again or will it stay? If its an apk does it stick with a new ota flash? Thanks.
I think but i'm not sure, if a new ota it's available she upgrade the playstore. The method of the first install isn't important
