[Q] any touchwiz 4.0 for Galaxy Mini ? :D

can TW 4.0 or 4.5 for galaxy mini ?

don't think so bro touchwiz 4 will consume alot and i really mean a lot of memory

i think maybe have some tw hack ?

i wonder if someone can follow the interface and make old touchwiz look like them
is it possible?

No cause the original TW 4 apk needs arm7 to run! maybe someone can port
the look of TW 4 on mini but the original dont run on mini!!

use root explorer
move TW3.5Launcher.apk to system/app
dont delete the old Touchwiz30.apk (if you use stock touchwiz)
then set permission
x x

done restart !!

You can move it but its not necessary to do that! Work with both ways!!

I've install it by moving it to system/app and reboot.
it works well but the 4x4 grid on home screen overlaps the dock bar. is it a known bugs?

I can't really delete all the home screen.
I leave one home screen and add another one.
but it still happened.
is this issue doesn't happened to you?

App not compatible with your device

Hello XDA and fellow Tab2 users,
Play store lets me download and install apps. How ever some apps, when started on mij P5110 tab, give the message 'app not compatible with your device'
Most of the times these apps are games. For example PES12.
Is this an known isseu and is there an workarround for this?
I red something about the compatebility of apps with android 4.03?

Please say on what rom you are, for further help.
whatsapp isnt compatible,too.

European Stock rom ICS 4.03, rooted. (rooted or unrooterd, no different outcome within this issue)
Those apps.. working fine one the previous version of Galaxy Tab 10.1
So I think is has something to do with the version of android 4.03

The different thing with whatsapp is, that play store tells me in advance that its not compatible with my device, so i cant download it. Those other apps i can download and they start. After start up the message appears.

That's odd, because my P5110 device with stock rooted ROM let me install and play PES12.
However I know what you mean. Recently I bought NFL Pro 2012, but right after the installation a pop-up message told me this game wasn't compatible with my device.
I figured that it has something to do with CM9 which my device ran at that moment. I haven't re-installed this game after I went to stock again, but when I do I share my findings.
[EDIT] Still don't manage to install the game. There is a pop-up telling me to request a refund so I will contact the developer.

Maybe its the entry in the build.prop? I think the app doesnt recognize the device as ok, thats because it works on different roms.
Just an idea...

ViperVivo Youtube app

Anybody who has solutions for the Youtube app not working on Vipervivo? Yes, I know Vipervivo has been discontinued but it still is the best sense ROM for Incredible S for me. And no, uninstalling updates on the Youtube app itself didn't seem to work.

Get a YouTube app from another Sense Rom, delete the one on the Vipervivo Rom under /system/app, push the YouTube app from another Ics Rom into Vipervivos /system/app dictionary, change permissions to rw r r and you're done

it it does not work than you installed some s***d mods. full wipe re-install the rom.
p.s. what can I say about vipervivo... it was a great rom I have a great update on it that I am using... but it was banned on xda...

lol dude, just change the name of the rom and remove the viper parts, then upload it.. I don't think it is against the rules.
You are an amazing developer, and Team Venom are illogical. If they were going to ban the only user working on the vivo, at least replace him, not remove support for wvga completely. Such an amazing rom, such a shame for it to go to waste.

No, walkman then look so weird! leave dpi at 160 and change resolution to one step smaller i think is 800x480 or something...

I see many people with concerns about all the permissions apps require. You have to understand that android tries to protect you when you install apps. Unless an app asks for permission it won't be able to do much. It has to ask to be able to read your files, write to save your data, camera to take pictures, Internet to access the outside world. From a developer perspective it can be annoying to make sure you've asked for all of rhe right permissions for your app to run because they can be so granular, which from your side looks like they want to take over your phone.

What is your objection to using xposed? It's a wonderful situation for one-off situations like this, instead of a system-wide forced change.
