my Clocks Icon where Stop/start watch and the Alarm are exist Disappeared from my mobile?why that?anotherthing is there any way to retrun it back?
some1 help
when you say disappeared, do you mean the clock icon from the top bar?(task bar) if so mine also disappears but its still working in the background.
To get to it and the stop watch head into applications and click on clock. If you mean its gone from applications, then i'm not sure why
yeah i mean the second thing that they icon dissapeared from application and i cant find it out, even i tried application from the market for alarm, it works but i want the orginal icon
it sounds like it might have been uninstalled somehow or the launch icon has been removed. I would have thought it would be a system file so i don't know how you managed that.
Does your phone show the time in the top right corner? if so then it must still be installed.
All i can think is maybe you can download the files for the galaxy from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=712594&highlight=galaxy+apk
find the clock app and reinstall it
yes friend the time is shown in the corner...thanks for the folder i downloaded and used the clock app but installion fail dunno why :S...
btw thankis for your help.
I thought that the clock icon on task bar is indicating alarm clock (it appears when an alarm is set). Try to set an alarm time.

I guess it should, but maybe one of those who got their phones already can confirm this.

Yes, it does remove blinkfeed. Tested with apex launcher.
It will still be a background process, will it not? Even though its not visible. Like sense Rosie/prism itself

If you do not delete Prism.apk yes but it won't be active, just an apk doing nothing

Torxx, you wouldn't happen to know a way we can have a alternative launcher running and keep blink feed?
I like it but I want my old Nova Launcher back
Alternatively, If I have to make do (which I expect I will have to lol) How can I change the Icons on the home screen Dock?
Or am I just being as thick as a plank??....
Cheers
To rearrange the dock icons, open the app drawer and then drag the unwanted ones back into drawer. You might need to drag them to where they're supposed to go (i.e. I have my drawer sorted automatically and had to drag the camera to where it'd be in the drawer).
You can only have the 4 apps on there but if you remove any, you're free to put whatever you want in its place.

It would be active, continuously streaming content to its interface on the sense launcher
Best option would be to change launchers and then freeze Sense
Just un-check all the options/feeds leaving blinkfeed blank. This way it fetches nothing. Then run you new launcher.

Thanks for the tip but Ive figured that out. The issue Im having is, If I use a Icon changer, it drops a widget on the home screen that is essentially a shortcut to the app you pick.
Because its a widget, it wont let me move it to the dock at the bottom...
I know I could probably go hinting to try and change the pings manually, I just really cant be bothered as I know It wont be long before I flash another rom.
Any Ideas?
Freeze it in titanium if you don't want it.
First, I dunno if this is the correct subforum since I'm not allowed to post in a modding forum.
The standard clock widget that comes preloaded on the Xperia Z is great, except that it has got too thin text; I can't see the clock in the mornings and it's causing me massive eyestrain to concentrate.
I've tried SEVERAL other clock widgets but either they're not compatible with an easy-to-set-up alarm, takes too much space, or is displaying other stuff than the clock it self + stupid adds.
So what I'm asking here is someone who knows how to edit this widget to have a bold font where it's easy to see the time in the mornings.
It's the specific clock displayed in all xperia Z photos:
I assume, that once the widget has been located as an .apk file it will be super easy to make a bolder font. If no one wants to make this for me, I can do it my self given that I get an explanation.
sorry but i think that needs developing and a developer will not programm a clock only for you unless you will pay him
Try other clock Apps or try a custom rom (but this needs more work)
Sorry dude
I don't want a new widget, I just want the standard pre-loaded widget to have a bold font instead of the current one.
I know that in the installed apps list, this widget is just called "clock", but it's impossible to find this widget as a download anywhere. That's why I figured some guys here could go into the root or something and find the widget, change the font and be done with it.

Ok, some time after reboot if you see a Green Android Icon instead of the Application Icon that mean the app is not yet loaded so my advice is to leave the phone few minutes alone after rebooting to let him load all the stuff. Also I had this issue with my Z1 at the beginning when icons disappear and instead of the App Icon I had a empty space. I update my launcher to newer version and I never saw this problem again. Can be the Launcher it self, try to switch to different one.
May I ask you which rom give you the option to move the apps to SD?

Not Rom gives u that option but u need to install third party apps like ROM Toolbox ,Link2SD,App2sd etc for moving apps to sdcard
I have the same problem. Where is the link located when moving apps to sdcard? I find no link of the app anywhere.
there is the logcat while moving apps to sdcard...
while rebooting, it is saying that metadata is missing.
I think its cm issue, no launcher shows the app
To solve this problem I used SiMi Folder. see this link
Hey all,
I just rooted my Fire, and I'm trying to figure out a way to change the lockscreen wallpaper. I was hoping that I could just find the .jpgs and replace them with the pictures I want, but I haven't been able to find them. Any tips on finding them, or a way to changing it?
i just tried .. the wallpapers are in priv-app/systemui/systemui.apk/res...i edited the apk, changed the images with mines, rebooted fine but with no status bar, navigation and with crashes... so i reverted back to original... maybe use a 3rd party lockscreen or maybe try with an apk editor on pc... but remember to make a backup copy first
