Ive been getting the same warning for the past 4 or 5 days. In fact, it started when i set up Lookout. Dont know if thats the cause though.

I have removed lookout with TI backup. So that at least for me is not the problem.

Yes. Use root uninstaller to uninstall everything called Knox or similar.

There is no fix, especially if you want to stay stock. Samsung really screwed the pooch with the software on the note 3, I just hope they fix it soon

yup this works.

This fixed it on my Note 3. I went to settings, general, security, device administrators. I made KNOX an administrator and haven't had the error message since.

That shouldn't affect it at all. That's for the app that we don't have that every other Note 3 in the world does.

Anybody get Netflix to work? Mine opens then closes instantly
Sent from my LG-P925 using XDA App
Nope - mine does the same. I'd give Netflix a call, let them know about the problem.
there's a few apps that are yet compatible with out device. Chase, Netflx and Tango (ff camera doesn't work) to name a few
this sucks
I hate that they would put the app out there and it wont work even though you can get it straight off the market. Oh well, I guess when gingerbread rolls out we will be able to get it to work hopefully. Supposedly it supposed to come out around a month after release, so lets see if att keeps their word this time, after all they did delay the phone several times and promised it would be soon. I guess soon to them was months because it said on their website coming soon for like three months at least lol
---------- Post added at 03:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:42 AM ----------
For some reason I keep checking every day to see if Netflix is gonna work lol, it never does just pretty much closes almost instantly. I know every time that I open the app its gonna close, oh well it is wishful thinking. I'm still gonna check it every day though lol
---------- Post added at 03:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:46 AM ----------
Is it possible that a build.prop edit could get it to work I wonder?

Just noted that there was a new version of Netflix today. I updated and it is running fine on my stock rooted firmware. Enjoy

The same here, thanks Netflix!
same here, yay.
So Netflix is working, but my capacitive buttons stay lit the whole time I'm watching something. Is this happening to you guys? I tried to install "keep the lights on" but since it didn't work I uninstalled it. Does Netflix keep the lights on or did I do this?
Yea for some reason, my stay lit too

[Q] Virus warning?

As I opened this forum in Firefox - my Avast antivir gave a security warning about some site - apparently relating to malware that was blocked.
Did anybody else get this or similar.
Is anybody keeping an eye on what (advertizers) are up too with thier banners on this site?
This is not anthing of an attack from me but just questions out of the situation that pertained.
Sometimes I'll get that when a member puts an image from a "bad" site in their post or sig.
Hasn't happened to me in a while though

As long as you don't install any weirdo .apk, whether from the market or from the internet (especially from the internet), you're safe. Why? Because everything else than an .apk can't touch/interact with the android system. That's what I heard ^^
Also, I read that there's no "virus" but "only" .apk which send SMS to premium numbers.. Nothing of a virus that can screw up your system, especially without root. With root, yes, I think a bad .apk could screw your system...

As long as you are careful you shouldn't need an AV. I would recommend that you use one just to be safe, but they're not necessary. Mainly I install Avast Anti-theft on my family's devices just so I can keep tabs on them with the GPS tracking feature
It may pertain to ads on the page. I saw a little while back that there was some ad on xda that was giving a malware warning. I use an ad blocker though so I never saw a thing
Nop no block for me too.

Is this it for Chrome?

Does anyone konw if Chromecast will get any more "uses" developed for it? Any more apps or programs going to take advantage of Chromecase?
Once the SDK is finished and published I'll bet development picks up quite a bit.

I was hearing talk of this back before the thing came out, but still, no hulu plus. Man I know this will NEVER happen, but if the verizon NFL app would get on board with this, that we be sick.
If funimation apo would get on board I'd be sold since that's pretty much all I really want one for

Unless I'm mistaken, DIAL protocol wasn't designed to mirror...Miracast and others do this using their protocols.

So apparently you don't understand that:
The SDK isn't finished and Google is slow about it (Android Studio is still alpha quality).
There are more content providers on the way
That people who buy Android/ChromeOS devices that come to XDA do spend money on what you refer to as vague assurances (hence XDA exists).
So I really don't think it is me who does not understand here. Feel free to be a negative Nancy to drive away future Chromecast owners (or even current ones) due to your lack of understanding the issue though.

If you find that a reportable offense, you have bigger issues than a simple post report. Of course, you might want to report yourself as well for calling someone else ignorant. I didn't say you were ignorant, I said your response was. Ninja edit didn't catch it quick enough, friend.

Tablet Talk with Galaxy Gear

Just wondering who has used this for their gear to send text messages?
I know how to side load apps and I have a working keyboard already. Just simply need to know how well it works.
Would love to send text messages without having to use voice from the gear.

Failed_No_Certificate
Hey all! How are you getting Tablet Talk on your Gear? I used Wondershare to backup the app from my phone, and tried to install it on Gear. Wondershare saved the export as a zip so I tried renaming it. Everything looked good when I did, but when I tried to install the APK on my Gear, there was a Failed_No_Certificate error.. TIA
Update: When I backed up from another phone, everything worked fine.. My Note 3 does is not working with Wondershare very well..
The last time I reinstalled I had the same issue. I changed both to wifi and back and then it connected.

Go to "setup" into Gear's TabletTalk and change device type to "tablet".
Hope it helps
During setup it won't allow me to scroll to see the phone for connect. How in the hell do you get down to select?
does anyone know how to get the names to display?
Still hoping someone figures out an issue on how to select your phone when pairing the latest version. Can't scroll down to see your phone. Someone suggested using older version of it I can't for the life of me find a clean older version to even try. If anyone has info on how to get this rolling it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Seems fine to me. The link is for a screen shot of his phone on a respectable site. There are no issues with this link. And has been posted above the issue is quite openly stated. He has a problem with a game.... Any useful suggestions would be welcome.
His wording did not suggest any issues on my mind.
Hopefully someone will be by shortly to assist.
Will probably need someone that has game to verify. Gonna be hard to find someone willing to pay $10 to test it.
