[Q] Screen off and phone awake?

there is a way to turn screen off, but keeping the phone awake.
i have an app that stop work when the screen is off (the accelerometer i suppose)

[Q] S4 Active - Very slow to turn off?

Hi all,
My gf got rid of her S3 yesterday after lots of problems and upgraded to the S4 Active on Voda UK. Great phone so far, but she's having a weird problem where on reboot or shutdown it takes well over 2 minutes to actually power off. The screen goes black as usual, but the notification light pulses blue until it finally vibrates and powers off. It starts up in what seems a normal amount of time.
Has anyone else found this issue or know what it might be?
The phone itself is completely stock and nothing untoward appears to be running in the background which might be blocking the powerdown.

[Q] Turning off LED

Hi,
I'm new to Android and just got a z1. The only thing I don't like about it is the LED.
Is there any way to turn this off completely?

[Q] Can you set the display to never timeout?

I was playing a game today (using a controller so wasn't touching the screen at all) and after a while the screen just turned off by itself. When I went into my menu to set the display to never time out I couldn't find an option like that. Is it possible? I'm running 4.4

[Q] Screen Backlight not working after unlocking with active camera app ?!?

Hi Folks,
i have a strange problem that seemed to have appeared out of nothing.
The HTC One has this nice feature that when certain apps like maps and camera are active and the screen turns off, you don't have to unlock the phone when you turn on the screen again.
This feature is causing problems with my htc stock camera app. Because if i don't close the camera app, but turn off the screen and then turn it on again the display backlight is not kicking in. I can slightly see that the phone is unlocked, but it is so dark that i cannot use it. Only a restart of the phone fixes this problem.
Anyone had this problem before?
Any idea how to solve that problem?
Is there a way to turn this feature off?
i use ViperOne 4.3 rom and Bulletproof Kernel
