i just bought a xperia v yesterday. i already unlocked the bootloader. i was gonna flash cm10.x to it. i entered these commands on the cmd prompt on my sdk folder
- power off the phone:
- hold vol+ and plug usb to boot into fastboot (blu led)
- fastboot flash boot boot.img (from cm10 zip)
- fastboot reboot
after i type the last line. the phone will reboot. but i forgot to install cwm/recovery. and now it won't power on ):. when i charge it it just has a red led light. i hold the power button but nothing happens.
Flash a stock rom or change battery as red light happens with t when battery runs out so try it

I have a big problem.
I foolishly ran Root.exe. From This set:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33018495&postcount=37
But a bootloader had NOT unlocked.
Now the phone is launched only in Fastboot mode: "AP Fastboot flash Mode (secure boot)".
Hanging menu with white blue and yellow at the bottom of the inscriptions.
That's all. Reloads - again this menu.
There is an inscription (in blue):
- Normal Powerup
- Recovery
- Factory
Etc.
Can scroll menu by button VOL-
When i press VOL + writes - "Fastboot menu disabled".
If press the Power, the screen goes out when press Power again - it`s boot - again all in the same Fastboot menu.
It can generally return to functional, normal mode?
I would be very grateful for your advices
When you're in AP Fastboot, try to flash an Retail EU Fastboot with RSD 6.1.4. (Use an Brazil one, when you got an Latam RazR)

1. Unlock the bootloader.
2. Flash a Home-made fastboot.

I unlock the bootloader, but how do I flash the home-made fastboot? The FlashanRoot.bat get stuck on press any key. :C
AW: Plese, help! I brick my RAZR I by root.exe
When you use an JB Homemade and stuck in AP you have to edit the bat and delete the first 2 adb lines (adb push..., adb reboot)
After that start the bat.

I'm using a ICS Home-made. I erase the same two lines?

You need to remove;
adb wait-for-device push RAZRiRoot2.zip /sdcard/RAZRiRoot2.zip
adb reboot bootloader
From the FlashAndRoot.bat file, right click and select edit, this will open the bat file up in notepad. Remove the above lines, connect your razr to your pc by USB in fastboot mode (vol down + power). Double click the .bat file and you should be done, it takes about 20 mins to flash.
Hey guys,
seams like there went something wrong when trying to install latest cynagen Mod to my Xperia T - Now it is blak screen, is not recognized by flashtools or fastboot (so i cannot flash anything else). The LED is also not doing anything at all. The only thing that "works" is if i keep the power button pressed longer for 10 sec, my phone vibrates and shows the Sony logo - nothing else.
What i did: I opened the bootloader (which seemed to work, bootet the device afterwards and everything was ok), then i followed this instruction to install cynagen mod: wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_mint
After Step 5 (Open a terminal on the PC and enter the following:
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
fastboot -i 0xfce reboot
While the device reboots, press the Volume rockers a few times to load recovery. )
the phone was dead. So i think there was something wrong with flashing the boot.img, but i see no way how to "undo" this, becuase of no tool will see my phone on the pc...
I really appreciate any help! Thanks, Simon

Maybe your battery is dead. Keep the power button pressed with a rubber band while it charges (wall charger) for a few hours. Then try to put it in fastboot mode and flash a kernel/boot.img with Flashtools, which is a lot simpler and less prone to typo errors than doing it yourself in a terminal/command line.
Also, you might rather look up tutorials here in XDA instead of on the CM site; they generally tend to be a lot easier to understand and even more practical.
If the phone displays the Sony logo then there's nothing wrong with the battery probably.
Use Flashtool to install a stock FTF is the first thing to do. CM requires an unlocked bootloader, I'm assuming you have a locked bootloader.

Last CM kernels are buggy.
Try with an older kernel, that you can pick from here (our device is MINT): http://fxpblog.co/cyanogenmod/cyanogenmod-11/
Hey there. I'm having a bit of an issue regarding the recovery on my phone. I rooted it quite some time ago but now I'd like to upgrade it to Kitkat 4.4.4 but when I try to enter recovery mode, it just boots normally. I have installed ROM Manager some time ago and I believe I may have changed my recovery, but it was either CWM or TWRP so there's nothing else. I tried using the "Boot into recovery" option but the phone won't go into recovery. I tried many different combinations upon boot but none have worked. Can someone help me, I'm running 4.3 9.2.A.1.210. I have USB Debugging enabled.
Cheers.
Most (or even all) of the custom roms have built-in recovery. So, if you want to flash some custom rom, you extract the "boot.img" from the zip and flash it via FlashTool using fastboot mode (to put Xperia V into fastboot mode hold volume up button while connecting the phone to tbe pc and the led should turn blue. If it turns green then try holding the other volume button.). And then you just select the lightning icon in FlashTool, choose fastboot mode, on the right side in the middle is an option to flash kernel and just find the boot.img you extracted and select it. Keep in mind that your bootloader must be UNLOCKED and you must install fastboot drivers before doing this.
Btw...your phone will stay in the fastboot mode only for a couple of seconds so you have to be quick...I always find the boot.img first, then put my phone into fastboot mode and then just select the image to flash it.

So yesterday I bought my first Xiaomi phone, Mi5, it came installed with Version: V8.1.2.0.MAAMIDI (MIUI8) which I understand is the stock Global ROM.
Everything was fine untill I disabled some google apps and went to reboot and now my phone is stuck in a bootloop. I have locked bootloader(applied for unlock), no root.
Pressing vol + power enters me to a screen with a phone sketch and usb cable
Pressing vol - power enters fastboot
How can I repair my phone? Shouldn't there be a recovery on a stock ROM? How can I enter it?
Please help
Just flash stock rom.....
Goto fastboot mode and connect your phone to your computer with drivers installed in it
Open adb command prompt, and type adb devices and then it will recognise your device and now type reboot to edl
Now your is booted in download mode flash stock rom by mi flasher.......

Dear XDA users,
I want to unlock my (GFs) Z3c and I am unable to access the bootloader.
Starting the phone with Power + VolDown does not do anything, as long as the VolDown is being held, the screen stays black. When powering up the phone with Power and hit VolDown right after that, there is a loop where the phone shows the Sony logo and turns black each ~15 seconds.
Executing "adb reboot bootloader" shuts off the phone (the LED shows blue after that).
The device is a refurbished one with branding from "Telekom Germany" that we got as a replacement from our phone insurance after dropping the first one.
Is it possible that the bootloader is hidden somehow or missing/faulty?
What can I do?
I have working Flashtool and ADB on Win10 Pro (with disabled driver signature checks).

1. Check if bootloader unlock allowed = yes, (open dialer, enter *#*#7378423#*#* and go to service info-configuration).
2. If yes, unlock bootloader - https://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader (backup ta if you want - https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...versal-dirtycow-based-ta-backup-t3514236/amp/)
3. Flash recovery: install official TWRP app, select recovery for Z3c, download and flash on computer with terminal command 'fastboot flash recovery'.
I confirm the same issue as OP. I've downloaded the respective firmware and have confirmed via the service page that the bootloader is unlocked.
Now I'm trying to boot into fastboot via "adb reboot bootloader" and my phone looks like it turns off (no notification lights). When I type "adb devices" and "fastboot devices" both are blank ("adb devices" could find the device prior to the reboot command).
I also tried the Sony instructions and pressing Vol Up + Plugging in USB and this also has the same result as above. Not sure what to do next.
Update: I'm using Windows 10 and the problem was that it would not install the unsigned drivers that came with Flashtool. Once I rebooted Windows in troubleshooting mode (Shift + Restart) and disabled the signed driver requirement, Flashtool installed correctly. I reflashed the phone for good measure and now following the normal steps fastboot devices picks up the phone.
