If you want Samsung's original JB you can try I9070ITVLQ3 (with I9070XXLQG baseband), but you have to root it, debloat (ie eliminate unnecessary apps, you can find a guide to do it and root on xda) and change kernel (for stock rom I prefer CoCore). For now the best is CM10.1 by Team Canjica, you can also try CM10.2 by the same team.
o no, no -LightJBv1-2 is very stable, battery ok, games ok,

Is it ddulp8, not ddlup8?
Download this: http://d-h.st/GxG
You need custom recovery. Do you have CoCore kernel installed? If you do, go to recovery (power on phone with VolumUP+Home+Power buttons hold at the same time untill you fill some vibration). There go to Install from SD card, if you put that zip in internal, and install it. Do the same with that crt mod.
More explanation - what you need before using mod:
1. ROOT.
2. CoCore.
For first install of CoCore do this: Install Universal kernel flash, and some explorer with root permissions like Root explorer or ES file explorer. Download CoCore zip, unpack it and use kernel.bin.md5 file with Universal kernel flash. After that you will get CWM or TWRP (depends what CoCore version you choose). From that part you can install CRT off MOD by installing its zip from recovery.
light jb is best stock based rom.

Yes i did. Before i upgraded my phone to jellybean, everything was so smooth on gb, multitasking, gaming performance are really better on gb when compared to jellybean. My phone still can run smoothly even though i have installed 50 ++ apps when im on gb ,but not anymore when im on jellybean. So the stability, gaming performance and multitasking performance are better in gb. If upgrade to jellybean u can get to experience a newer firmware but at the cost of some performance degradation. But actually jellybean also not that bad just will become laggier when ur system becomes heavy and bad multitasking performance only. Also as soon as u upgraded to jellybean, u can get to flash any custom rom available which will help u to solve the lag problem.

That's bad. I think I will stay on gb and wait for kitkat if it will be released for my phone. I heard that it consumes less ram than jb which is good for midrange devices like mine.

In terms of performance, you can just try to upgrade to JB, root it and then you can try any kernel customization which tweaks the performance too.
And to think that i9070s will get any further update than JB, it would be impossible...it just is

There is a firmware (XXLPY) as well as an Update to the firmware (XXLPZ) both available.

Differences I noticed :
Alarm Clock fixed
Phone less laggy feels even more buttery now
Improved stability
USB issue fixed
Minor bug fixes..
.. N yes now it eats about 110 mb lesser RAM atleast in my phone!
Overall heavy improvement so its an important update you shouldnt miss. Dont worry you wont lose data for upgrading even via Odin.
Jb over custom ROM and Kernel
Hi thank you very much for helping me, my question is this.
S I have a modified I9070 with jet mod and its custom kernel, so my question, which Is a very noob one, is that if I install following the procedure in the android development forum, do I have to go back to stock GB or just do it over the current system....
Again thank you

I have tried factory reset and cache wipe.
Are others also experiencing this?
Or is this because i restored backup of apps + system data with titanium?

I reply not only because of naming my XXLT6.
XXLT6 is removed from my list of Roms, so you will not find it (it only made problems for me and other members).
And if you want to try to upgrade to JB you are at the right place here in XDA - no need to switch to other websites.
Use Dr. Ketan's standard thread for updating your Rom with one of the available JB stock Roms.
Or switch to a Custom Rom of the "color and taste" you like. Look in to the two development forums here and always follow the installation instruction of the specific Rom.
You'll get some nice features with JB (many of them I personally do not use).
But: I'm not convinced that you get increased performance with JB, I still think GB is the one to choose.
But 2: you have to check and compare this yourself.
But 3: I do not talk about battery life. My only answer to a reduced time of battery life is always: buy a new one.
If your device is too slow you could also try with a factory reset in GB and start with a clean device (after saving all your important data).
Well thank you very much.. i'm looking for the Fastest ROM for Gaming, f**k the colours, i'd rather play Windows 2000 with GTX titan card, rather than windows 8 with bad graphic card. I hope you get my point
So, any suggestions which ROM has the fastest performance?

I Think Pure Vanilla and galexperia are best rom and with minimum bugs. CM10.1 comes with lot of bugs but Lot more features also.
CoCore-E-4.2- is good and also saves battery
I prefer CoCore-E-6.8- it consumes more battery but performance is very nice
Try this kernals with different Custom ROM and u will come to know which is best for you.

JB(4.1.2) is laggy and not effective solution.
better try custom roms and enjoy.
My device once had stock JB and it worked well indeed. However, it probably needs time to settle in and will be smoother. Every rom is laggy at the very beginning of usage after flashing.
Root your phone, and flash cocore kernel. Better yet, install HarshJelly, it's a stock based rom. Or any custom rom if you prefer. Nothing much you can do if you don't want to root your phone. Or maybe upgrade your jb firmware to the latest one, LQL

should i use 6.8 or the latest version??
Latest version (9.0) allows CPU overclocking. Your phone may or may not be stable at 1.28ghz, instead of stock 1 ghz.
If it turns out to be a problem, then go back to 8.6, 6.8 is hopelessly old... or just use no frills CPU control to set your cpu back to 1 ghz and enjoy 9.0
Stock 4.1.2 + cocore 9.0 flies...
Just set your cpu to 1.0

6.8 works on 3 advance without problems. all others versions lags/reboots etc (for me)
9.0 testing
If you want to stick with stock firmware mean root it and uninstall the bloatware comes with stock os. Use the greenify app to stop the unwanted apps running in background.
Or else try custom jelly or kit Kat Rom. Lot of roms available for our model.

Try using JB Stock without SDCARD.
If the problems go away this is the problem.
I suspect that the JB version for SGA has trouble dealing with SDCARD. It is no coincidence that the internal storage has been a priority for several most current devices.
Unfortunately we have very little internal storage.
Advise a SDCARD good quality and good speed.
Also avoid occupy it completely. This goes also for internal storage.
Another good practice is to optimize from time to time the SDCARD.

I use Cocore 8.2. long time without lags, freezes, hangs, etc..
Happened a reboot , but only one in months using normally.
Totally Acceptable.Probably no connection with JB Stock or kernel. But Android itself
Dialer, message, etc..Only replaced and solved.
Stock camera has also worked well. Just always use internal storage and no more problems.
Launcher: "NOVA" . Smooth and without lags.
Anyway, using for months, I have no more complaints about stock JB.
SGA is not the fastest smart and has only 768 RAM, but everything works fine with JB Stock.
Of course I'll try AOSP or CM in final version.
Sometimes on my i9070 I experience some lag. Sometimes much, sometimes a little. I've read some posts here to look into some issues with this phone and came across something (a kernel I believe) called CoCore. It seems it is used for overclocking the processor for a nice performance boost.
At the moment the phone is running unofficial cyanogenmod 11. Will it be wise or helpfull to install this CoCore on the device? And what are the risks involved?
Cocore kernel is for stock ROM. CM 11 has its own kernel that is based on Cocore too. Try using Greenify app maybe on the apps you don't use often that might run in the background. Search for the app on Playstore or here on xda.

Lagfix is not a kernel, just an app to run regularly (manually if you use free version).
Personally I think that, if you don't have the patience to customize Stock Rom with Cocore kernel properly, you should try some Android 4.4 Custom Rom until you find a good one for you.
I keep using Stock Rom just for one reason, I customized it too much and I'm too lazy to start again.
Thanks a lot for all of your answers. I think I will keep using this room I'm using right now and when I get bored I'll try a version of jb with lagfix, or maybe I will just use stock with CoCore. The rom I'm using now sure is very stable.
Everything goes to show that it's all good and just a matter of personal taste. But some roms are definitely better than others.

At the moment it has cyanogenmod 11 (unofficial), with flattington theme. This doesn't make the phone faster, but it doesn't have hangups or lag like touchwiz. It's a very nice looking theme!
