By ok google if you mean the ability to start the search while the phone is off.. its a new feature in the snapdragon processor. We still have ok google but only after pressing the google search button or widget.

Hi guys!
So let me explain my problem.... Before the Z1 I had the Z and I also have a Nexus 7.
The thing is I love Google Now, even I'm not in the US and not all functions works in my country, I still like it.
With my old Z and with the Nexus, I can open Google Now and it waits for me to say a hotword, in my case it's "Ok Google" or "Google", well that works in the Z1... But in my other 2 devices, after I asked a question, I get the answer, and I can right way ask another thing using the hotword again, and here is where the Z1 fails, after I get the answer, the microphone icon is kind of "disabled" and I need to tap on it to get Google Now to listen to me.
I have the latest firmware from Sony and updates for Google Search on Google Play installed, my phone is in English US, and of course the hotword detection option is On.
Does somebody knows a solution to this problem?

I've just tried it as well and it works perfectly fine for me. Maybe you didn't pronounce it clearly enough for Google Search to pick it up. Maybe try wiping your Google Search data.
Other than that, you might want to blur out where you work in that photo as currently, pretty much everyone who sees that pictures knows.
So I have a HTC One, and my girlfriend has a HTC One X. Our google search hotwords are different. Mine says "Say Okay Google" and hers says "Say Google". On top of that, mine allows for continuous searching (ie. say "okay google", search something, and repeat), whereas hers only can search once (ie. say "google", search something, then you have to press the voice button to search again. Is there supposed to be a difference ? Do certain devices contain different versions of Google Search ? If possible, can the continuous searching be activated somehow ?

That Google Now feature ''Ok Google'' is new in android 4.4 (on your HTC One). The HTC one X is still on android 4.3 and doesn't support this feature yet.

Are you sure ? I'm more talking about in the actual google search app. Not the homescreen stuff. Also, my One is running 4.3 with sense 5.5, and the One X is running 4.2.2 with sense 5. Both running stock roms. no modding at all.

Android 4.3 under Google Search tab: ''Google''
http://www.android.com/about/jelly-bean/
You can say "Google" to activate Voice Search from within Google Search.
Android 4.4 ''Ok Google''
http://www.android.com/versions/kit-kat-4-4/
Just say “Ok Google”
You don’t need to touch the screen to get things done. When on your home screen* or in Google Now, just say “Ok Google” to launch voice search, send a text, get directions or even play a song.
Don't forget your region/language must be set to US to activate ''OK Google''.

yes, i know that. but i'm running 4.3 on my One and i can say ok google to activate it.
so..
HTC One: Android 4.3 + Sense 5.5, able to say OK Google to activate, able to continue searching after each search
HTC One X: Android 4.2.2 + Sense 5, only able to say google to activate, cant say OK Google, only able to do once, not after a search
also..
Transformer Infinity: CM 10.2 (Android 4.3.1), only able to say google to activate, cant say OK Google, only able to do once, not after a search
so with the range of devices i have access to, i'm only able to use OK Google hotword for one of the devices. And with that device, i'm able to use the hotword again to search again while in the results of another search. the other two devices can only use the hotword from the initial google search screen.
what i really want to know is why i cant do continuous searches like i can from my HTC One.
Because they don't support it...yet

Hi guys,
I managed to install google apps on my phone, and I must say Google Now/Voice is fantastic!
I was wondering if we could set the home button to launch Google Voice, like how Apple launches Siri. I have the app 'Tasker' although I'm not afraid to admit that I don't know how to use it
thanks a bunch.

Hi Folks..I really like the in call screen and the way it handles accepting and rejecting calls. Does somebody can make a flashable zip or something so that we can have that interface in our One?
If I want to port it manually, which apk am I looking at? Does I have to include any lib files?
Please guide/help me Devs..[emoji4]

You also forgot to check if you can actually install it from the play store.
Which you can't. The play store link for the app will only allow you to install it on ASUS devices.
Unable to activate it
Thanks Guys!!
I got the .apk after some googling and able to install it . But there is no option to activate it.
Whenever I try to make a call, the default in-call screen is showing up.

From the Play Store I think you have to use the app's dialer to call then only u will get the call ui.
Just a wild guess tho

Maybe instead of telling people to Google things and then begging for thanks like that in such large font, you should actually read what you link to first before just posting it.

There is no "wild guess". You won't be able to run this app on your phone without serious hacking. It's not in the Play Store so you can easily install it on another device. It's in the Play Store so that Asus can directly update it as a system app through the store instead of forcing people to wait for OTA updates to update one specific app. HTC does this, Sony does this, Samsung does this. I'm not sure how you attained the "Recognized Contributor" status without knowing this? It's kind of a popular OEM feature of the Play Store these days.
You're not going to get that in-call screen unless a developer is seriously interested in it. It probably has all sorts of framework hooks that are specific to the stock Asus ROM. It's like asking a dev to port over a component of HTC Sense or Samsung Touchwiz over to AOSP. It's just not going to happen. I'd stop looking for it.
Additionally, it's pretty hard to modify the in-call screen like that with an app. The best you can really do are apps that overlay themselves on top of the dialer, which is really hack-y and not a clean way of doing it.

its called google now. enable it, turn on all the options.. then, when the phones screen is off, unplugged or plugged in, say ok google, and itll wake your device up. if thats not what you meant, the nexus 6 doesnt have any other way to unlock your phone with voice. oh, btw, questions go into the q&a section, not into general.
My google now is enable but I can't see and voice unlock feature on my smart lock list . ?

I think you mean trusted voice. We have been discussing it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3080644
However, it seems Google may have stopped the roll out due to issues.
