You haven't activated you're McAfee? - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there away to stop this? I don't wish to use it, but it keeps popping up.

Reboot?
Gesendet von meinem GT-I9000 mit Tapatalk 2
Or just kill the app..
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Rebooted and killed app too... cleared cache too nothing helped
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
That sounds weird, are you sure is the gmail app causing this? Maybe it's something else. Check which applications are running and start killing them, you should eventually find it.

How can i search that process? By apps menu?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Yes, in the apps menu, select the tab "running" and start your killing spree there. That assuming you are in ICS/JB. To be honest, I've been in ICS for so long now that I don't remember if this menu is there in GB, maybe someone else can assist if you are running an older version of Android.
I am running ics and i cant see any process related to this

Turn off the phone barerii out for 15 minutes and re-start if the factory reset does not help.
Just uninstall the Gmail app and reinstall it again. It will solve the problem but it seems weird though...

Facebook running?

My gf's optimus shows Facebook in running apps using anywhere from 70-100mb!! Is this right?
My Xperia S only shows 18mb!
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
Hmm mine uses only 13MB,
Try a reboot then see the task manager again
Did you have Facebook built in? We had to download it which are odd for Android phones
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
Yep I downloaded it from Google Play too
Strange! No idea why then? Lol

Safe mode?

Does anyone know what the safe mode is useful for??
You can access it by keep pressing vol down when the phone is booting.
Sent from my C6603 using xda premium
Maybe similar to windows safe mode?
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2
It prevents 3rd party (installed) apps from running in case you get a rogue one that prevents the system from booting or running properly.
You can still access them to remove them.

That's what i thought,thanks you guys.

Be aware that if you're tempted to try it for the sake of it, it will mess up your widgets because they appear to the launcher to have been uninstalled. Even after a normal reboot, they'll be missing.

[Q] Toggle lockscreen

Is there any possibility to disable lockscreen and bring it back by one click?
Sent from my C6603 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Settings->safety setting->screen security setting

But I want to example set up face unlock and when I start to use metronome disable it and bring it back with one click instead of setuping it again.
Is there any widget or toggle?

You think its worth a factory reset?
Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
You can try. It's working without reset in my case.

If you turn task changer off then on again, it will work, but if you reboot your phone it will turn off swipe down.
