AOSP ROM for XSP - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can somenone make AOSP 4.4 or CM 11 for xperia SP?
Because i've see many AOSP ROM on other phones

It's not that easy to make a ROM like that. One do not ask somebody to make such a ROM. ROM are not something you just order like you would order a menu at the restaurant. The developers work for free and we must respect that. They develop a ROM whenever they want to. However, be sure that if someone has the skills and the time to do it he is doing it ! Let's wait and hope it comes soon!

It will be done. Wait for some time. The cm 11 is not stable enough for a daily driver yet.

Why are you trying to scold him?
" One do not ask somebody to make such a ROM. ROM are not something you just order like you would order a menu at the restaurant."
Your acting like he demanded the ROM. He simply asked. People asked and enquired about cm on the sp and got it eventually...If you don't ask you don't get.

Dude, if he had even READ other threads he had already know the answer. People are asking questions all the time while the answer is right in front of their nose. That way the XSP fora get polluted you understand? 10 threads about the same topic.... Why?
So now the question is answered, topic can be closed, and then someone else will open a new one because he didnt read this or any of the other threads regarding the same topic.
Just search and read Then ask questions.

custom rom

Is there any custom rom existing for p880 ?
CM10 ? If not, what is the reason sofar ?
Furthermore, this is this the developers section, where, as the name explains it well, only developers can post to show their work and not people who don't even know how to search in the forum.

There is no custom ROM yet and I'm moving this thread to the appropriate section.

Not entirely sure why my original answer was removed - I guess that our Mod didn't appreciate my picture?
Regardless of that, please learn to search and read before posting pointless questions. No custom ROMS, no unlocked bootloader. It would have taken you less time to find the answer yourself than it took me to type.

help deciding the best rom

Who the F/H*** Told you the thing about BEST ROM!!!
Its depend on you which will suit and best for you..You Have to decide yourself..and also its own personal choice..
So all the devs effords behind the making roms are best here..then all of them are best for us (Rom as well as dev)..
Now you are the STUPiD Who Understand Me Wrong..
I agree with Kranti, i tried many roms, but every time i go back for SGSII v9 ... no matter this rom is slow/fast or whatever, but suits me most

You're te one who said "no BEST rom yet. This indicates that you mean the best rom of all roms.

OK..listen first.,that my ans was for op Not For You and he understand to read the sticky thread..the development is only for making the best by improving and removing insides..i already said that its personal taste..you cannot tell him what/which is best rom..the users must have read the threads before ask this question.a lot of thread has been closed by mods for the same reason..
I don't need your quote anymore..
Also you have to read the forum rules first before comment here...
Going to report to mods for your bad manners..

Cyanogenmod

Hi all.i recently contacted a cyanogenmod developer and he told me that if we want cyanogenmod.
Quote from Jef.
"If a device is currently unsupported, there are two possible reasons as to why.
1.) If the device was previously supported and is no longer supported, this means the previous maintainer has either left the CM team, or has become to busy with their own life to continue the work.
2.) It is because there is not a developer on the CM team that is willing to take on the work to maintain it.
In either case, if you would like to see support for this device, the best thing to do would be to find a member of the community who is willing to work on this device. This person would need to create a properly working device folder, and submit it to us through our devrel initiative"

Useless thread! You could post his reply on discussion thread rather then creating a thread for it.
Someone tell this guy to read first the Rules and also learn how to post. Damn this is annoying! I see him everywhere! xD
Sorry bro, no hard feelings but just be a bit more careful.

[SOLVED] Installing a custom ROM on Xperia Z1 using XZDualRecovery

Hello guys. I'm new to the community, but I did my homework and I can honestly say I've spent a good +40 hours on this site in the past month, and it paid off since I'm now the proud owner of a rooted Xperia Z1 running 4.4.2 KitKat with XZdualrecovery which is something I tought I would never do out of fear of bricking my device and the lack of information and support for my rather "slightly rare" C6906 model with annoyances like a non-unlockable bootloader , where the C6903 and C6902 models get all the attention. Anyway guys, I rooted my phone, awesome...but for me, the next step is installing a custom rom, because I feel that the stock xperia Z1 firmware is not enough for my customizing needs, plus I also envy the stock like experience it provides, even more than my Z1. I read up on a few guides for installing cyanogenmod on the Z1, but they all seem to be only supported for the C6903 and C6902 models. Plus, it doesn't help to motivate myself knowing that my C6906 model still has a locked bootloader (apparently) and I've read unlocking the bootloader is a requirement for installing custom ROMs. So, my questions are:
Is XZDualRecovery enough to install custom ROMs? Specially the version with the locked bootloader? Could I run into any issues?
If the answer to the previous question is yes, Are there any good guides concerning the C6906 model on how to install custom roms? (Or more importantly, cyanogenmod? [preferably versions that have been tested on the C6906])
You cannot install anything like Cyanogenmod as it needs an unlocked bootloader
You can install any rom from the development section, just follow the locked bootloader instructions
Now that you have recovery, make a backup and follow the instructions in the thread.
Thanks!

Thank you! You saved me a lot of time so I can stop searching for a way to install CM. I will look into the development section them. Any recommendations on what's a good/stable/popular ROM I can install then?

No, and xda mods don't like that question being asked. Best ROM and asking for best ROM threads get closed quickly. Here is why..
If you ask someone which pizza they should buy then people give their own favourites as a recommendation. I like hot, spicy and meaty ones, but if recommend that to you may say "That's disgusting!" you may be one of those people who like anchovies and sweetcorn on their pizza. That may be perfect for you, but I will hate it
In short, you have to try them yourself and see which one suits you best. One bit of advice though, even if someone recommends a ROM to you, its no guarantee you will like it.
Part of the appeal of android is that we can customise so much, so try, test for a week (It takes that long to get an idea of performance and battery) then move on and try another.
Once you have done that, flash your favourite.

Good work Eclipex
It's true, or at least is very very dubious!!!
It looks like he wants someone to try what he really fears to do!! If someone bricks a phone is not his problem. This is a shameful behavior...
Already in that thread, the user @s3icc0 has answered his doubt... so posting a new thread here is just to get a victim who believes in his good will... what in fact is a bad faith behavior...
Mod Edit
Please test these things yourself , before releasing them on the other users.
