Hello People
I have just got a ROM to test for our i9506. It is one of the best ROM's out there for other phones but I wonder if it works for our phone. one of very successful developer shared this personally with me. My i9506 is currently used for business purposes but for all those adventorous folks out there, please test it and let us know how it works. May be its a great beginning for all of us.

Hi eclipse
My i9506 is an office phone. I can't test roms unless I really want to update my rom. I wish I could test but I can't. Try this Rom and reply Joe you go.

Good work Eclipex
It's true, or at least is very very dubious!!!
It looks like he wants someone to try what he really fears to do!! If someone bricks a phone is not his problem. This is a shameful behavior...
Already in that thread, the user @s3icc0 has answered his doubt... so posting a new thread here is just to get a victim who believes in his good will... what in fact is a bad faith behavior...
Mod Edit
Please test these things yourself , before releasing them on the other users.

Can someone give me a link where I download again the rom : Energy.BLACKSTONE.23699.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.sencity.Nov.25. I accidentally deleted.
Thanks in advance
Will send a link to it in a Private message in a few minutes for you dude, don't think NRG would want a link publicly posted!
Strangely the newest roms just result in a boot loop on my Blackstone, have tried 4 different roms which is painful as they each take over 30 minutes to download! Had to resort to the 25th one hence i still have it, link coming!
Link sent
couldn't you ask that in the energy rom thread?
i mean was it really necessary to open a new thread?
spartan...kill this thread please

Wrong section man.... And by the info provided in your links only SGS2 and the Galaxy Tab supports Kies Air....
EDIT : Yes. This works on my Mini with CM7 RC3 . The interface has some bugs. But it works
please check, think, or preview before posting something
if i'm not wrong too, kies only supports stock rom, right?
See this Kies runs from your Phone So there's no need to have stock ROM
nice share but still wrong section haha.
guys its mention there that it works for only those two devices, but tadaaaaaa, it works for our phone also, i know its a wrong section but its something really cool and even helpful for many of us who are using custom rom
hmm i should try it

So you know its the wrong section and still you post it here?, this is a really good motive for an infraction.
Dont do it again. Moving this to its appropriate forum.

Hey,
Someone has posted this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1770498
This person is obviously working hard and released an update of cm7 so please try it.
Thanks
Ps if you cant get the download working I have a copy
That's really old, is already known since it's in this section (you might be surprised, but everyone can see that thread, not just you), and outdated.
The Galaxy Y version is better (you can actually flash that and change your resolution; GIYF).
And stop posting more threads about CM, seriously. Be patient or GTFO. Actually, just GTFO. XDA isn't for you people who only come here to make their devices cool.
Here's the latest Kernel for Andro-id-RC3 by Abenagial. This is an update package for this ROM, so you should be on this ROM to flash it.
It includes
-kernel 35.14
- gpu update
- gui update..
HERE IS THE LINK
NOTE:- Please make a Nandroid backup before flashing this, in case anything goes wrong. Also I am not responsible for anything happens to your device. Flash on your own risk.
credit goes to @ABenagial who posted this on Facebook. Abenagial
thanks for the update. is this by Tjstyle?

Because I haven't seen it. This is a new kernel source, which require better publishing so our devs can work through it. I haven't copied it from your post. I got it on our facebook page for mi-410. Thank you.

I am not saying that you copied from my post... even I took it from facebook page and as this kernel is only for RC 3 I posted in that thread... if check thread carefully you will find on last between page only....no need to post separately .... anyway my point is in regards to forum space which is wasting because of repeated post and thread....and its two month old ... no point in posting separate after such a long time ...
Besides the pushing of that old topic, I've tried a number of the newer/recent firmwares and they all have one or the other bug. Something is not working, crashes, or screws up. Nasty stuff sometimes. I am back to the 2.3 series, and perhaps I may refresh my now very old MacLite with a Sharp version. Depends a bit on my time, but I think it's still the better firmware for our phone. That is, one where everything works!

Yeah it's true that we are still struggling to get a good, nicely working ICS+ ROM. But without trying new ones, it's impossible to fully utilize our device capabilities.
Hope for the best bro.
And yeah Sharp is a great ROM.

thanks for this post gautam .... i didn't knew there is .14 version kernel available for our device ... and whatever i try my permanent rom is a gingerbread , so thank you for posting ....
please give some details about functionality .... is everything working like wifi, gsm data , tethering etc.
Yes everything is working except some people having issues with front camera force closing...
Hi, i'm a new member of the forums but i have been cheking the youtube channel and also used the forum to root my device and also to install some custom roms in it.
I'm currently using CM 10.1.6 modded and it works perfectly and very smooth
so first of all thx to those guys http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2212438
second, i would like to know if we, the cooper users are we going to have 4.4 on our devices anytime soon? i dont know if that is even possible; maybe the fact that we are already able to run 4.2.2 is big step. However; kitkat will be us a performance increase? is it gonna use less ram for exaple (the s5830 really lacks on that point)
thx
(I'm pretty suprised about all the anti spam security measures that this forum has, i have never seen something similar)

Maclaw posted on his fb wall that there would a release soon. He later told that he was working on cm11
AFAIK, maclaw is planning to release a new kernel. Would be nice to see a CM11, though I am a little reserved regarding it
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Yesterday he confirmed that he is working on CM11 for Ace. We should just give MAclaw some time. I know, I hate him too
i have just seen his troll video about kitkat, seems close hehe
Best to discuss kitkat here. Keep it in one thread
