Hey guys,
Got this phone yesterday. Everything looks stupidly big! I had S3 before with one of CM roms and custom DPI settings that made the phone really usable! Any way to change it on this phone and what settings are people using? Thanx!!

You must root your phone and after this, you can install ROM Toolbox for changing DPI.

Hello
Hey guys I am trying to use the Paranoid Android or any of the Mix builds out there but cant get the perfect settings to our OBs screen size.
It looks kinda clumsy or small and specially in the day where its hard to do something on the OB with small font using paranoid
(not blaming paranoid android in any way..)
Do you guys mind sharing your settings for paranoid android roms you are using.
You can share the screens too
even i hav the same issue i personally dont understand what setting shud b made..

Screensize is a personal preference. I like mine on 160dpi. And for the settings, well just turn on the ones you want to use and off the ones you don't want to use. It's that simple

Yeah I understand that. But doesn't it look small on our OB's screen???
Or its just I feel that way?
Like I said, it's personal .
I don't have any problems running it on 160dpi. In fact I use this setting for any Rom I have ever used.

This is an odd problem for me. I really love the Lux Auto-Brightness app and use it all the time but I've been having this issue that's now preventing Lux from doing it's job. Third-party app control of Screen Brightness doesn't work. If I go into the Android settings and change the brightness from there it works fine but every single Third-party app I try can't control my brightness. I can't even control the Screen Brightness from within MXPlayer anymore and that was working fine as well. I've thought maybe something is wrong with Lux but uninstalling and rebooting didn't fix anything. Does anybody have any ideas what's causing this?

I'm running rooted Stock 4.1.2 with only mod being the change of dpi to 160. I've made no other mods.

Stupid question but did you try changing the dpi back to the original setting? If so and it didn't change anything I would just do a dirty flash of stock rom. Changing dpi can screw up a lot of things.

Changing the dpi didn't help. Doing a dirty flash is an idea but I'd prefer trying something less extreme before doing that. It'd be a pain to re-setup root and things just to get brightness control fixed. At that point I'd probably just move on to a Custom ROM.

Hi, ive tried literally every aosp rom for the htc one tmo variant, and everytime i set the bassboster, or any other setting, it doesnt stick at all. Is there something i can do or something i can flash to make it work? Thanks in advance.

It's not absolutely necessary, but is it possible to change the resolution on the stock camera? On my previous phone it was part of the settings on stock sense and cm10.1 but this option is nowhere to be found in the Dev edition. Am I looking in the wrong places or for something that's nonexistent? Thanks all.

i haven't seen the option. nor have i seen it in the video settings. you can, however, change it in other apps.
Hey everyone. Thanks in advance for the help. I don't know about everyone else... But every phone I have had I always change my density to around 360ish or there is a Rom preconfigured . it seems more functional to me lol. Any who... The one issue I have never solved is the lock screen and dial pad. They are all aligned to the left. It really bugs me. Anyone know how to fix this and center them

Get the app settings xposed module and change the dpi for them back to 480. People have remade some of them to be custom DPIs but im not entirely sure if they're compatible so you could try those or make your own if you dont want them at 480
