Screen Protectors for Incipio DualPro case. - G2 Accessories

Hey guys. I hate to even post this as it seems like an everlasting battle with this phone. I have yet to even plug up my new G2 to charge. I have an Incipio DualPro case on the way, and I am looking for a screen protector that will work well with it.
The protector doesn't have to be glass, I just want it to be crystal clear, and not interfere with the case, or vice versa.
I seem to have it down to two different protectors, the Obliq, and the Spigen Steinheil.
My question for you all is, does anyone have either of these on their phone now, with the DualPro case? Are they perfectly clear?
If I were to go with Obliq, what is the difference in their Crystal Clear and Anti-Shock versions?
As I said, with such a nice screen, clarity is a must. I have spent the last hour and a half reading through the 70+ pages of the other two popular screen protector threads here, and this is what I have come to.Everything else seems to rise up, or cause screen touch issues.
Thank you for anyone with any answers, and I apologize ahead of time for creating yet another screen protector thread.

How do you like your spigen ultra crystal protector

Those of you that have the spigen ultra crystal do you like it? Would you want to switch? Is there a better one I should look into? I am about to purchase it, but I wanted to see what you guys think.
love mine. Had them on my last 4 phones and all my tablets. Perfectly clear and smooth

I've had mine on for over a month and its going strong. It looks clear, covers up everything you would need to be covered, and is basically everything you would want in a dry install screen protector. However if I were to do it again, I'd probably go with a realook as it covers more area of the screen. Also since it covers more of the screen, it'll probably be easier to align when you put it on. Due to a shorter cutout, I had a little bit of trouble aligning the spigen because I'm OCD and wanted the perfect placement on my screen. I'm pretty sure you would be happy with either but if it were my first screen protector, I'd choose the realook.
Here is a link to a review of the realook on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2067640&highlight=realook
Also on amazon, there are 2 reviews from people that have owned both the spigen and the realook. They both state that the realook is better than the spigen: http://www.amazon.com/REALOOK-Samsung-Galaxy-Protector-Crystal/dp/B00A3377XW/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1358532758&sr=1-1&keywords=realook+samsung+galaxy+note+2
I'll never look at screen protectors like I have with SPIGEN. I have nothing but good things to give them.
Absolutely amazing! Crystal clear, very scratch resistant, super smooth, easy install, and cases don't bother it. Covers enough for me. I'd like to see a little more but I love how case friendly it is because of it.

Griffin Survivor case

Im getting tired of taking my otterbox defender apart every week or so to clean the dust out from the screen. Is the griffin survivor case any better? Ive heard its good, from some ios friends, also does amazon sell it? Thanks.

Griffin doesn't make a Survivor case for the Note 2. There's a chinese knock off that many of us have. I'm not in a position to compare it to an Otterbox. You may want to ask on Vectron's review thread.
As drnihili-zztop (man, that is one cool beard!!!) correctly pointed out, some Chinese manufacturer took S3 design of Survivor and scaled it up for Note 2. The fitment is OK, but the screen quality of the plastic screen protector is cheap. My kids had Survivor for their iPod touch, and I can tell you with certainty it's not the same. It is usable though, and has a great drop protection.
Now, here is a bigger question, why do you even need to use built-in screen protector on your Defender? Otterbox screwed up the design of this case for Note 2. Every comment you read in this forum or any other forum or even Amazon reviews talk about the same thing - awful screen protector. It's not flush with a display, but rather slightly concave up. When you push on the screen protector it sucks in the air/dust from the opening of home button. That's how you get specks of dust and moisture in there. I would say most everybody remove that plastic protector as soon as they get the case (use hair dryer to soften the glue and push it out). Get yourself a decent screen protector like iSmooth or Spigen, and you are in business!

I love the otterbox itself but the screen protector is horrible and yes i have thought about taking it out and getting a zagg but i've read that if i use the s pen it can leave the some indents, then i heard about tempered glass screen protectors. I was very interested in the MIME glass screen protector, but i just don't want to spend the $40 on it if it wouldn't work good with the otterbox defender. Also i heard somewhere elses(i think android central forums) that otterbox was going to revise the defender, i've been waiting on it but i'm tired of waiting. If you can suggest a decent tempered glass screen protector that works with the defender i might give it a chance, or if griffen comes out with a survivor for the Note 2.

If you read MIME review on this forum, everybody had an issue of edges not sticking. Even so it's discounted at 1/2 off, I don't think anybody paid $40, but rather $20(?) I wouldn't recommend it. I'm using VITREO from Seidio: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2210365 and absolutely love it. Yes, its expensive and it's narrow so you don't have any non-sticking edge issues (N2 glass is curved toward the edge), but it also bullet proof. With Defender, I was a little anxious when I placed my Note 2 in it when I had plastic screen protector in, but once plastic screen protector was removed - it was perfect. Keep in mind, I wasn't using real Defender, but rather HK knock off which is 1:1 copy of it (in both quality, fitment, and dimensions). I had original Defender 3-4 months ago, and returned it back after a few days of use; couldn't stand that awful screen protector and the whole bulk wasn't justifiable. Been rocking UAG with VITREO until now when I just switched to ZL 9300 mAh battery and ZL tpu case. But still going back and forth between UAG and stock battery, and ZL setup.
Yep. The one real complaint I have about the fake Survivor is that the screen protector marks up pretty easily. They are still decent cases though and can be had pretty cheap.

Verizon Diztronic case with screen protector

So my dad got the Verizon G2 yesterday and I ordered the Diztronic TPU case for it which came in today. He's only had for phone for 20 hours and we noticed there's a tiny hairline scratch toward the bottom of the phone. (You can feel it with your fingernail, is that bad/means it's more than a simple scratch?) Is that something I should be going back to Verizon for?
I've seen people posting about what case and screen protector they use but I haven't seen people state whether that combo works on the Verizon model or not specifically, so anyone that has the Diztronic case with a screen protector and has the Verizon phone, can you let me know which screen protector you have?I can't find the thread I was reading yesterday that had some of the combinations people use now though, forgot which one it was.
I saw this one http://www.iloome.com/LG-G2-Screen-Protector-Flexible/dp/B00F4IIGMM
and was wondering if it's actually good, or it is has issues with the case.
or this one http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Armor-Sm...746559&sr=8-3&keywords=lg+g2+screen+protector
Edit: Found this one on Amazon too, seems to have good reviews: http://www.amazon.com/iLLumiShield-...746559&sr=8-4&keywords=lg+g2+screen+protector
I'm open to any suggestions though.
Go check out this thread about the first screen protector you listed
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2450811 sounds like best bet
I searched but didn't find any first hand posts about the verizon model with cases/specifically the diztronic case. Then again I may have just missed it I have the flu atm... :crying:
I have the att version using tempered glass screen protector . and one of my cases is a diztronic . if your getting a tempered glass one read the reviews some of them have problems with the edges not sticking like mines but I have no problems like the case making the edges life up . that only happens when use my otter box defender case .

I have the Verizon model (vs980), iLoome 8h tempered glass screen protector, and the dizitronic case will arrive today. Once I test it out, I will update this tread and let you know. Currently I have the incipio dualpro case, no issues with this combo in regards to the screen protector. But like I said, once I receive the dizi case, I will update.
This is one of the downfalls of a TPU case is that it has pretty big lips that overhang the screen edges causing the screen protectors to bubble up and pull.
Hmm okay, and awesome john, hope it works together well.
Player, the Diztronic case doesn't seem to have very big edges over the screen at all to me, but maybe they are just considered big to other cases for this phone.
OK...here it goes.
Dizitronic case has been on it for a few hours now, and it is not interfering with the iLoome flex screen protector at all. I am actually very pleased with this case/iLoome combo so far. The case fits perfectly and does not take away from the design of the phone...I actually like it a lot better than the dualpro. Dualpro offers more protection, so I will most likely use that one when I am hunting/fishing...but for day to day, this case fits my needs perfectly. I will say that I could potentially see the case lifting the protector a bit if the protector was not installed perfectly centered...but I have about a centimeter gap on each side so I do not see this being an issue. I may post some pictures later to show you. Hope this helps!

Pictures would be really awesome, as well as an update after a day or two of having it on. I really appreciate the help a ton, I felt so terrible when my dad discovered a scratch on his phone not even a day after getting it... And he's extremely careful with his stuff, I have no idea how it could have gotten scratched. It had to have been scratched in the box because the phone literally wasn't around anything. I want to make sure nothing else scratches it...

Review: Dendrobates Note 8 case friendly screen protector

Hi all, I've been after a decent screen protector for my Note 8 and came across a now closed thread on here asking for reviewers to receive a free one for testing. Unfortunately, I live in the UK so the free option was not available to me. As the reviews on Amazon.com seemed good I thought I'd try my luck. This is the protector:
https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Friendly-Dendrobates-Installation-Coverage/dp/B076PRGQKM
Installation: this was a little bit tricky compared to a TGSP, as the film is much more flexible, it's very similar to the Brotect ones but actually covers most of the edges of the screen. The guide which fits into the USB port is a great idea as it ensures the correct alignment of the protector. Just take your time and push out any bubbles with the supplied squeegee. I did have a small issue when taking off the top protective layer as the adhesive used is very strong, this meant that the actual protector came away from the screen. Fortunately, the protector did not move and was easily refitted without any issues.
The protector fits very well with a small border that is not covered to allow use with a case. I've tried fitment with both the Ringke Onyx and Spigen Ultra Hybrid and both fit perfectly with no lifting of the protector.
Overall I'm very pleased with the protector and find it has a nice feel to it. It's more like a very thin glass and has a hard to the touch surface so works well with the stylus. The one thing I'd change is the left and right edges of the protector have a very fine black border, this would be fine if the protector was full coverage. As the protector is case friendly this border is on the actual screen, though this has not been an issue for me when using with a case as the edges are slightly obscured anyway.
I'll add photos when I get chance tomorrow.
dendrobates screen protector
waiting to see it
Oh the shill that got banned is back ^
I actually REALLY like the Dendrobates screen protector for the S8+. At least the second version it. It's still on my S8+ as a matter of fact.
However the Dendrobates for the Note8 was very disappointing. It would not stick down on the right side. Used up both screen protectors trying to make it work. Dendrobates refunded me.
Dissapointing service from them, i would avoid.
Their previous thread on XDA got blocked and OP seems to be one of them trying to promote their own stuff again...

I'm not trying to promote anything. I'm just trying to share a good experience that I've had following several attempts to find a decent screen protector for the Note 8. Still going well, not had chance to take any photos yet, will try to over Xmas.

Galaxy Note 8 Case Thin Fit 360 - With integrated glass protector

https://www.spigen.com/collections/...-note-8-case-thin-fit-360?variant=36835984257
This is the new galaxy note 8 cover from Spigen, does anyone got this? This is still unavailable in Europe.
Someone who own this could tell if you have any touch issue? Thanks in advance
its on amazon for only 17.99. see if you can order it through there instead.
I had the spigen glass protector with a different case, the 20 minutes the protector lasted on the phone I needed to do everything 3 times to get a response. Protector came off in my pocket, cut the lining of my suit and scratched me. Spigen didn't even respond to me via amazon when told. I have bought spigen for years, never again.

i can't, i must wait a few weeks that it comes to europe
I just got mine in today. I have a black Note 8, but got the deep sea blue case to add a bit of color to my life. The color is awesome, the fit of the case is great, but the screen protector is just okay. It took a minute to get it aligned properly, but it definitely feels like the touch sensitivity is worse and catches finger prints and smudges pretty easily. I typically don't use screen protectors, so it's a big difference for me. If they had an option for the case without the screen protector for a cheaper price, I would've gone with the case only, but since the screen protector came with it, I figured I'd give it a shot. If things don't work out, I'll just peel off the screen protector. The case is awesome though, I'm coming from a Speck presidio grip case, and am very happy with the Spigen 360.
Thanks for the info. i guess i'll take it asap. It just need to pop on amazon EU
Got my case today. I like the feel of it. Super low profile. Only thing I don't like are the connection joints. Some of them are flared out slight. Must be the material.
For the screen protector. I used the diy loca glue technique. I had extra laying around from my whitestone. Looks very nice. Have two bubbles but they are not in my "normal" touching zones and should have no negative effect. I'll post pics shortly
Pics. As mentioned earlier
