so you update google search and services in playstore and install googlehome as normal apk?
I couldn't get it to work on cm10. Tried a lot of things. Google Search FCs instantly..
Thus only works on ligux for some bizzare reason

HI Guys,
i installed this rom: [Aug 04, 12][ICS-ROM] iCyanogen 1.1 [Fast-Stable-Bravia-Xloud][tytung_HWA_r3.3]
I really love this ROM, its fast stable and looks very nice. One Problem i detected unfortunately. There is no Google Market installed, so i am not able to install appz to my HD2 Phone.
So i go on and loaded gapps-hdpi-20101114-signed.zip. I installed this in recovery Mod and after reboot my Android Framework always crashes. I guess its the wrong Gapps Version i installed. Can someone tell me which version to use with iCyanogen 1.1?
thx a lot!
This rom has fm radio?

you can search for modded google market
theres a couple 3.4.7 modded markets that can be used and they wont update
to the newest market
When I updated to version 1.2, Google Play didn't show up either. But I wiped cache and reinstalled and it showed up. I think it's much smoother than 1.1 also.
try to reinstall the rom and do a clean install, ive had the exact same problem with MIUI
Hi,
I am using stock (2.3.6) Android on i9000 (well not stock but stock based custom rom)
Recently I updated Hangouts (Google Talk) and now it does not work. It keeps saying, my phone does not support new Google Play Services.
Is there a solution to this?
Thanks.
Try to uninstall Hangouts update (menu Settings > Applications > All), then reinstall it again from Play Store.

If so, try to uninstall Play Store updates.

Maybe google is rolling them out by patches as always. I don't have new version on Play Store, just the 8.4.xxx that is installed after I did a fresh install of one of the L ROM on here. Oh well, no rush. Regarding Gmail, I got Inbox so I don't use Gmail.
font looks a bit smaller on the gmail. hm. like the older one
anyone have a titanium backup? I'm currently trying to figure out why it's not saving the older app version when I do a "redo backups for newer app versions" backup.
You can get them from APKMirror

tried install google lens on mine k20 pro cn rom , doesnt seem to work , and prompt me this , anyone can read it ?
It probably requires Google Play services. You may want to flash the global rom/miui.eu rom.

I've just tried this on my Chinese rom device with Play Store installed and it does install Google Play services.
The error when opening Google Lens translates to "This app is not yet included in the app store".
[Edit Solved]
It's trying to open the Google app to install from the Play Store.
Install the Google app and it works.
