Hi,
I am using stock (2.3.6) Android on i9000 (well not stock but stock based custom rom)
Recently I updated Hangouts (Google Talk) and now it does not work. It keeps saying, my phone does not support new Google Play Services.
Is there a solution to this?

Try to uninstall Hangouts update (menu Settings > Applications > All), then reinstall it again from Play Store.

I use "DMORE 3.5 JW7 t" rom
Android 2.3.6 baseband I9000XWJW1
where can I find suitable gapps ?

actually I didn'ttry installing gapps because I don't use a CM based rom. I use a stock based rom.

Hmhh deinstallation of the update, when available and reinstall Hangouts ??? Are the google play services updated, i think there was an update in the last time ...a bug was that the device manager gets disabled, i read something about it ...
Does you play store works actually???

Which error message do you have when you start Play Store?
Play store works but can2t update Google Play Services...

Do you have an error when you install apps from Play Store?
If so, try to uninstall Play Store updates.
no errors with Play Store.
problem solved.
I've installed stock rom fresh and then installed custom rom Dmore 3.6
For future application compatibility problems try updating to a most recent rom: P

i installed this rom: [Aug 04, 12][ICS-ROM] iCyanogen 1.1 [Fast-Stable-Bravia-Xloud][tytung_HWA_r3.3]
I really love this ROM, its fast stable and looks very nice. One Problem i detected unfortunately. There is no Google Market installed, so i am not able to install appz to my HD2 Phone.
So i go on and loaded gapps-hdpi-20101114-signed.zip. I installed this in recovery Mod and after reboot my Android Framework always crashes. I guess its the wrong Gapps Version i installed. Can someone tell me which version to use with iCyanogen 1.1?

i have also this rom and of course have google play but when i install it it was google market and updated automatically to google play

you can search for modded google market
theres a couple 3.4.7 modded markets that can be used and they wont update
to the newest market
When I updated to version 1.2, Google Play didn't show up either. But I wiped cache and reinstalled and it showed up. I think it's much smoother than 1.1 also.
try to reinstall the rom and do a clean install, ive had the exact same problem with MIUI

Using Ligux 2. my Play services and Google search was already updated in Play store so just installed GoogleHome.apk and its running smoothly

I couldn't get it to work on cm10. Tried a lot of things. Google Search FCs instantly..
Thus only works on ligux for some bizzare reason

i recently updated my phone with CyanogenMod 11.0 20140208 and i cant play a live video from website or app,after it loads it sayd cant play video

i had this issue before. i made a full wipe and reflash the rom. after that i downloaded mini modular gapps from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942. after you flash the gapps don't install any other apps open google play store and log in your account, accept the terms. then it would be solved.

I installed a new rom with gapps. well probably the gapps hadnt play store-.-
so i installed newest version of play store and google service.
google play services gives an error and play store doesnt wanna load.
anyone can help me?

Find gapps for version of Android that you have and install it again. What gapps did you use and what ROM did you install?

i installede cm 11, i cant install anything now cause i has no recovery to download without play store... i used cm gapps.. and i did instaleld the right version

Hello, @shut_down was meaning device's recovery mode. While powered off, press and keep pressed Vol -/Home/Power keys to enter in recovery, the same procedure you used to install CM11.
Download 4.4 GApps here, they work for sure since I always used PA ones for 4.4 ROMs

Flash stock JB firmware again. CM11 did not brick it, you did something wrong.

i done it, now i am stock 4.1.2 agian.
I dont know i installed cm11 it worked fine... But then, i restarted my phone and it was bricked...

i have the huawei Chinese version 4x (che2-ul00) i have upgraded my phone to android 6 and the the emui was 4.0 then i updated the emui to 4.0.3 then after installing play store and play service the latest ones when i open it shows play service need to be updated in the notification bar i even tried deleting the catch files and the data too but i have tried installing previous version of play service too but then play store just works in a loading mode it doesn't show anything so please help me.

Open this and click on play services logo in the link .it will redirect u to play store . Just update the app

Give a try by formatting your phone.
after reset my problem still remains is the problem about my play services.i don't know can anyone give me the correct google play service link to download witch is suitable for my huawei honor 4x

try by signing with different email id and check whether apps are updating while you are checking play services.
If yes wait till they all get updated.Also check your internet connection.

when i start my play store it just shows a white screen and it doesn't show any think else i stays like this now u understand my problem i have installed play service(440) type.i don't know witch did i installed the previous time but when i used my phone at android kitkat there was no problem but after the update of android 6 this problem comes so can u help me now.

Do you have unlocked bootloader and twrp installed?
If yes then there is a simple way to solve your problem.
What build number do you have now.

Go to apps and Google play store clear app data.
Google play services and clear app data.
Try again by updating play services.
It might solve most of your problem.
