I've seen the ability to delete pictures from the camera gallery simply by sliding to right and swiping up or down to remove the picture. On my Moto X when I slide to the right to open the pictures I've recently taken with my camera I get a prompt that asks me "Complete action using" and lists the Gallery App or the Photos App. Does anyone know how to get rid of this prompt, I just want to be able to take a picture, slide to the right, and with a quick swipe up delete the picture. Thanks.

Yeah that worked, well that and also zooming out to bring up the "card style" that lets you swipe away the pictures
Thanks.

you sound new to the android world, so a helpful FYI:
whenever you install an application that does a similar function to another application, android will ask you what app you want to use and if you want it to be the default app for that function (once vs. always). you can always clear these settings in the app settings menu.
example: if you download firefox, android will ask you if you want to use chrome or firefox.

I was curious to know if there's a mod or port for a regular more easily known gallery such as what we are used to with Samsungs or other HTC devices ...nothing like the layout we have now...something that just takes you to the pictures rather than having to go through folders to find what u want .
Or a way to delete the gallery from the system and make another the default?
Have you seen the option on the top left of the gallery to change to album view? And then click menu -> show/hide albums, and select all photos and all videos and deserve everything else.

Hello all,
I am on Boost Mobile using RaptorSense 7 and the Modded Desire 510 Kernel v2.6. The People app force closes when I attempt to add a photo to my contacts.
Steps to reproduce are:
1. Tap on the photo of a contact in the People app
2. Tap the little contact card on the right
3. Tap the little camera to the bottom right of the photo
4. Tap Gallery to select a contact photo
5. It immediately force closes
Also if I long press a contact and select "Edit contact", then tap the camera in the top left corner, then on the "Select photo" screen tap Gallery. It immediately force closes after that.
I can however use QuickPic to set a photo as a Contact icon.
I just wanted to know if anyone knows why this force close happens. Thank you
Gallery is pulled from latest sense build. People is not. Since sense 7 is a lollipop only update then there are some little things that may not work since we are currently still on kit Kat. Please if you have any bugs post them to the correct thread, until I get a dedicated Q&A section opened up.
Hello, I am trying to set wallpapers but my phone won't let me use photos in gallery to set it. What should I do? I went to HTC website and followed but it still won't let me do it and instead I have to login htc connect which I don't really want to do.
To set the photo to the wallpaper:
Come to the gallery, select a photo for the wallpaper, open it, click on the three dots, choose to install both the gallery and choose (optional filter expression can) galachku click on the upper right corner. enjoy

Hey guys has any one had issues with the stock launcher. I install new apps and they do not show in the app drawer. I even word data from TouchWiz home and they still don't show. Using a third party launcher they show just fine but stock hit or miss if they actually end up in the app drawer. I can search for them so they are installed but if I got locate it does not show it in the drawer.

Open the apps drawer and hit the 3 dots in the top right corner.
Select sort and choose Alphabetical rather than custom.
I believe this may be your issue...

I was wondering if there is a way once I take a screenshot and it's in the notification shade and hit the edit button, who do I have it open in Google photos instead if Samsung gallary?
Is it safe to just disable Samsung gallary ?
Thanks

screenshot edit
You can download a good software from google playstore for the screenshot edit.
To download Google Photos app and set it to let photos be open in by default in the Settings

It opens as defualt for pics. But not the notification shade right after screenshot. Always takes me to Samsung editor
sorry if noob question.. is there any way to allow screenshot taking by only pressing the power button ? Pressing both down key and power button together for 2 seconds is too tired. That xposed module APM+ seems not working here for such function ?
