Root using the method described in the development section. I update to 4.3, lost root and just did that again and now I'm running 4.3 and I'm rooted.

The camera looks a little better (just a little, no miracles...)
The languages are the same, soo, it's a Eurpen...
No problems with network...
No extra apps...
BTW, ROOT is gone with upgrade, maybe because the way I flash it, or not...
Its safe to upgrade, the rest you can see it by your own
Can you root it?

I already downgrade to V10A, performed factory reset, right now I'm upgrading to V10H and then I'll try to root it again.
I'll post the result

Take a look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1861854
Didn't get it via OTA yet. Are those who got it unbranded? Or are LG apps required (I disabled some of them to save battery, Software Updatre is still alive)?
Unbranded, Germany, no OTA Update available.
Does root still work/has to be rooted again? Please someone confirm this correctly.

I was always a fan of the Euro Open. I'm guessing that there are several battery improvements. As for the camera improvements, I think its just a placebo effect.

Now its rooted but I was only able to do it with the first method, using "IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.apk".
wow the link is so damn fast
going 16MB/second (that means around 16000kb/s) and finished downloading in no time~
I will try flash later tonight and see if its doing any difference
How can I edit the Thread to change the title ???
Just because now its "tested"...

[Q] a NOOB Question about the bootloader~~~~~~~~~

(im new to this forum so i cant post screenshots in my thread)
Unlocking bootloaders and S-Off are different. Unlocking the bootloader just gives you some access to the boot partition, whereas S-Off means you have access to ALL partitions. Unlocking the bootloader is the first step.
With it unlocked, it will say UNLOCKED, and if you lock it back, it will say RE-LOCKED. With proper S-Off, you can downgrade the HBOOT so it will say LOCKED for warranty purposes. S-Off is not yet available for this phone

your reply solved most of mysteries about this subject in my head.now i had a general understanding of what these "terms" mean, just too many of them and causes me a headache...
ok, 1st step, i am doing this!:good::laugh:
Just be careful, check your phone for AL defects before unlocking your bootloader. Warranty is void when you do, unless you can prove whatever defect you send the phone in for is not a result of unlocking, and even then...

You will get the update but not be able to install it if you run a rooted stock rom. You won't be able to flash it unless you unroot and put the stock recovery on. This can be done with a ruu

Read Mikes topic in Android development, I'd recommend reading about it before you touch any of this. Wait for the 4.2.2 update to see if it solves your problem, it should be out soon. If not then I'd say go and root.

Not to mention the entitlement attitude of the OP. Sure, just come into XDA and demand they provide you something. That's how it works.

Official 4.3 VS Unofficial 4.4?

Allright, I've been using Kitkat 4.4.2 for a while now, and it seems like 4.4.2 is slower in applications than 4.3? And also, 4.3 gives me better stats in quadrant than 4.4.2, Why is that? And finally, could someone link me the thread which had everything to get my warranty back. Thanks for help in advance!
