Did you ever figure this out?
Compare the bands of the Sprint Moto X to the bands of ATT and TMo.

My friend has a T-Mobile Moto X I'm interested in buying, however, I use Straight Talk as my carrier (which uses AT&T towers). Can the T-Mobile Moto X be unlocked for other carriers? And does the hardware support all of the correct frequencies for AT&T's HSPA+ and LTE networks?
Thanks

Is it possible to make my Moto X with Sprint to work on Verizon?
Hi,
I have a Verizon Moto X Dev. Edition that I would like to use on T-Mobile network. So far I'm only able to get voice and data by disabling LTE and usting H+. Is there a way to use my XT1060 as a XT1053? in other words are the two models hardware different? or can i install the T-Mobile software and my phone so that I can use T-Mobile's LTE and have voice and data?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Best regards,
Rene

Please see the discussion in this thread -> Verizon Moto X on T-mobile
Today google announced Google Fi and only named the Nexus 6 citing that it could handle both Sprints & T-Mobiles Network. But I want to know if my unlocked (2013) Moto X could run on those networks? The theory being that they might open it up to other phones that can do both networks.
Also lastly I thought sprint was a CDMA network or is that only Verizon?
Thanks for the help in advance.
Does anyone know if the at&T variant of the 2014 moto X has the necessary radio bands to function on a CDMA network like Sprint, provided that it is unlocked.
