Would any body else like top share their build.prop files?
I'd like to see if I could do a bit of tweaking on a sort of not so noob level

Hello everybody!
I'm new to Xperia Z after selling my Galaxy S3. I love my new Xperia Z but the navbar is to big! -.-
Is there anyway to make it smaller? Changing it's dpi maybe? Could anybody suggest something?

It seems as though your only option is to root the phone. That way you can manipulate the navbar any way you see fit. I don't think there is any official way of editing it. Which sucks IMO.

I forgot to add that I've already rooted it, sorry!
I've tried Ultimate Navigation Bar and I don't like it. I just want that original navbar to be smaller

Hi all,
I wonder if you could list any build prop modifications that could be useful for rooted stock users, I know there are a number off minor things that can be changed in the build prop that will enhance/improve performance, but I don't know the lines to add/remove/edit/replace for this device
Please add your thoughts
Have a look in the android software and hacking section, there are several threads on this.
Here is a quick search for them

Thanks Bradley, I have seen this before, but I was unsure if they are all universal or if indeed there are device specific entries for Sony products, hence the thread, I thought this might be useful, my apologies if my lack of understanding renders this topic useless.
mods please delete.

In the user manual it says there should be a small app to block the touch screen for under water use of the camera. Any one have it on their device? Can't seem to find it. Is it on the Z1 so maybe we can pull it?

Is not there. I even found a version on xda but it would force close all the time before even working.
Any other z1s owners have it or can get it to work?

i just find out that the hdr is doing nothing on my stock camera.can someone explain please why? i know that the HDR pictures are more colorful with stronger color and bigger iso...i think.

Stock HDR on every phone is much less colorful then filters applyed after image processing.
It makes difference but not so big as filters from other apps.

Guys i just recently got my z1 and I noticed that there is too much white on my display. Maybe too much contrast. My Xperia mini and Xperia L has better color than my z1 kinda hurting on my eyes. Any possible solution???

White balance in settings
I tried adjusting but the white really hurts. It seems its contrast is too much...
