Which MID do you have?
PN0711 (M7_U): http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_..._10-33-1150-01_release_311663_signed_2_4-exe/
or
PN0710 (M7_UL): http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...1-27_10-31-1131-05_release_310878_signed-exe/
You need S-Off for downgrade, those RUUs will downgrade you to 1.xx and you can then take the OTA to 2.24
Also, if you are already on hboot 1.55 then you first need to downgrade hboot manually before running the RUU (otherwise you'll get error 155): http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/1-29-401-12_hboot_1-44-zip/ (instructions are posted in that page)

Hi guys,
this is the first post for me here, and I hope to find help
Yesterday I got my HTC ONE but I found that the android version is jelly bean 4.1.2 which doesn't contain the IR TV app and the HDR camera option and other thing..
I tried to check for updates and it says that my phone is up to date already !!
I searched the internet for some help if I can download the official 4.2.2 firmware but I found that my phone model is not supported "Model: PN07110 and CID: HTC_332"
I want to update it manually to 4.2.2 and without root if it could
My mobile details:
Software #: 1.36.599.1
CID: HTC__332
Thanks you for responding

Hello Guich,
I recently bought HTC One with the same CID but different model id...
i.e : CID : HTC__332
Model I.D : PN0711000
HBOOT : 1.44.0000
Radio: 4A.15.3250.22
Now i did follow you step by step as carefully as i could because its my first time with changing RUU's, I did root some htc handsets in the past but thats the only knowledge i have regarding android.
Anyways i gained S-Off Using revone and downloaded the RUU you posted, but while installing that RUU i get this error
[Error 131 : Invalid Model ID]
Can you guide me to a specific RUU of my current model or a simpler guide to changing Model ID because the following guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2322820 is too difficult and i cant seem to understand it, maybe you can help me out.. i would be very grateful to you.

you don't need supercid if your actual cid match the ruu. Some ruu require to downgrade hboot to 1.44 so be sure to do if required. (if you downloaded your ruu from htc1guru.com there will be a statement if its required)

You don't need to re-lock your bootloader.

here are some links, if you're going to use a signed/encryped ruu, then you'll need to downgrade hboot first https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407580580

considering you are s-off,
very little, but even with s-off, you will first need to downgrade hboot to same or lower version than the signed ruu.exe/ruu.zip
on the other hand, a decrypted ruu.zip doesn't have that restriction
a small chart is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52135024&postcount=2

So my process will be...
1. Downgrade hboot to 1.44
2. Change back my cid to HTC__002 (when i flashed the RUU from the GPE i changed it to GOOGL001)
3. Flash the RUU zip
Is that right?

you don't have to go back to hboot 1.44
If your RUU is 4.xx flash a 3.xx firmware first
or 3.xx RUU a 3.xx or 2.xx firmware will work.
you may also need the MID change tool if you changed it also

those wont work for you, those are for M7_UL (PN0710000).
if you are on hboot 1.55 then your firmware will be 3.xx.401.x
if you really want to change firmware, recommend you go s-off, then you can flash unsigned firmware... for hboot 1.55 rumrunner and or firewater should work nicely.
I personally use these firmwares: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2365506

a) either you go s-off and flash whatever you like
or
b) you need to find PN0711000 signed firmwares, and flash them incrementally
i recommend option a

Version main ?
Software version ?
On basis of CID no I suggest
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_...0-38r-1157-04l_release_353069_signed_2-1-exe/
But if you have higher no software version you need higher RUU
There are dump files available @ XDA search them
You need x.xx.401.x version

to use ota update, your firmware version and rom version must match. We can't tell you what rom you need exactly because you can't tell us what is you firmware version. Your version number is erased from your getvar (because of twrp recovery) so if you don't remember what rom version you were on before flashing your custom rom, then I don't have any idea of which one you need.
better to go s-off and flash a full RUU.
