Android 1.6 Calendar In Black (Now With Widget)

This will replace the Android 1.6 Calendar and Calendar Widget with dark versions.
Instructions:
1.)Download to /sdcard Black Calendar With Blue Widget[/color]
If you are happy with the blue widget, go to step 3, otherwise go to step 2.
2.)Download to /sdcard your desired widget color:
Black Calendar Widget
Green Calendar Widget
Red Calendar Widget
Purple Calendar Widget
Yellow Calendar Widget
3.)Boot to recovery and flash first Black_Calendar_With_Widget.zip, then without reboot, flash the Black<Color>_CalendarWidget.zip (if you downloaded a colored widget).
4.)Reboot.

Is the Widget Black?

Not yet, that is actually another apk. It is in the works though.

Ohoh ight that's cool. So we can't use this to replace the regular Google Calender? And does this app Sync with Google?

It IS the google calendar, he's just saying the widget is found in an apk other than this one

It is up (with the widget).

How do we go about Flashing this? And nice work man real good I like it.

I seem to be missing the zip, this should be .4 but the only download I see is for .3 (on the website)

Beautiful work fella, well done been wanting something like this for awhile.

No, I was looking at the theme thread (and it points to your website), and all I can get is .3 (may be just me though... I am me after all )

Have you tried making the blue header on the widget black?
Would editing "appwidget_calendar_bgtop_blue.9.png" to black achieve what I am after?

That would be quite simple, I kept it blue because me theme is black and blue. The file is in res/drawable in CalendarProvider.apk. If you cannot edit .9.pngs, let me know and I will do this in black.

The calendar looks nice, it's a little dark though and you cant see the current day's date (black on black).

Flashed from recovery. phone hangs after bootscreen.

Im having a problem theming pop up background colors. For example if you hot the menu button in the browser, you get new windows bookmark etc... the background I have for that is black with white text. However if I hit the more option? It brings up a new pop up menu with the same blavk background but now the text is black and I can't see it.
So my question is what file is it to change that background and where or where is the. Xml file to change that font color to white? Thanks!

Thanks, but I didn't find what I was looking for in that topic.

I'm pretty sure that's either in resources.arsc or services.jar in system/framework/framework-res.apk...I can't remember what sub folder it was maybe values/styles...you will have to decompile them using apktool or some other tool that uses smali /baksmali ... hope this points you in the right direction.

[Solved][Q]Which file to mod to change toggle colour?

Hi,
Which file is it that I need to change in order to make the colour back to blue in the atached image?
In the old firmware the colour in the toggle was blue, now after updating it is white. It is also the same in the contacts/dialer/favourite contacts screen when scrolling left to right between them. Any help would be great as I really want to change it back.

Do you mean the xml files in drawable or the pngs in drawable-xhdpi?
If its the xml's I thought there was issues recompiling framework-res?

i tohught it had to do with sony theme chooser.. if your talking about the color when toggling since that changes when changing the themes.... idk tho

I cant seem to find the ones for the background colour, not the actual buttons themselves...

I only ever have the blueblack theme in my roms....

its in the framework im pre sure its xml or smali idk but the themes are just stupid overlays without them its white so im pre sure in frameworks it has origional theme overlay and it makes everything white:silly:

Regardless of the Sony theme selected my toggles stay constant, that's the switch and switch background.
Ive never seen toggles in contacts etc so im assuming you mean something else, tab selected maybe?

Yeah, the bits in red below showing which tab you are in...Many thanks for the help with this, its been driving me nuts,,,I must have deketed something from my ROM without knowing it...At first I thought it was just the new firmware

No probs.
If you have no Sony themes installed then it will be controlled by the default theme (framework/re/drawable-xhdpi/semc_)
If you do have Sony themes then the overlay you need to change is in **Theme.apk/res/valus/color.xml

See the attached screenshots.
I just edited BlackTheme.apk to "ff0000ff" for display purposes.

I managed to fix it.
I had deleted the semc_theme_wallpaper.jpg from
system/etc/customisation/content/com/sonyericsson/wallpaperpicker/walpapers
so the theme was not being applied correctly. Once i restored it i know have the blue back

It was probably error-ing out and returning to the default theme.

Where can i find the original background colors?

Anyone know in what folder the 7 originall background colors are situated? Have searched thru my gear but can't find them...thanx

When you go in your gear menu...under display you can choose between six colours for the background of your watch...(black,orange,purple,etc...)

my guess is that it's not an image file, but a value coded somewhere, like #ff34500 or something.

Help customize my Lockscreen

Hey Guys,
can anyone help me to get rid of the clock on the lockscreen? I don't want a big ass clock there!!! just a regular clock on the statusbar would be good enough. I just wanna have the Lockscreen to my wallaper.
For any help/advice/tips on how to achieve this I would be very grateful. I hope I don't have to decomplie systemui or anything.... maybe thru the new themes function? I saw they can change the font color and so on... maybe setting it to 100% transparency?
with help of a xposed module called Costum Text I was able to get rid of the text at the bottom saying something like swipe to unlock! U know my s6 is set to german and in german the swipe to unlock text is like 2 full sentences!!! Who needs that? like WTF? as if someone after using his phone for 5 minutes hasn't already figured out how to unlock his phone!!! am i the only one who thinks that about the text @ the bottom?

Haha, luckily for you. I created a small app using tasker to disable the wallpaper and clock and enable it if like. but you need root.
Just unzip the file and install the apk within.
EDIT: Please explain more on how to use custom text to disable " swipe screen to unlock "?

So u just install costum text and choose the app u want to change the text for in this case it's systemui. There u will be presented with bubbles where u can put in the original text that u want to change. Fox example u put in Swipe screen to unlock it has to be 1:1 like Swipe not swipe. And then u just put a blank space in the new text field if u want it to disappear, otherwise u can also put anything u want. Ecall is by law suppose to be there so no. but i can remove the camera...

I've read before that phone is there by law, but I hoped it was not for the international.
Thanks for the "ex-camera" link anyway. It is a start and I'll give it a try first thing tommorow.

Wow so glad I opened this thread! So the only thing that's left is the Phone Icon but i think that can be solved by setting the transparency to 100% of that Icon which should be in systemui or the systemui theme apk... I will have a look at this in few days I need access to a windows machine and I hope samsung uses .png's and not this qmg shiz.... the shortcut will be still intact but at least not visible which is still good enough for me.

Hahaha, very good idea. I hope you succeed because i use themes on my phone. And previously lollipop v5.0.2 I was able to take out the qmg from the theme\lock-1\base.apk and convert to png, make it transparent and put back the png into the apk without decompiling. That work, camera and ecall was transparent. Now if i try it with the new themes on lollipop 5.1.1 the apk fails toe work and the default theme is loaded.
So yes, if you can change the systemui for lock screen then it would be superb..:good:
But i am glad to help.
