go for g-shock! who need to talk to their wrist, check their email or receive live notifications without pulling up your phone. NOONE! GO G-SHOCK GO!

This is like comparing a skateboard to a Lamborghini

Skateboard! You can still use it to travel when the world is infested by zombies and there is no fuel left.

I woulndt want a gshock even if they where free, have owned one in my life and never ever again.. so ugly, so bulky and *beep*.
You know the gear isnt waterprotected at all right ? you cant even take a shower with it, thats how my first gear died You cant compare a gshock to something like the galaxy gear, two very different products.

Irenew? True or fake???

Hello,
So does anyone have purchased the Irenew bracelet?
It claims.giving strength /balance via some sort of new technology and just placed and order and im.starting to think it is fake but not sure if anyone have tried it leaving feedback would be great.
Thanks folks.

It's a scam, and work by placebo. I tried it, and it makes you think it works. The trick where you have your hands in the back, and someone pushes down, at first you don't know how the person will push down, so your body loses balance, but the second time you know what force to expect and your body counteracts it.

iPhone 4 Spontaneously Caught Fire In a Flight

This iPhone 4 started to glow red and smolder with dense fumes in the middle of a flight to Sidney, Australia. Fortunately, a flight attendant stopped it from exploding violently, something that has happened before with other gadgets.

Browsing around eBay for accessories and saw this photo. I laughed for about 10 minutes just looking at the picture haha. They really should have found a larger model.

Best accessory yet!
Finally something we need a bigger model for.
This would be perfect for a NFL quarterback.

I actually got one of those for my original Note. I ended up cutting off the bands and just using it as a waterproof case while running (I mean, leaving it in my pocket) and it worked out just fine. But it was SOOO awkward to wear it!! haha.
That's not the Note 2.... that's the Note 8".:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
I got a chuckle out of that one.
At first, I couldn't figure out what I was looking at, until I scrolled down and saw the description. Couldn't find a lady with a larger arm. Heck, Samsung use LeBron James with hands the size of watermolens to make the GN2 look normal size. Heck, I would have suggested using someone like Arnold "the oak" Schwarzenegger.
I like it! I'm gonna get me one. LOL

Obviously you haven't even experienced this device yet.
I have used it for the past four days and I find it quite useful actually.
Seeing notifications on the watch, after feeling the vibration on the wrist, rather than reaching for the phone constantly, really is useful.
Taking snap shots of photos using the Gear is quite handy and useful.
Using the Gear as a phone while using two hands is quite useful.
Timer/Stop Watch/Voice Memo functions are quite useful and readily available on your wrist, rather than wielding the smartphone, is also useful.
Extending the battery life of the smartphone because you don't turn it on as often to check the time or messages, is quite helpful.
Too many pundits offering opinions rather than facts based on experience...

Said Al Capone :highfive:

Seems like Samsung is listening to owners

I just got recruited for a U.S. study of Gear owners.
Sounds pretty standard - Samsung are trying to figure out to how make things better and paying $200 to participants willing to give Galaxy Gear feedback for about 2 weeks.
Not sure how many they're taking but I spoke to a Jairo Rojas at the research company they hired at 818-530-1004 if anyone wants to get in on it. I got recruited because I also did a focus group in Los Angeles a while back.
Seems pretty cool way to make Gear better and make a little side cash..
So call and ask for ?

I am too old and cynical for this. Could be true, but if they ask for too much personal information, or money, then stay away, is what I would recommend.
If all turns out great, then that would be wonderful, but this is the Internet we are talking about, so be wary.

I know I got recruited because I participated in the past in focus groups with this company in LA so I know they're legit. While not a much fun as beer focus groups, I thought it relevant to share since we all want to see Gear get better.
I'm sure Google is doing similar things with Glass owners, etc. Plus the money never hurts as well.
How
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
many companies are giving a call and asking how did you like their product or service. does it mean they care about customers?
not really. this is the illusion of care...
Focus group are a thing of the past.
Acceleration and Innovation comes with putting a release out there and, test and learn which is what happening with gear 1,and the manager platform.
Samsung is learning now, real time, as everyone uses the products. Gear2 will be a great version. They will pack as much crap in there as they can because, it's setting the bar for the rest of wearable tech.
Gear 2 will be released in September at IFA..

I have some reservations about this statement. This is not the case, as they are trying to keep this product in a certain price point. As with most tech, small and incremental improvement, ie "refinements" are more likely on the future horizon.
