I found the Poetic Palette (says it's for AT&T) case on Amazon and was wondering if it would fit on a T-Mobile G2
Looooove that case....if....it would have fit my T-Mobile G2...poetics ad says "all variants except Verizon" but that isn't true. I ordered one and it didnt snap all the way on. One corner was always floating out of the corner. Such a nice thin case. It is a shame

Do you know why the T-mobile would be different than the AT&T one? Which one would cases for the global model fit on?
Works fine on mine. The only difference I've seen between the two phones is the AT&T has a microphone cut out above the flash.

I picked up a RAZR M yesterday at my local Verizon store. The case selection was mediocre at best. I purchased the matte silicone case, but I've been looking around elsewhere hoping 3rd parties will make cases for this device.
I briefly owned both a HTC One S and One X and I can say that I really liked the TPU cases Diztronic makes. I sent out an email to them asking them if they're going to add the RAZR M to their product line-up.
I've seen a few TPU cases on eBay and Amazon all by the same seller, but they don't look very good in my opinion.
Has anyone seen or heard or any other cases available?
Please share if you have!
Hopefully in the coming weeks us early adopters will have some better options.
Update: Just wanted to let you guys know that Diztronic says they have "no plans" to make cases for the RAZR M.

I did get this for my charge (slightly bigger than the M):
http://www.wirelessemporium.com/p-5...et-carrying-case-for-htc-droid-incredible.asp
although the case was not designed for my charge, it does fit snugly. so I'll assume that the smaller M will fit even better.
I found these, I've never used these sites before though:

Are the Razr M and the Photon esentially the same phone?
Edit: Nevermind that whole keyboard thing is a big difference.
Otterbox has there cases up though

Definitely strange. I called Case-Mate and they said they do manufacturer cases that they do not sell on the website. Again strange. But the customer service rep told me that it's normal and the ones on other sites are legit and authentic. Either way, I ordered one from Tessco. I'd recommend ordering it from there instead of yourwirelesssource.com. It appears they are the same company with the Tessco being the business support division and yourwirelesssource.com being the general consumer division. Better overall price from Tessco.

Grabbed a blue TPU from VZW. And it's awesome. Very slim. Cost effective. And fits tight. Definitely recommend it. $16 well spent. They had a few colors in there.

the case selecton for this phone is horrid, does anyone know of anyone making those 'protective' sticker caes for this phone. i would like to find a case thats less bland so if there is anything interesting out there let me know i can't find anything.

Looks really good! I like the black one. When I purchased my am I also purchased the case with the kickstand built into the back of it and the same day and actually really really love the case, the way it feels, and looks with the phone itself.

I see no problem with making a hole for the buttons. LG already made the QuickWindow case that will be available at start.
There will be a few choices for cases I'm assuming when this phone finally launches. If I end up getting the G2 I'll probably go with Spigen. I mentioned this case in the other accessory thread.
What about Verizon model vs the rest? Keys are much smaller (I'm gonna say shrinking the buttons was equally as lame as the front Verizon logo, hopefully cases will cover that up)
I haven't been able to find anything yet for this other than the Verizon store who said they could order one (Quick view window case) for $50+.

The VZW G2 is thicker than the others and does not work with all the other cases. You need a specific VZW G2 case. I purchased the Poetic case and it does not fit my VZW G2.

I wonder if non-hardshell cases will work... like TPU cases, which are my preference.
So many on eBay from China.
Why do I always get stuck with a phone that never gets any worthwhile accessories? First, the HTC Incredible which was launched and then immediately forgotten about. Then the Galaxy Nexus which suffered the same fate. Now the LG G2 on Verizon with its different dimensions. Makes me want to switch to AT&T before my 14-days is up.
Anybody else notice the lazy design choices case makers are making?
Like this one -> Case-Mate OLO
And this -> Incipio DualPro
They destroy the look with the back of it where the camera/buttons are. Like they just cut a block out and call it a day.
Then don't buy it...

They didnt get lazy with the Verizon version: http://www.incipio.com/cases/smartp...s-verizon/dualpro-case-for-lg-g2-verizon.html
But if you notice, it kinda looks like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drinking_bird
Id rather have the "lazy" version
35 for a case mate or 8 for a case off amazon that's not lazy. I'll take amazon.

Ugh - no kidding! The $5 generic TPU case I got on ebay looks better designed than these!
While you may not like the look of those cases. I can attest that the CaseMate does actually protect the phone. My GNex slipped out of my hands atop an 8 foot ladder. It bounced on a step half way down. And no damage ! Try that with one of those $5 cases.
On another note, I'm still waiting for the Spigen Slim Armor case to come out for my Verizon G2.
It would be nice if Otter Box would make a Defender Series Case for the G2. I prefer protection w/holster.
I have the ballistics case . I think it looks great. A little thick, but I know the phones protected
Sent from my VS980 4G using xda app-developers app
If you guys only knew how much these cases actually cost to make, you would throw up. I know, and it's simply ridiculous.
I won't go into why or how I know, but cases that are selling for $15-30 cost about $0.50-2 max to make. The price to profit margin ratio is even more than clothing which is pretty hard to do lol.
Sent from my LG-D800 using xda premium
What confounds me is how ugly the back covers (the ones with covered buttons) look, with the exception of the ballistics case.
To me the covered button is a must to space out the distance (through indentation) between the lens and the buttons for my fingers. The Case-mate could be nice but just look at the way the lens opening is designed. Pleah.

That's a decent case imo. I looked at it but didn't want the gray color the T-Mobile store has.
LG G2
i just looked on incipio website and for the dual pro, the skus r exactly the same for the tmobile and att version, but when i called them the other day they said the feather shine for tmobile wouldnt fit on att (i have att model) i would love the feathershine but i don't wanna spend the money if its not going to fit properly .. is the att and tmobile version differnt from another? if so, whats different?
After a little searching I guess the phone is slightly bigger then the tmobile/sprint version. But read that TPU cases will fit snug on it. I also read somewhere that the ATT variant has a extra mic hole or something?

I'm pretty sure that International/TMO/Sprint/ATT share the same dimensions, except that ATT has a mic on the back for noise cancellation. It probably won't be a deal breaker.
I was jealous too because Tmobile suddenly got this whole selection of cases available nowhere else. Hella overpriced too.
I got the tech21 flip case and the LG clear view flip from T-Mobile for my ATT G2. They fit great.

So does the case cover the mic on the back of the phone near the camera?
Will T-Mobile fit Verizon...I know the button hole will be bigger, but will it fit? Just curious if anyone know.

Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit Case for LG G2 (Verizon) highly recommended! Fits great and doesn't interfere with my screen protector.

I actually wound up with both this week: the transparent "smoke" Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit, and the black Diztronic. The Diztronic has slight larger cutouts for the small round openings at the bottom, but otherwise the fit is nearly identical. The Diztronic is flat black, except for the lip that retains the phone - that part is glossy. I'll keep the Diztronic and probably use it when out and about on business...it looks the part. But for everyday use, I like the Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit more. It's a great look on the phone, feels great to hold. You really can't go wrong with either. Just that one is a more formal, conservative look.

I just ordered the new PURE GEAR SLIMCASE. It looks promising. It's supposed to be the type of case I like. Two layers fused to make a one piece case. Like the speck and body glove cases. I'm curious to see it. I'll post pics. If someone else gets this sooner please post

I have the Diztronic and the Poetic black cases.
I like the Poetic much much more. It doesn't cheapen the look of the phone and actually enhances the look.
It doesn't cover the top & bottom but that makes it looks better.
The material is great and luxurious. I think LG should use such material in the 1st place.
My wife&daughter are using the Diztronic. Will change them out to Poetic or something better yet.
I have the incipio feather shine for mine and really like it.
Still waiting for Seidio to make a VS980 variant of their Surface case. Using the Incipio Feather until then.
Incipio Feather is awesome. Great quality. Great feel. Great durability. I won't buy another case. After going through tons and tons of cases for all my devices, I landed on Incipio being the best.
