hi , i am using HTC Velocity 4G X710s, according to specs this phone supports 3G on 900/2100 MHz bands (we don't have 4G in our country) and worst of all is my operator is providing 3G on 850 MHz, i don't want to change my service provider, is there any way like flashing another radio(baseband) to get 3G on 850 MHz [if it is not hardware issue]? ... (I know this is most stupid question ever asked on xda)
Telstra in Australia also has 850mhz 3g which the velocity has covered?http://www.phonearena.com/phones/HTC-Vivid_id6516

Here is the radio you requested. I don't know if you'll be able to just fastboot flash the radio.img (usually requires an ENG hboot, but the Junoptbear hboot might have this enabled). If it doesn't fastboot flash, try the PH39IMG.zip
radio.img - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?3cabpowz3hex6dq
PH39IMG.zip (you must rename to that) - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?t0ju933aeoe25ld
Note that this will not install the RIL...so if that's different you might run into trouble here and there. It's always a good idea to match the RIL to the radio

Thanks for the help, but I think I will be getting nowhere because I tried to flash the Telstra RUU but the there was a device id matching error i.e. incompatible RUU , I not understand why because my device model is X710s but the specs mentioned on box state 3G bands 900/2100 MHz

I have a developer edition of the HTC one. I'm on T-Mobile. I flashed the newest radio over from the dev section. I was wondering if someone had the tmobile variant that can dump the radio so that I may test it to see if I can get hspa+ to work on my phone. Thanks in advance!

I want this phone in black, but only the International Version (factory unlocked) is available. However... on the HTC website, the HTC One Unlocked has the correct AWS basebands. What gives? What basebands does this phone have?
Will it work with AT&T AWS? Thank you.

So what I need is the 801n?
Does anyone knows what frequency band the stock rom for this cid supports??
What is the CID/MID to support the LTE 700 Mhz/2.5Ghz frequency? I live in brazil, LTE will be available in this 700Mhz frequency... SO I will change my mid and cid to get this band..

700/850/AWS/1900.
Changing CID/MID will not change the supported LTE bands.

I mean changing my cid and mid, so I flash the correct RUU to match this new CID/MID and use the correct band..

You can't change the hardware with software.
