Anyone know if the Cyanogenmod Installer will be available for this tablet? I would rreally like to try CM11, but I don't want to install a recovery and all of that myself. Or does anyone have a good guide for doing just that, installing recovery etc.?
anyone can confirm that it's working?
I'm still with locked bootloader...
thx
Working except videoplayer crashes when using software decoding. Happenes with any player i tried.
Edit: Works with moboplayer. Probably a problem with players that aren't fully adapted to 4.4 yet?
Too bad because Rockplayer is the only player streaming my videos over wireless without stutter.
great build, but nfc couldn´t be deactivated and drain the battery

cyanogenmod installer won't be coming from FXP as this is an unofficial port.
Installed yesterday, tried with xbmc playback. No FC or restarts with this mediahub/player. :good:
I have tested multiuser, too. Same bug like in all other roms, bluethooth don`t work with the second user. :crying:
Good work!! thx
Does the kernel support OC?
No.

what does it matter? and was i wrong? ive been using cyanogenmod roms on 6 different phones over the course of 2 years. ive had a vibrant for a few months and as far as i have read, gps only works on jvp roms at the moment, so unless the people working on the vibrant for cyanogen failed to put something here about gps then i doubt it works
To sum it up:
BUGS:
-Broken GPS
-Call mute/unmute needed on incoming calls for people to hear you
-Poor battery life (30%-40% idle consumption every 3-4 hours without being touched)
Otherwise it's amazing. Personally I'm using it as daily.

i will agree with broken gps and poor battery life compared to froyo roms. However since nightly 36 mute/unmute bug has been fixed for me, i would suggest a full wipe and reinstall to those still experiencing this problem.
Only persistant (and slightly annoying issue i have) is having to reflash gapps after each update, not a big deal however, only takes an extra 5 minutes.
Other than the aforementioned issues absolutely wonderful rom, i cannot wait to get some smart ass kernels for CM7. Been running cm7 as a daily driver since nightly #8.
Due to an issue with emergency dialing (911), the stable build is no longer supported. It is suggested you update to the latest nightly available until a new stable release is ready to receive this fix. It is very important you do not use these builds, as emergency dialing is not properly functional and could put you at risk.

is this the official thread for this http://10.2.cmxlog.com/?device=yuga?
@didicola Yep, the Free Xperia Project are the official device maintainers for all Sony devices. The builds posted by FXP are done weekly and sometimes contain un-merged patches as well as other experimental features. The builds found on get.cm are built on a nightly basis and are regarded as 'official'. However, they're built from the same codebase so it makes no difference. Hope that clears things up

there must be some king of battery drain with wifi
even if i have the wifi turned off after a day at battery usage it shows the wifi active for that amount of time and the battery draining
the solution i have found is to open and close the wifi again
has anybody else that issue?
(offtopic) to flash 10.1 rc2 i have to do full wipe from cm10.2 right?

I think becase 4.3 is still Jellybean, a dirty flash should be OK. You'll need 4.3 GApps too. I couldn't find a definite answer so I played it safe and did a complete wipe. What a PITA

I can't see why turning the WiFi off/on again would affect that though. I definitely have better battery life on 10.2 than on any of the 10.1 nightlies before I jumped.
I also think there is something wrong with the wifi. When I'am switching from my work wifi to my home wifi it takes a lot of time before the wifi is connected again. In the settings it just says "bad connection". The next time I will look into logcat if there are some entries.

Factory reset, wipe dalvik cache and install 10.2.
Hi mates!
I bought the xperia z a pair of mounths ago, and finally I decided to give it a try to the bunch of ROMs here in xda!
I got very good experience with CM ROMs and PAC in the past with the galaxy s, but I was a little confused about flashing the xperia, as I lose the warranty and could brick it, but I finally did it!
I have tried Stock with Doomlord kernel, PAC and CM10.2, and nothing can be compared to CM10.2. Even Doomlord's kernel is working very well, I prefer the advantages of android 4.3. Even with a battery friendly configuration, it flies! GPU goes far better, and battery too, because you can modify permission by apps, not giving them the chance to access to gps or network all the time wasting battery. I'm trying now qualcomm battery guru, it would help me saving more battery. I think is the weak point of the phone. If I could get 6 hours of screen on, it would be simply the PERFECT smartphone!
Thanks all developers for improving our xperia!

try greenify,
Sony have gone way OTT on the voltages, in everything, screen, cpu and emmc,
I'm using my own cm build with voltage tables for cpu and dropped voltages for emmc and screen, that really does make a difference to screen time on testing so far.
CPU ones make more difference than the others, as doomkernel shows, still trying to find a decent medium with the screen voltages.
If I get something working I'll put a custom CM kernel out.
It would be great to have a custom kernel for CM10.2 !!!
Yes, I noticed better battery life modifying voltages, using only 2 cores and underclocking CPU and GPU in Doomlord's kernel. Nevertheless, I found similar battery performance in CM10.2 even without this tweks, I suppose including them would make it much better.
I have the deffence of the project in mechanical engineering next week, when I finish I will give it a look to these voltages, but it would be nice if you share your custom build, as I am not an expert in android. Thanks!

Hey guys . Welcome to my latest kernel for the Xperia Arc / S. This kernel is created to be able to run the HTC Sense experience on your Xperia handset. Many people will say: What do we need this!? We have no Sense ROM! . They are absolutely correct and that's why I am working on a Sense ROM for the Xperia Arc/S . This kernel works only with Sense ROMs, don't mess around with it unless you are using a Sense ROM. I just published it to help out other Sense-interested devs and make their life easier. The kernel is basically a modified version of the kernel supplied with the CM9 FXP releases (modified by teogoku in his Nova ROM) so it can run a Sense 4.1 ROM (credit to FXP team and teogoku, go hit a thanks button in their threads ). Don't start asking me what this kernel features as I don't fully know nor do I have an Arc/S to test it, so if you want to learn off features, this kernel includes all the features that the FXP CM9 kernel has plus some of teogoku's battery drain reduction mods, also test at your own risk. I take no responsibility for whatever damage/ negative things occur of using my work. Hit the thanks button if I made your day .

Like no network sometimes, random reboots, no sd card mounted.. Will look forward here for this... This might help me in bringing Sense to xperia neo and neo v then..

Yes I editted the init.rc in the kernel to make it work with a sense ROM. I am going to upload the Sense ROM tonight. Hopefully it will boot. Bugs are fixable.

Very good job from what I've seen so far. Maybe cm bugs, but during call can't turn off loudspeaker mod (but if you don't turn it on, everything's ok. Sound buzz while playing music (ram?) through headphones + phone doesn't ring (but notifications do ring)
A friend of mine is interested in using this ROM - I would install it for her if there was a list of known bugs. That said, are there any known bugs?
Also, as a more general question, how come this device is so quiet in terms of development? Has HTC not released the source code or something?

I'm not aware of any major bugs. There are some small problems with audio routing, I hope to have these sorted out soon.
Having said that, if you need to install this for someone maybe they should not be using it. It's still not 100% release quality.
New build. Lots of bugs fixed, hopefully not that many introduced. Product name is changed to "memul", so you'll have to update your recovery. See the TWRP thread for the update.

Good stuff dude, thanks. Is this compatible with the HTC One Remix (the verizon version)? If it is, that'd be really good. The main problem I'm having right now is rooting it, I tried a method that was in a different thread but it didn't work for me.

I'm not sure. It probably isn't. Can you attach the output of adb shell getprop?
is there no need to root for the installation of this rom

No need to root, but you need to unlock your bootloader so you can install a custom recovery.
Hi. Sorry for asking, but any news about updates? Any plans for adding Mini 2 to oficial CM 11 device list?

Will there be a Verizon build for the HTC remix?
Thanks to "u-ra"
Hi,
I got my HTC One Mini 2 earlier this week and first thing I did was unlock it, change the recovery and install CM11.
I just want to say thanks "u-ra" for your work on CM11 for our device.
The ROM works perfect I have not a single issue with it.
regards,
mister.knister

Only if someone steps in and adds support. I'm from Europe so I can't really help you there.

What's the point buying a powerful phone if you not going to use not even half of its capability's?

me too...Why would I use "not even half of its capability's" just because I changed from Stock ROM to CM11?
New build is up.

Or does that one mean that switching to CM11 IS using all it's capabilities?? Dunno... Running the CM11 builds myself and apart from a reboot every 2 days it seems very stable!
Kudos u-ra.
