wifi problem - just reflash kernel and wifi will work ..
for baseband - if you can call that is not poblem with "unknown baseband", i have unknown baseband and everything work good

I'm not familiar with the ROM you flashed, but most likely what you experience is due to incompatible baseband and RIL. When you flash a ROM the baseband remains the same, so you are still on an old GB baseband, but your RIL is made for ICS. Flash a v30 baseband and things should work again. See the baseband overview thread here.

But here is the cache..Now after this when i apply roms using clokwork recovery ...baseband version is shown and it works normally without any problem..and my original imei is also restored.
Is there any problem with the permissions...

[Q] Full signal but not able to make calls HELP

Well i got a problem.
My LG optimus 2x doesn't want to make when it has full signal. And that's ONLY when it has full signal. As soon as I start calling it says call ended. Other people can't call me either. Everything else works fine from internet to messaging (receiving and sending). I have tried numerous basebands (0725 v20q, 0725 v10d, 0218 v10b) and the one I'm on now which is V30A.
I'm currently running stock LG 4.04.
I have tried the phone with a different sim and it still didn't make calls.
Switching to 2G or turning airplane mode on/off doesn't help neither doe turning on wcdma or gsm only signal.
I was installing the basebands with LG P990 All in one ToolKit.
ANY HELP GUYS.
Thanks
Switch to a custom rom ^^
Already tried it doesn't help. I will flash Avatar ROM again but first i want to fix this
Nobody knows? I don't think it hardware since the phone can make calls but only when its not on full signal.
Could it be IMEI problem?
Have you tried a different sim card?
Dial *#06# and see if your imei appears
IMEI problem what do you mean by that?
The IMEI does come up.
And yes i have tried different sim cards with the same result.
Does the displayed imei match with the one printed on the sticker under the battery?
Yep they match.
You have the problem which I had when I was using su660 basebands. As I see you were trying p990 basebands maybe you cold try a su660 baseband. Here's the su660 baseband with it's ril Flash the bb with smartflash, then if you are on stock or stock based rom copy the ril file to /system/lib and set the ril permisson to rw-r--r--
Will try. I'll post back if it works or not.

Looks like i can't past it inside /system/lib because it keeps saying that the system is read only.
Should i Flash Avatar ROM so I have full control?

Of course, flash avatar rom or any other which grant you root acces or just root your stock rom, but if you still have that problem without changing ril it just will be a worthless effort.
If you still have that problem try this. Maybe it wil help. I know it is for fixing some kind of wifi-mobileinternet transation thing, but you can give it a try, you will lose nothing. Read carefully the post. I think there is nothing to worry about. I perfomed erase CAL numerous times without no problem. I would recommend putty instead of Hyper Terminal.
same problem
i am also facing the same problem
rom:- tonyp v4
kernal pengus 124
on same kernal but tonyp v3 rom this problem use never occur if tony or any pro can help me out i love his rom

Erase CAL deletes the calibration data in the radio. By radio I mean that part of the phone which is responsible for catch signal/network. When you perform Erase CAL you lose your IMEI, but you can restore, that forum link I sent describe it how to restore your IMEI after erase CAL.
Answer to your second question: You can only use erase CAL when you flash baseband, and you need stock rom to restore your IMEI.
Why you need stock rom? You need stock rom because it has Hidden menu which is missing from custom roms. Hidden menu is essential to restore your IMEI.
You can find your IMEI on your phone's box or on the sticker under your battery, or type *#06# in the dialer and it will show your IMEI.
I suffered from this problem when I installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus. It automatically enabled its filter and I couldn't make or receive calls, depsite the signal strength or 2g/3g.I disabled the filter and it worked after that. Also, unrelated, but I also suffered from a problem where after a few calls/texts/switching data on/off, I would lose connectivity until the next reboot. I solved it by disabling automatic time and automatically setting the time using the clocksync application from the play store. Hope I helped, good luck.

Messed up baseband

Hello, I need urgent help. I was trying out different ROMs and Kernels for my device, at the end decided to restore the TWRP backof my initial SlimKat installation. I also applied MEOW Kernel, upon boot I found that the device was not recognising any network. The baseband version is showing "unknown".
can anyone tell me how to get back the appropriate baseband for this setup? Last I remember I applied the ftf file for SuperHanss's stock ROM; that had a baseband within it.
Btw network was fine while SuperHanss's ROM was running. It was WiFi that was causing issues.
So I managed to fix the baseband issue. It had nothing to do with baseband.
I honestly do not know exactly what happened, now it is working, but Meow Kernel is not getting accepted anymore.

3. CM11 (Build : KTU84)
Is the build number the problem? Will my problem solve ig i can get th custom rom (build JZO54K) too...?
Please guide...
In cm11 kk mode I see that your baseband is registered as unknown. Baseband is your modem which allows u to receive mobile connection thus data connection. Again I urge you to find and download a modem from all modem thread by spacetaxi, XXLT3 recommended and flash it in recovery. After that recheck your baseband info.
In carbon I see that your baseband is registered properly. Were u still unable to connect to network?
