I know this is a little off topic but I don't know where else to say this. I accidentally entered the wrong info in my signup survey so it now won't give me any questions. Is there anyway to reset my account with the app. Ive look through the revoke access of my google account section to attempt to retry but I cant find it. Any other ideas.

Mine has the same policy. All I needed to do was to uninstall Superuser and the mail system no longer detected me as non compliant. Not sure if it will work for you but thought I would throw it out there.

There is an option "Full unroot" in SuperSU
You can be on any custom rom and get unrooted. Its not neccessary to go back to stock rom to get unrooted
There are some apps not installing, in my phone. Those installed in previous version before master reset after root.

Did you try to re-install them? If you upgrade the firmware, it's normal that files and settings were overwrite, not the apps, for that you need a Web upgrade or a factory reset...

please help
Please help. Problem didn't existed before. Kdz flash didn't help.
Looks like it is a system app. And normally if u delete those u can't reinstall them in the conventional way.
Best thing is. Do not uninstall system based apps. U even should get a warning when uninstalling them. Don't do it.

Make me a favor... flash via kdz with v10a india, download it here:
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/WEBSW/LGP880/AINDBK/V10a_00/V10A_00.kdz
After flash, do a factory reset.
Connect your phone to LG PC Suite and search for "device update" and upgrade your phone.

Isn't there any other way? Cause downloading such amount of data is impossible. What does Dalvik cache clearing do? Do you think, it will help?

yes i do. If that friend wasn't there, i may not see my phone running again. I asked him to download the v10e and he did, and gave some precious time to solve my problem. I am thankfull to him. Thats why i can't ask him again to download v10a. He woun't have time. And he may become angry. And i don't want lose a helping friend like him.

From where I come from, friends are for those things. Thats why we call them friends...
You think that he will be angry or end the friendship because of that???
I find this very annoying. Let's say i reset my phone, or install a new rom. Once i log in the play store just goes ahead and installs all the apps it thinks i want.
Is there anyway to stop this?

Playstore>options>auto update apps
Google Play Auto Update Apps ...
Here is the screen shot ...
Just follow these steps ...
After you factory reset phone, while you are logging in to google account, wizard asks to you, 'do you want to backup restore settings' mostly no body reads like these things and accept automatically. So market re install all applications from market again.
If you untick that setting, you will not get applications.
But do not forget, if you untick backup/restore. Your wifi settings will not restore either.

Well, I did not know that "automatic updates" and "install ALL THE THINGS" were the same option...
Simple explanation would have worked.

Thank you. I found this very helpful. It seems like a weird combination of options to me though. I would like to auto update apps, but i would also like to pick my own when starting with a fresh rom. Can't win them all!
Then, just thick restore everything, after that cancel all updates from play store.

This isn't an Xperia question and will have been answered many times before elsewhere. Short answer is you will need root.

If you're rooted then use Titanium back up, if you're on 4.3 and you don't have use of full root then that may be an issue, but otherwise, this works perfectly.

It matters if you want to back up the data for those apps.
I searched this forum and did not find so here goes. Quite by accident I found on the app All-in-One-Toolbox from the app store, that there was an app2 SD button and not being able to help myself I went down the list and chose a few that didn't matter. Pressed the button and by God it worked! So I did more, and they worked! I haven't rooted yet and if this is old news I apologize, but I sure couldn't find it anywhere. Hope this helps someone

Hi, maybe it's model specific? I'm SM-G900A. You did see edit? and use correct app->> All-in-One-Toolbox? Like I said, I didn't realize this option was on . I was replacing my clean master app that was driving me nuts after upgrading to this phone. So I was setting this up, running thru basics, clear cache, etc., and I found it. Let me know if you have any luck.
