I am new to sprint htc one section...i have recently bought sprint htc one...and i am facing many issues...1) my phone have now 17 gb free space but when i am trying to install new application it s always saying:
Out of space...clear some space and try again..
But the phone have 17 gb free...but still it showing out of space...
2) there is a gpu issue also...when i play low end game like subway surfers temple run for only 2 minutes guyzz read it again only 2 minutes my phone gets extremely warmed....temperature of battery raises to 52 degree celsius...i am in india and i also dont have any sprint service centre in india...
I am on stock 4.3 rom and stock kernel...plzz helppp me guyzz

HI guys hmmm i remember seeing the video of the citadel running on the LG o2x via hdmi on a big screen. It was one of the 1st things that intrested me in buying this device before realised was on iphone. What ever happened to the release of it as was shown months n months ago

Wasn't the Unreal demo for the Tegra2 chipset and not Tegra1?
i dont think it was at game just a demo so people can see how good the grafik can be on optimus
Yes the Unreal ENGINE demo can be seen as a sort of benchmark..
This was really for showing the capabilities of the Tegra chipset.
Maybe soon there will be a game based on the UDK Engine

Ive played around with on my girlfriends ipod and its pretty impressive!! Im just wondering why it never seen the light of day on Android as it was demoed late last year. And as for the question of resets...yes unfortunately do suffer random resets but over weeks not days or hours. Annoying indeed and thats with both stock rom..CM7 and madocco

Hey guys 2day I installed modern combat 3 and fifa 12 I downloaded those
games using Wi-Fi, after it finished downloading I played those games for 5
mins, but if I click the icon 2 play again itz displaying that it should be
downloaded again, plz could any1 help me out.. :'(

Ok... So, recently i just bought this phone for about 1 week ago. And I often (almost every day) use it to play 'heavy games" such as Dead trigger and Heroes call for about 2 and a half hour in total but with 10 minutes break in the middle of the session. And of course just like any other phones it will get hot. But, my question here is. Is there any longterm effect because of this heating issue ? By hot that I've just stated, the temperature would be between 37 - 38 degrees C. And and at one time, I encounter lagging because the hottnes from the nvidia tegra chip (correct me if I'm wrong
Welll, I'm okay with the heat, but what I am concerning right now is the performance of the phone because of the heavy daily dose that it get)
So please XDA help me with these, I've called the Customer Service and all the solution I get was to make a damn BREAK within the game session.

What is your fw version? 10f reduced the heat significantly.

Well, it's say that my current version now is v10e. I've search the Forum that v10f was already out for about 2 months ago and the size of the update is around 460 mb ? But when I check the software update menu on my phone. It was stated that I already got the latest version-_-. I'm in Indonesia btw

V10E is the latest for Indonesia but you can try the Euro_open V10F...

Hello! ill have this phone too on 3 days and i have a friend who has it and he has the heat issue too. I wanna know if the v10f update applies to any other country?. My friend and I are from Venezuela and the Software Uptade says that he has the latest version. Will i have a problem if i apply the v10f update? has it to be applied manually? sorry for my english..

The biggest issue use to be the language but European version have Spanish soo... I think that's not a problem for Argentina. The phone works with all base bands, even if it's not the specific version to Argentina it will work as well. To upgrade you'll need to do it manually and I recommend the v10h, its the latest and I don't have any heat problems. Search on the forum about wich apps you can freeze and un install in order to save battery.

install cool tool then tap on top on "Labels" and check " most resource-intensive process"...then tap main and tap show panel.You will see which procces is eating cpu and you need to find way how to restrict it

I've been always in love with HOT phones, but never got any
maybe Pitbull will use it in a new music video
but seriously speaking, heating is a normal thing to happen with these phones, mine gets so much hot, but the very first step is to compare it with a friend or so,just make sure that it is ABNORMALLY hot, and at the same time, and under the same condition (for example when no app is running on two phones, run a graphic-hungry game to see how hot your and your friend's phone get)
this way you will rest assured that heating is just normal

Yeah the aluminum body conducts a lot more heat. Its should be normal unless you're burning yourself.
My first HTC one did that and then the vibration function would go off by itself. I had to return the phone in exchange because it was vibrating all day long.

Just put it in a case lol, I put mine in a tpu case problem solved lol
What Rom if any do you have installed? Kernel? Your question can not be answered because there are no specifics. If the phone does get hot all the time you may have a problem...warm is ok, but really hot sounds like your cpu is stuck at a high frequency.

Mine gets pretty warm also, even through the case I have on it, so I can imagine its pretty toasty on the aluminum, If it is not causing any problems, don't worry about it...

Please don't use subjective terms like hot or warm.
Use GSam battery monitor or dialer > *#*#4636#*#* > Phone info to see the temperature of the phone.
This phone idles aro around 31 degrees Celsius. The hottest it should ever get (like ever) is around 47. Not sure how much that is in F.
In Airplane mode this thing gets stone cold: around 23 degrees.
This phone can def seem hot but the only way to tell if you have a real issue is if you give us numbers.

Thnxx sir for ur help....sir my phone temp was 36 Celsius but when I used it for more than 10 minutes it was 38.6 Celsius...and sir what numbers are you talking about?? Kernel no.?? I have given kernel no , all on fist page last post....

And Lil Homie, you have no problems. After a long session of gaming, 45 degrees is normal. 39 degrees is A OK for 10 mins of usage, esp if on mobile data.
Guyz seriously need help...yesterday when i operate my phone for only 5 minutes the phone temperatue raised to 49 degree celsius...guyz i dont think this is a joke...now u shud help me..

Until your phone actually shuts down on its own, there is nothing out of the ordinary. The phone supposedly has a mechanism that will shut down the phone when the heat is abnormal. This is according to HTC. Now what is considered "abnormal" is anyone's guess. I personally have heating issues and already swap phone twice with Sprint and both times I was left with another heating phone. If you go in the Sprint Zone App in the Help/dashboard, you will see under the Battery Status section, there are plenty of overheating alerts. But even then, HTC and Sprint claim there are no "issues" per se.
So bottom line is, either you learn to live with it, or you change for another phone. This may very well be an issue but if HTC won't admit to it, you're pretty much stuck.
