Hello all,
Today I bought my flaming HTC One and I'm very happy with it
I cone from a long Galaxy as series (1,2,3 and also tried 4) but now they bored me
I bought my One with a carrier,Tim ,and need to know 2-3 thing
1) to debrand it,I just need to unlock bootloader via HTCDev and then root, custom recovery and flash custom ROM? Is fine this way?
2) I saw that s-off is coming, can I always do it if I unlock previously via htcdev?
Thanks a lot and sorry if I being noob

The best guide for a walkthrough, imo, is this one:

Also, you need to flash a custom recovery before you root.

I just unlocked the bootloader on my HTC One and installed a custom Rom (viperone).
Is there a way to remove that annoying message on startup about developer mode ? Thank you

read this thread:

Word of caution though, Know what you are doing if you decide to go for it.
Read it carefully, as it CAN brick your phone.

As long as you relock, no. That message shows up with an unlocked bootloader.

Search for one of the numerous threads on rumrunner.us - it's all there
Hi,
I'm looking for a Android 4.1.2 Sense ROM in order to be able to put the phone to S-OFF mode. I've been struggling for hours in finding a way to put the phone i S-OFF mode and after this search I realized that the only way is to have an older version of the os. could you please send me a link to a 412 rom?
thanks,
M.
Mate, the version of the rom doesn't matter.
You have to see the version of your HBOOT.
If your hboot is 1.54-1.55-1.56, you have to use rumrunners.
If it's 1.44, you can use revone.
and easy on the double posting
if you dont mind

I'm using revone. Bit revone works only if the ROM is 4.1.2...

Well, probably you don't know, but revone works only om 1.44 Hboot.
You have to check the versio of your hboot, not the version of you rom...
If you hboot isn't 1.44, you have to use rumrunner.
Seems i'm using my One

The 1.xx.xxx.x are the 4.1.2 rom.
However you can also try the ruu
Hi everyone, I want to relock my bootloader but I don't have any clue on how to do it.. I think I need to give him a fastboot command but I actually don't know where to start. Is there anyone willing to explain to me step by step.
And how come funkyhuawei didn't include the relock in the tool? Thanks in advance

So, I managed to relock the bootloader with the all in one tool.. Now a further question: with the bootloader unlocked both with 152 and this 156 I had WiFi calls, as soon as I relocked they disappeared. Any clue about why locking the bootloader made this change?
