How do get rid of all the ringtones that been picked up by Walkman app.?
It is a total mess, funny because it's not happening on my 2 previous Xperia devices, even any mp3 player downloaded from store knows how to differentiate this. Help please, it is a Hell of a mess when you try to play all of your collections randomly.

Search the folder with ringtones and take a .txt file in it which is called .nomedia
Maybe you have to restart your phone..

Thanks, really appreciate your attempt to help, but dude, I don't understand a word you are saying,sorry, don't mean to be rude, maybe you could elaborate a little?
A little wonder, assuming all you said is working, will soundpicker will still recognise the file, need all the tones still, just not in Walkman.
And since I'm here, I'm on 4.2.2 for that matter, and also, do you have any idea why does my lockscreen keep that stupid instructions of sliding up or down to unlock, like I don't know that already.

Haha no problem :good:
Step 1: Make a text file which is called .nomedia
Step 2: Search the folder with the ringtones(It's somewhere in the internal storage^^)
Step 3: If you have found the ringtone folder, copy the text file (which you have called .nomedia) in it.
Maybe you have to reboot your phone.

Ok, I gave(?) a look on it. I need a bit time.
In the recources file in the apk is the text written.
But why I can see this text only if I open the file with the phone?
If I open it with notepad on PC I see chineese or symbols..
There's a lockscreen apk here that has been edited to remove that text.
The available modded apks say they are for 4.2, but I'm not sure which firmware version they have been tested with.

I'm just wondering if that is a way to change the animation on these popup messages.

yep saw that. and I downloaded all the save data still it has that issue where all the map goes black.

EA Free games
I saw in Sony Select that I can install any of the EA games free for 90 days. They are 90 days trial but not demo. I installed NFS most wanted from there directly and didnt saw a problem. I works great.
And free 3 months is already enough for a game

Yeah I had the same thing, but it was gone once I restarted the game.
For some reason it says it's not compatible with my C6603. :/

Does anyone know if there is a way to add a personal message to the bootanimation, so i could put my phone number, in case i lose my phone?
I figured out a way that looks like it should be possible, but i havent tested:
in /system>media, there is a zip file called bootanimation.zip. inside are a whole lot of images, which going through quickly or in a fast slide show makes the bootanimation. my thought is that if one were to edit those pictures, say using paint, then the bootanimatin would now include your personal message. you would have to make the exact same edit in each picture, but i think it might work. anyone willing to try it out? if you do, please post your results!

i'm just worried that if i meddle with the zip, i might get a bootloop or some other issue, and i dont have the patience to backup, stock rom-ify, re flash my rom, and restore the backup! :laugh:

Have anyone be able to find a working apk to reduce dpi kn nav bar. I have try all i could find for s8 and s8+ non of them work with note 8. Is there any avail?
I found one that reduced it to half the size.. I do not take credit. I think I found it on xda for the note 8 but here it is.

Don't quote me on this but I think it's in apps as Android.TigerhoodsOverlays now. I installed the mod and it disappeared from my apps but this one showed up so I'm guessing that's it.
