Hi
Unfortunately I can't post messages to Hashcode's topic on new CM11 software for KF HD.
So I'd appreciate if anyone can submit 2 issues with this image:
1) Google Hangouts app crashes when I'm trying to connect using camera
2) Tethering via bluetooth (with my cellular - Motorolla Razr HD) doesn't work. I've used different combinations
of firmware settings, FoxFi, PDA Net for tablets - nothing helps.
Thanks

For using a cellular as bluetooth modem BlueVPN app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bluexvpn) works fine for me with PAC-Man ROM (not CM11 yet), but in the playstore description the developer points that it doesn't work with Android 4.4 (so probably neither with CM11) due to an VPN issue. He includes this two links for more info:
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=62714
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=61948
Which method/app do you usually use to connect you cellular as a bluetooth modem?

This is the first 4.4 KitKat (CM11) build and it's still in it's infancy. I would bet things will get worked out with further builds. I would say for those that want everything running just so, stick to a 4.3 JB build yet.

LinearEquation, thanks for a reply.
I clearly understand that the first build will always be buggy. And the issues will be sloved next releases.
My post was for information only - point out that smth goes wrong.

Hmm, has some one tryed to flash this ROM and after that flash latest baseband from v10c?
Since the ROM is ported and US is using a different radio hardware it might work to change baseband after flash?
Or am i totaly wrong here

Not compatible?
Interestingly, the Play Store returns "no results found" when attempting to get AniBoot on my 'phone, and trying through a computer (via the supplied URL) I'm given this pearl of wisdom when I try to install: "This item is not compatible with your device."
Tried with two I9023s, one running CM9 and the other JellyBelly.

For everyone running jellybean and such, It won't work due to permission errors that won't stick with su. (I'm having the worst luck with chmoding the system right now, don't ask me why it's not working cause i have no freaking clue.) But it will work for cm9 and below.
I don't remember if i actually took it off of the phone because a lot of gave the app bad reviews on that single device. That is why it doesn't say that. Is it confirmed that it was working previous to the change? If so, i'll put it back up.

Thanks for the update. The flavour of CM9 I'm running (for the next few days, until I upgrade that 'phone to JellyBelly too) is a Kang concoction, which I suspect contains more JB than ICS (the Android version shows 4.0.4, but clicking on it to get the "Easter Egg" reveals the JB screen).

I can't confirm or dispute that, as this is the first time I've come looking for it. Prior to now, I've just been manually pushing boot animations (both self-created and downloaded from various sites including XDA) with ADB.

This ROM is old and out of date. There are no download links afaik. This older version of ICS has no hardware acceleration. Please try out a newer Jellybean ROM such as AOKP or CM10.
Thanks.

No with this ROM, it's based on AOKP. Only Stock based ROMS have hardware acceleration, for now.

If the original aokp works then I see no reason why this wouldn't work.

The model number thing is not a problem. You can change that in the /system/build.prop by deleting the 3 at the end in wherever you see GT-P3113, and then save your changes. You can use rootexplorer or es file explorer.
Thank you for sharing the fact that the rom works on your tab. Could you share what does not work?

That is not to say it does not install. It does, and there were no errors, no fcs.
To understand what I mean, you have to install it, and see if you can keep it a day, unless you have backed up or have a sources for the custom apps that you expect in a rom, other then the ones you can buy or download free in the google play.
does the lack of hardware acceleration with this ROM have a huge effect? is it major? minor? the same?
Thanks in advance.

None of the custom ROM's for this tablet have hardware acceleration. It doesn't make a big difference to me. It prevents Google Chrome from running. That's my only complaint. Chrome isn't worth keeping it stock and slow IMO.

Flashing right now, will post back in a few hours and let you know how it is running.
Edit: Flashing was smooth, installed the MIUI theme from goo.im and then reboot and am getting constant FC's on com.android.phone. As soon as I hit okay to accept it another one pops up. I am not sure if this is theme related or the ROM itself.
Also, there are no GAPPS included but I found them here: http://goo.im/devs/ChameleonOS/gapps
Edit 2: I tried installing the GAPPS from the above link and got stuck in a bootloop.

Check that you actually enable root, its not enabled by default so go into about phone and tap build # until it says you are now a developer to unlock the development settings where root is.

@cj360 any way u can build this for the mb886 because the xt925 build works great but auto rotation and data wont work properly
Sent from my MB886 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Obviously cause its a different device. But I would rather help someone else build it as xt926,xt925,xt907 have one or two changes between them and when things work on one they'll work on all three and vice versa. As well as I just dont want to build for more than three devices.
Thanks mate, now my only problem is thoso random reboots when I try to listen something with a bluetooth headset
