I have my SN2 for 10 days and i am using a tpu case from day one..today i found marks on the metal coat . Can i remove these marks?
nope, there will be some small marks, had it on my SGS2, still better than having no case IMO, after 1.5 years the marks didn't increase a bit. Planning to get a case for the Note 2 anytime

What sort of mark is it? A scratch? A dot? Or what?

They are dots but not deep..
Photos please. I like to use TPU, but am wondering what it does to this device.

I have just found a dot on mine too...but it doesn't make sense to me how the tpu can be the cause of it...but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there when I first got the phone

The TPU cases will scratch your phone's outter body, and there is no way to remove it but it will protect your phone.
I haven't had a device with Chrome Trim since my Touch Pro 1. I can see how little bits of dust can get in between the tpu and body of the phone. Some slight rubbing can cause the scratches I suppose. I haven't seen any on my last 3 devices, but then again they were dull/semi gloss black.

But why? There are only dusts between the tpu and the phone , so what is scratching it?

Dust with include microscopic bits of grit - this is the culprit
I guess ideally you can use one of those clear skins on the body of the phone. Then use the tpu. No scratches anymore.

Had the same problem with the s3 and original slim cover

can we see pics? Better to know how bad it could get before I cover mine up with a TPU case

I've had the ONE about a week and I've been babying it until my case arrives this coming week. Well I noticed today there are surface scratches on the screen already. I thought the gorilla glass would be better but damn these scratches are annoying me... Lol my ocd I guess. Any way to get rid of them or do I have to live with them forever. Thanks

You can't get rid of them but if you put a screen protector on it will hide them.
I've heard if you always clean your screen your more likely to get scrathes! Having a oily screen helps fight scratches by creating lubrication when your fingers are swiping etc.

Yuck. I like my screens naked!

I cleaned it once with a cloth to clean glasses. But other than that it's just been regular use. Well as long as I try to forget and not pay attention hopefully it won't bother me. Thank ya for the replies.

As I stated in the thread I started about screen protectors. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447683I can only comment on there screen protectors. I dont care for them because they are a wet application and they have a rubbery feel to them I think. And from what I had on my Rezound you could tell it really took away from the clarity of the screen. I do like the fact that they cut out the holes for the camera and sensors though. Instead of just notching it out from the left side of the camera to the right side of the ear speaker.
I just noted this after taking the tpu case out of the phone. I don't know how this happened but I guess it was bent when it was in my pocket.
My screen didn't shatter but its also bent. Any suggestion to keep it like this and not to get worse?
I was thinking in buying an UAG Case or similar to protect it from bending more. A clip protector outside my pocket is not what Im looking for, I'm 16.
