[Q] No data signal at all X8 - PrimeHD v9

The title says it all. I have no data signal at all. I'm running PrimeHD v9, stock kernel, 11w50.
Today it just dissapeared. I was using my phone pretty normally, and today suddenly data stopped to work. I've tried full wipe, wipe dalvik, wipe cache, reflashing primeHD v9, i also tried prime HD v7, and stock 2.1
i've done some search on this forum and i also tried the getprop ril.MSL thing, and tried my SIM card on the other phone where 3G and EDGE worked normally
please help, my x8 without internet is useless
wow 11W50.
Mmm. try repair/update your phone to 2.1 with se pc companion, then root and install recovery and flash primehd. Should works!
maybe you must check your APN setting and your wireless settings..
try to flash the kernel again..

Need help here..
my SGSA keep showing that ANDROID IS UPGRADING,STARTING APPS after reboot and when i try to turn off and turn it again it shows the same thing.
Is this the 'side' effect after use [shut_down TransparentBar+RippleUnlock-CWM ]?
I'm just asking,not blaming anyone.
BTW, [shut_down TransparentBar+RippleUnlock-CWM ] is cool and great.:laugh::victory:

No, not all the time. Just when I wipe dalvik cache and on first boot after. Try to do that, like Frapeti said.

Go to CWM, on first page there is wipe cache - do it. Then go to advance and there is wipe dalvik cacke. Do it too. It should do that thing on start one more time (because wiping dalvik) and on others it will not.

Do not know. You tried to flash firmware again with Odin and do factory reset?
Afaik, the tz kernel must be having some zipalign script. The script must be causing the issue!
I do not respond to tech support via PM

I am using it, and do not have that problems. Like I said, that happend just when I wipe dalvik. And when put some new apk in system/app (and I do have zipalign script in init.d folder).
When u used tweak app such as: android tweak, android tuner or tweak init.d script or put system/app . Jb always display upgrading appp LOL

is the process working in your status bar? if so, hold click on the process from the status bar, app info will appear, click on it and FORCE STOP or DISABLE app. That's how i managed it. I'm allso on Thunderzap kernel.
Hope it helped!

Sent from my GT-I9070 using Tapatalk 2
the message occurs to me everytime I use deodexed ROM, ie. immediately after flashing deodexed system and apps, the first enter into GUI takes couple of minutes - there's a window with text "optimizing application x of y" but on later reboots it just appears for a short while without numbers.

Good luck man do your experiments as i cant help you
but there is universal solution called factory reset and reinstallation
reboot into cwm recovery
- advanced - format data/media
- format data / factory reset
- wipe cache
then flash CM and GApps again.
But remember: Before formatting the CM and GApps must be on your extSD card
And don't forget backup

Probably if you Repair via PC Companion you will lose Root so I think there is a problem with the Rom. Try instal it again and wipe everything.

It will be close to impossible as the issue can be an App that causes the problem or can be the System corrupted. Also you are using a Pre-Rooted Rom so repair with PCC can complicate the situation. I don't see at the moment any other solution. Maybe someone who had this problem know how to fix it, if so.

I know this sounds weird, but try clearing your hosts file. /system/etc/hosts. Open it like a text file (any root explorer would work). Either delete it or just delete all the text inside it and reboot.
