You may be the only one interested in using it. The only method I've found to port stock ROMs is this. You are able to do it yourself, and you can post it in our development section. Just don't forget to post with the [PORT] tag in the title so as not to mislead people.

Thanks :victory:. Il try to port it this weekend.

Gingerbread on HTC Desire C

First off I'm new here so hi guys
Just wondering if there are any Gingerbread roms for the HTC Desire C? I am interested in making a speed and battery life comparison for myself rather than asking people. I have tried installing CM 7.1 and 7.2 (they produce a black screen on boot even with correct boot.img).
I apologize in advance if a thread did slip past me, I *did* use the search function, can't find anything else though.
Thanks

Ahh right okay, no wonder I couldn't find anything
Thanks
Anything is possible, if you put your mind too it, however to even think about attempting this, we need the full kernel source from HTC, click the image in my Sig to find out what all this kernel business is about and how you could help out the cause.

I say, is not posible Cm9, is not posible another rom no-based on Sense.
Is not posible for now.
And if it is posible, developers won´t dev for Gingerbread I think

Wrong section mate I don't know personally, there has been no mention about a leedroid rom. He has a twitter account, if you have one maybe ask him on there

Leedroid has retired from ROM development due to personal issues. He may return, but at present it looks like he's out the game for a while.

Need help with ROM

Hello,
I have a HTC Desire C (HTC Golf) and I would like to install the custom ROM HTC Desire C Explos!on, but the links seems to be dead. Please somebody could refresh the links ? I have already unlocked my phone, so the missing part is the ROM and a compatible version of ClockWorkMod.
Thanks in advance
The developer stopped developing this rom

Install revolution or CM :good:
Thanks for your answer, but I prefer this one. I will try to ask the author.

Explos!on Rom was origanally built to mimic CM9, CM9 has most of the same feautures, however if you like wifi, RevoloutinMod desense is close the Explos!on Rom!! And TWRP is better then CWM and you can find it in the Origanal Android Development section, or use Hansoon 2000's all in one toolkit
And you can't change the theme ? I find the orange of Revolution rather aggressive.

I'm not sure Revo has theme support /: you can either flash CM10 or Evervolv which are 4.1.2 Jelly bean with theme support but wihtout WiFi, or Revo with no theme support and WiFi...
Evervolv seems pretty awesome but I remain faithful to HTC Sense, and orange is not so bad. I will flash my Golf with Revolution.
Thanks for your advices

If you would like, i could port you a sense rom over from Pico? without the orange? haha
Don't forget about the blue sense theme for the revolution sense edition! If you don't like orange then use this one made by mazer.one!

Uh sorry I did not understand your joke, I don't know what's Pico. If you saw the video next to the registration, I am a noob.

Great idea, Pico is another similar phone in which i can port ROMS to our phone from, they have some custom sense roms, if youd like i could port on e over, unless WiFi is a big must for you, in which case Mazers theme would be great for you
Pico is HTC explorer, which is so very similar to desire c that we can kang a lot from there. Though not the Wi-Fi drivers :'(
And you can install the stock HTC sense theme on revolution, no worries search for the v5 customiser or choose stock theme while installing the Rom

[ROM][DEV][PRE-INFO] AzoneMOD (FirezoneMOD)

Dear XDA community,
I have the HTC Desire C sold on this day to me about it to buy an iPod Touch. This means the end for the development of FirezoneMOD for Desire C!
As a MOD based on the Kindle firmware would be interesting, but I unfortunately can not develop, but I hope you can do it.
Important information about FirezoneMOD:
-In the early versions it was based on CM of cute_prince, later the complete Kindle source code should be used!
-As solid components integrated the official Kindle Fire should stock apps!
You get the stock apps below:
http://www.amazon.de/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201055910
Thank you for your understanding!
marizz
(All the ROMs have to be based on this concept have cited as the source marizz! Thank you!)
Ok i think the libraries associated are absent in rom.
Contact me or any dev hge may help u
I'll help

Just need the proper list of mods.
Willsearch today i am free.
Full even small.
Slightest things sure to work can also cause probs
go on dev-ers
for that at least need the rom
I will try to publish a first DEV build on Saturday.
The basis of the ROM is the current Kindle Fire ROM.
For this to work on the Desire C. I use (yet!) CyanogenMod 10 of cute_prince!

Try poirting kindle fire stock 4.1.2 rom
this will be a gud base.
but keep in mind porting here will be difficult as you will have to find some libs . required for certain apps to work properly
For now, I'll use CM10 of cute_prince, later you can try to port the stock ROM on Kindle Fire.
I think what you mean is, instead of CM10 to use as a base AOSP ROM (original Nexus).
What do you think?
What should I use as a base?
1.AOSP
2.Cyanogenmod
3.Kindle Fire Stock ROM
desire c cm 10
port stock rom
can you provide some screen shots?? even from other devices... for us to see what is azone mod...
I'm going to install Ubuntu today so that I can continue programming AzoneMod!
Screenshots will also follow!
AzoneMOD, however renamed in FirezoneMOD!
Unfortunately I can not currently post in the Android development forum, even embed an external link, because the account is too new! As soon as I am released, there will be a post in the Android development forum!
I will release the first alpha of the ROM today so you can test this!
However, there will be significant problems with the representation and the speed! Please note also that the phone function and any other SIM options are not currently supported by the ROM (since the Kindle Fire has no phone option!)
Many things are better shown when the phone is held in landscape mode! Many of the integrated apps crash, do not start or run unstable.
The first version of FirezoneMOD still based on CyanogenMod of cute_prince, but is planned later switch to AOSP ROM or the floor of the Kindle Fire!
You can download the first build you expected at 18:00!
As a hoster will come mega.co.nz used because in this moment the fastest Hoster. Should anyone dare not mega.co.nz, he can also take over a dh.st link the file! (I know d-h.st is slow!)
Please note that the Kindle Fire is a high-end device, unlike the Desire C. Therefore, the ROM does not run nearly as smooth as on the Kindle Fire. I'll try not to increase the speed!

I think sense 5 is hard to port... about the jelly bam just find a hdpi device... no need to resize... and I think no need to edit on build.prop
@Shad0wPanda
If you need anything testing let me know.
Happy to help.
Well guys, Desire C has greater chance of getting stable Sense 5 than our Explorer. You know why ? Desire 500 uses the same BT and WiFi (ath6kl_sdio.ko) chip which is used in Desire C too. Also you are lucky about camera. Your camera sensor S5KE41 has got official ION support too. About the DPI, although resizing is required Desire 500 framework already supports MDPI.

Well I saw you guys already ported, would it be easier to take the port straight from the Desire 500 or from you guys? Also which like base ROM should I use? I know sense is ported differently, but which files should I use to replace? Cm10? Cm10.1 or stock?
Noob question but never ported sense before, however if I get a tester, I'll make this my project for you guys

Hi @Shad0wPanda,
While you're absolutely fine to go ahead with the Sense 5 port, we can't allow you to post a port of JellyBam. If you (or anybody else) was to post a JellyBam thread we would have to close the thread immediately as it's prohibited. The reason behind this is that the developer of the JellyBam ROM is banned from XDA and therefore so is any of his work.
Thanks for understanding,
- KidCarter93

That's kinda the idea, but we need to have an ION kernel, however I have no knowledge, so I guess we would have to call on the busy mind of @cute_prince to see if he could getbus an ION kernel first, and then I will port sense 5 using the 500 dump, as was originally planned
He hasnt even finished the CM7 kernel

started DeOdex and also @cute_prince when are we getting 2.6 kernel as im no good with kernels
