[Q] TSM UltimateKangBang 3.5 on Incredible S

Has anyone else tried this ROM from the Droid Incredible 2 section?

It seems like we can install it and make it work on our device. I tried it and the only problem is that there's no network. It's probably because the ROM is for a CDMA device.
Do someone know if there is an easy way to make the network work?

I installed it yesterday and haven't had any problem so far. It installs without problem, just take some time to boot but then, when you follow the step for it to work on gsm, everything works fine
Wifi, camera (with or without flashlight), camcoder, bluetooth, backlight (+rotation) work fine. I will still try wifi hot spot and some other little things

7.00.0000 but it will probably work on 6.13 too
btw nik's ROM is out

never figured UKB would work on vivo w/o significant changes, but i guess the init is close enough between vivo and vivow on the 3.0.16 kernel it does
was kind of suprised to see in my thread some vivo people, but its nice

Is it just me or is bluetooth not working in vipervivo 1.3? It seemed to be working great on 1.2.1.
I'm running on beastmode too, so could this be a kernel related issue?

It should be the same, I don't think nitsuj touched blouetooth files. Were you using the same kernel on 1.2.1?

I was using the same set-up (venomBeast) and that was what i thought initially, but...
i see you are also using a venombeast 1.3, is bluetooth working fine for you?

Have Same problem Bluetooth shows its on , but cant find bluetooth handsfree ,( even if its right beside the phone and set to visible to others)
Yay , did as M4ttz said and re-installed and made sure clean install , now everything works perfect!!

The only thing that doesn't work for me is personal hot spot. Just try reinstalling the ROM.

I have the rom running with beastmode and almost everything is working flawless with the exception of native hotspot. But currently using wifi-tether app by treve mod and is working great.

thanks for all the input guys. it seems to me to me that tomorrow will be a reflash day. )

Is viper rom Compatible with team Seven?

I want to have sense 5 to be one 4.2.2 so that's why I want viper rom but I also need the htc logo menu hack from teamseven is this possible? If not what other kernel let's me have the htc logo hack but is compatible with viper rom. And finally I hearD that viper rom is very glitchy if that's true then is team Seven compatible with android revolution?

I believe it is compatible. Flar2's Bulletproof and ElemenatlX kernels both work great with ViperOne and are highly recommended. Both have,the logo to menu function.
I do not know where you heard Viper is glitchy, have been using it since the day it was released with absolutely zero issues. Tons of customization, great and supportive devs, and rock stable. I highly recommend it.

I would backup my apps with Titanium, install the Rom with a full wipe (won't touch your SD card with Viper), flash the custom kernel, then restore my apps with Titanium.

I have clockwork mod Is this still possible?

Viperone also comes with venom hub where you can flash compatible kernals just open go to downloads then kernals think they have 5 or 6

Okay so I did a data/factory reset and when I try to install through ADB sideloader It gets stuck at flashing Kernel.
Is the viper ROM Compatible with AT&T? All I see is stuff about Sprint. Can you link me to a AT&T download please.

Where are you looking at and getting ViperOne?

That is the link, and it specifically says its Not for Sprint. That is the AT&T download. You have to flash version 1.0 first, reboot, then flash the 1.0-1.21 update.
Also, why are you sideloading? Just download 1.0, reboot to recovery, and flash the file thru recovery. Unless you wiped your rom in the first place, no reason to sideload.

I ran Into a minor problem. IT asked me to sync contacts but I hit no. Now I want to sync. MY gmail account says it has like 200 contacts and my phone says it has like 180 but They don't show up in my phone app.

I think just delete your Google account from your phone, then add it again.

Okay well Everything Is working all the roms It seems titanium backup lost my backup probably because I did a factory reset.

I'm glad everything is working! Sucks about titanium, but you can get past that, even though its a pain. Have fun playing with Viper, there are a ton of tweaks and customizations to try out! Enjoy....

I've noticed that my phone overheats now. at times around 105*F But then I went to the teamSeven aroma installer and put medium throtteling now phoen is a bit better but still gets pretty hot. Is that normal?

devs my sprint htc one with android 4.3 was running very smoothly and fantastically until there is an kitkat update. i downloaded the update and phone bricked in installing the ota. however i ran O.M.J. ruu and everything returns back to stock 4.3 version 3.05.651.5...
BUT.
now i am facing a big issue of htc one.. before ( when there was no kitkat ota) my phone was running on android 4.3 and there was no issue of microphone...but now when i ran the ruu and factory resetted my phone two times i am experiencing a big issue-
WHENEVER I CALL SOMEONE MY VOICE IS NOT AUDIBLE TO THE PERSON I AM CALLING...I HAD DISCUSSED THIS ISSUE IN VIPER ONE 5.0.0 THREAD BUT NO LUCK..AFTER A LOT OF SEARCHING I HAVE COME TO THIS THREAD...PLZ GUYZZ HELP ME BECAUSE I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING BUT NO ONE IS ABLE TO HEAR ME WHEN I AM CALLING...EVERYONE SAY THAT MY VOICE IS COMING FROM FAR AWAY..I HAVE CHECKED THE MICROPHONE WITH RECORDING .. Try holding the phone different to be mindful of the mic on the back, see if it improves.

sir tried everything from holding the phone at different angles to covering the back mic...but no luck...sir previously when i have not got kitkat ota notification there was no such issue...but now it is there...sir but my mic is working i have tested it by recording and laso ran htc function test....plz sir help me

Try formatting data in recovery. EVERYTHING on phone including pics/downloads will be erased so backup to comp. You will need to sideload a rom to get up n running. If problem is still happening it's safe to say it's a hardware problem.

thanks sir for your rply...sir i have already factory resetted my device using terp three times and also performed advanced wipe in twrp but no luck...and sir if it is a hardware problem the microphone should not be working...people can hear me when i call someone in loudspeaker mode...anyway thanks sir.

So you did format data under advanced already? Not wipe data.

If you are on a kitkat based ROM you need to upgrade the firmware, I was having problems with ViperOne 5.0 and making calls as well but you must make sure and upgrade the firmware to the latest RUU then re-root phone... I hope this helps, I had this problem and this solved my issue!

Completely forgot to ask him about firmware...If everyone would upgrade firmware, radios and s-off if available there would be much less clutter around xda.

bro i am on android 4.3 now...i have ran O.M.J.'s 3.05.651.6 ruu and now i am on firmware version 3.05.651.6....my baseband radio version is 1.00.20.1108...plz give me the link for latest firmware...thanxx

Why don't you update to 4.06 based 4.4.2 ROM? Maybe the radio is not liking the older 4.3 ROM. I would say RUU with the 4.06.

sir i had run the 4.06 ruu (o.m.j) and still this calling problem is there,,,,i have flashed 4.06.651.4_firmware.zip not 4.06.651.4_modified firmware.zip...what should i do now??flash the modified firmware??

I have this problem too. What I've found is that the noise cancellation for the HTC one is interfering only with phone calls. Speaker works fine. Here's what I did to fix it. This worked on an AOSP rom, but doesn't seem to work on Viper ROM. Below is what I posted in another thread.

Here's what I did to fix my Sprint HTC One
I went into system --> build.prop
I changed persist.audio.handset.mic=digital to persist.audio.handset.mic=analog
Reboot
This solved my issue after I've tried many things. Here were some temporary fixes that worked for me before I found this permanent fix:
Screaming into the microphone for around a minute. After that, the rest of the call seemed to work. Note: The microphone is on the bottom, underneath the bottom speaker.
Covering the second microphone that's on the BACK of the HTC One (you'll see it in the top right). That helped as well.
I hope this helps someone.

I've been using viperone Rom for about a week...I realized one day when I make a call there is no audio on speakerphone or jus regular speaker....I have extensive experience...did reset wiped and all that good stuff...I thought maybe it was the phone...so I installed cyanogen mod...but the call audio works fine...so I figured that I fixed it by resetting and installing a diff rom...so I install viperone Rom once again...and I have the same problem...what the hell is going on...and I kno I can't be the only one, but I don't see any other topics about this...please help.......
Ok. I jus realized it works with a headset....when unplugged..same problem....when I hit speaker while on headset then unplug...speaker phone works without headphone....but regular speaker still not working regardless...this has to be a simple fix....anybody?

The latest version....5.5.1....audio works fine on any other rom....but for some reason it's giving me problems...all other audio works besides call....at one point wen I answered a call...it went straight to speakerphone...now I got nothing besides wen headphones plugged in

And I don't mind switching roms...I only chose viperone due to it having beats and HTC camera...if u guys know of another one with beats includedlet me kno....I have slow ass internet so I don't like to download a 1gig file jus to find out it has none of those features

All Sense ROMs have Beats and Sense cam. Try MaximusHD/ARHD/InsertCoin

Ok now here's the deal...I tried all three roms you mentioned...all give me the same problem?....should I not click "att" and click default? (on the aroma installer) since I notice cyangen does not ask for this....cyanogen works fine...or any Rom w.o . Sense....what is going on?...I've tried everything...sheez...this is a mind****!!!
