What`s the phones age? Did you try having it looked at by a specialised service? If you changed all the soft things, i guess the problems must be the hard one (hard issue, radio damaged, speaker damaged...)
Well how can that be? The first call always work like charm, and when I end the call I can even listen to that "toooot" sound... I guess that started when I went to 10.1 on hellybean (jb 4.2.1)
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Aha, it's a bug in the os. 4.2.1 is not yet stable, try flashing a cm10 and a good kernel and it should work like a charm

Went back to gb stock and went all the way up again to jb and its done! :b

Try to reflash the rom and if this doesn't fix the problem it should be a hardware prob

i had similar issue, but mine was that microphone stopped working while talking to people in the middle of conversation. switching to speaker and then back to normal was temporary fix. turns out it was Viber acting something up, when i deleted Viber i haven't had problems anymore
I dont know what viber is, but if it is an app, i dont have it installed

yeah, it's an app. sorry i couldnt be of more help
I also have the same problem before. Other party of the call can't receive my voice suddenly. It will happen so many times during a long call, I need to switch between the speaker phone and back to the normal speaker every time when it happen.
I started to have this problem after I flashed to Leak version of 20A. Then I flash again to official version after it released. No help either. I did also posted a question in here. No one can help too. I then ignores it for a while to see if there is anyone can help. But this error happens too much. I found it is too annoying.
Then I change to CM10.1 and wipe off all the system cache and data etc. Now I got everything works again. I did installed Viber. Maybe you can also try factory reset to see if it helps first. If it still won't work try to change to CM like what I do.
Mike
I get a really quiet call volume for no reason, it rarely happens but its annoying because I work for an agency that calls me to book shifts. I think our cheap hardware is just crap

Hi,
sometimes it works normal, i dont understand it.. I've already factory reseted a few times, so i think this might Not be the problem... Thank you all, maybe this is just our Phone...

Hi guys, same problem for me. I've done many upgrades/downgrades/restart...and the problem persist. Hardware problem??
But in one of those flashing (v20b) the problem disappeared.
I haven't got any guarantee because I bougth the phone in ebay.
Can somebody help?
Could this be the solution?
OK guys: This may or may not help you:
I found that, when I place a call, I do not hear the ringtone, and the first few words of the person that answers.
Momentarily switching the speaker "on" (push "Speaker") , then "off" (push "Speaker" again), seems to solve the problem.
After a lot of testing, and eliminating certain possibilities, I found that this problem in my case is associated with the phone being connected to another device via Bluetooth (in my case my X-Link unit).
When I disable the Bluetooth feature, everything works great.
Perhaps, this is good to know . . . . .
Nope...
Unfortunaly not the solution...
Thank God i dont need to call People often..
Thx for this anyway, maybe it helped others
Still with it
Hi guys, me again. The problem persist, a technical service told me the cost of reparation is about $50. I don't know if its a fear cost. Whta's your opinion?

HI ,
Could you please guide how to Flash the ROM for LG Optimus 4X HD P880
Thanks
Hi,
I have the following problem. During a call the sounds don't come through the "front" speaker but the loudspeaker on the back. When I trun to the loudspeaker mode during thecall, it works fine. The same speaker works but louder. When turning back to normal mode, the back speaker works on but much more silent. I did factory reset many times, also put on an official firmware then a CM7 nighly ROM. Is it a hw problem? Is there any trick I can do home?
Regards,
Vadkörte
Maybe its a hardware problem.
If under warranty, try going to service center or wait until someone comes up with a better idea.
BTW you can try an app named SoundAbout...

Yeah. Flash a stock rom and take it to a service center. It's probably a hardware issue.

Hi !
All my calls defaults to the Galaxy gear spekar. Every time when i make a call or receive a call I had to change from bluetooth to handset.
Is it possible to change this behavior ?
Im using a Galaxy Nexus, with cm10.2 , and the Galaxy Gear is using Null_13
The best would be if the Galaxy Gear only pick up the calls if I Answer the calls on the Gear !

You probably need officially supported phone/rom...
I know on my s4 stock rom, call goes through whatever I answer on - car/glass/watch/phone
My N5 on the other hand seems random

Your phone sees your watch as a Bluetooth headset that's why. The only way other than a s4 or a note 3 would expect the ability to install gear manager on your phone and for every app to work properly.
