I tried to flash Cyanogenmod 11 on my stock Xperia Z running DooMKernel. After a failed install it went to boot loop.
and i tried to factory reset via TWRP now it's stuck at DoomKernel screen at startup.
I've no idea what happened i cant boot to recovery/fastboot/flashboot. Anyway to get out of this?

As much as i don't like reving old threads or hijacking them this one is exactly my fault
I bought a Sony Xperia Z with the Bootloop fault thinking i could cure it by flashing a ftf
Well that didn't work
So then i thought if i could get a recovery on it it would be a start all seemed to go ok
But now ive got the Doomkernel splash screen looping...and none of the buttons seem to have any effect at all so i cant proceed any further

hi.
I'm now stuck at 2.1
I've tried using odin or CWM, but I could NOT get my phone to Froyo.
Flashed using odin or CWM successfully, without any error. But couldn't boot, just stuck at Galaxy S screen.
Flashing back to 2.1 is no problem
How long did you wait on the Galaxy S boot animation?
It will take longer to boot because your phone is rebuilding the dalvic cache..

There wasn't any boot animation. Just a Galaxy S i9000 screen alone.
I left it for more than 5 mins. Still with cold and cheerless screen, nothing changed.
Does it look like this?

I expected to see this screen so much. But what I got was not even close.
which froyo rom are you trying to flash and are you using the international I9000 SGS?
You might have missed some procedures...

I've been flashing my Samsung Vibrant T959 using odin or CWM like thousand times but never seen anything like this.
I have tried JS5, JS7, JP1, JP3 (european)... and some Asian version, but there was no luck
I initially thought there was a problem with odin. But then I flashed back to 2.1 JFD, JM8 , JM9... smoothly. Then got my SGS rooted, CWM flashed, then tried some CWM Froyo and Gingerbread ROM, but all failed to boot .
I almost give up. Is there anybody have any idea?

Hello.I can't write English well so i'm sorry.
My Xperia was official 9.2.A.1.199.
I wanted to get root.
so,I used this page:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2654451
but after writing kernel(elf file)on my lt25i,it couldn't be in CWM mode.
and I wrote Doomkernel and official ftf files.
but MY lt25i's dispray is still blurred and whitish
and i found that My xperia is lt25i but PC connected it as lt25.
What should i do to mydevice?
Was it blurred and white-ish from the beginning? Or did it happen later on?

Try to flash an original .ftf file via flashtool and wipe everything.
wew ,its happen with my xperia V 1 year ago .whitish and blurish like this
I try to flash stock firmware, wipe data n bla bla bla , but still same
I got my phone like that because I try to flashing kernel+recovery many times ( three times maybe , I forgot it )
After that ,I sold my V
pal. i think u've made the wrong choice
did u unlock your bootloader
if not, use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2699117
I think I have the same issue. It is mentioned in this other thread here at the forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707785
This other user is working on a possible fix. Perhaps we should merge the two threads?
I have exactly the same problem!
Followed various instructions for getting root on 4.3. I do not know where did I made mistakes, but the process was not successful. Rooted ROM gave black screen. Then I flashed the default 4.3 and screen turned white like this.
After that I managed to update to AOKP nightly, wiped everything, but screen stayed the same.
I think the problem happens during fastboot mode (when blue LED is lit). Copying various kernels I can make my screen black or return to white like this, but not normal.

Not that I know of... unless some kind Android wizard takes it up to themselves to debug and solve... :crying:
Hey guys!
Im working on this already.
If you know someone with a working XPERIA V / VX / VL / AX, tell them to post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...-xperia-vx-vl-ax-owners-t2828693/post54410892
It would help a lot!
I am trying to install this custom Rom at the moment.
My problem is that the recovery image that I am supposed to use doesn't really work for me. I use AIO Toolkit and root with the recovery image. Than I want to install SuperUser through through the Recovery Mode. But the phone constantly displays the LG Logo. No Bootloop just stuck at the logo. PWR + -Vol doesn't work. It just stays at the Logo. When I use AIO Toolkit and reinstall another recovery image (e.g. ClockworkMod 6.0.1.5). It works fine. But when I install the Rom then it just does nothing. Still 2.3.4 Gingerbread V20Q and not CM10. So it looks like I really need the recovery to get it to work.
Anybody know how to make the recovery image in the thread to work?
I can't post in the thread itself because I don't have 10 posts yet sadly.

/EDIT:
Flashed the official LG Adndorid 4.0.4 V30a and then flashed the CM10. Works now!
Okkaayy guys, so, i'll take you to the end of the whole thing which is, I installed and downgraded 2 versions in stock rom, which was V12.5.1.0 worked like a charm, then I updated the version with Xiaomi's original it's own system updater to newer version and it was still fine then I updated it to Android 12, MIUI 13 and it bootlooped.
So, I wasn't able to get into recovery, trieedd soo many times and neither I was able to get in to fastboot mode. What did I do? Flashed it again with Format All + Download option. I got the bar and everything but I waited a bit and nothing happened. I'm like, is this working? And I did the mistake. I pulled the plug. And here I am. Surely I've 60+ battery. Besides that I charged it for more than 15 minutes. No power button works, no fastboot, no recovery. Nothing "HAPPENS". Literally. No matter what I do, how long I press to any button, device won't turn on in any sort of way. Libusb still detects it as Mediatek driver but I can't use SP Flash Tool because simply device won't turn on. Bypass utility stays like this.

Held power button for 5 min (literally I did) nothing happened
No fastboot or recovery
SP Flash Tool simply can't do the trick because device doesn't turn on
I have 60+ battery %100 surely.
USBLIB still able to detect the port.
What do? Is it even possible to rescue this poor guy? It was my main phone btw...
EDIT - UPDATE: I have no idea how but I was playing around with SP Flash Tool, trying to do some things, nothing was actually happening but like after few minutes phone just gone back into bootloop, It turned on, I genuinely don't know how and just for confirmation, after I installed stock rom back my charge is %73 so surely it wasn't related to my battery. IDK this devices are weird. Sorry for the topic mods..

@Samarimama I have edited your post to point to the article you searched. Please don't post long links.
@bilatche What happens if you hold down the Power button for at least 10 seconds?

absolutely nothing.... I have tried to recharge the phone, but still booting on DL screen....
The only solution I see : go back on last stock firmware via odin.
I will try this week.

If you're unable to reboot the phone, this won't help you. Have you tried holding down the power button until the phone does something?
nothing with long press on power....
here is the screen appearing 1 second at boot before being stuck on DL screen:

I will see if reinstall stock rom fixes the DL issue...
maybe it's an error due that I didn't have flashed vbmeta after twrp ?

You don't have the official firmware, you need to flash the official.
