Hi!
I didn't really care about Google Now as it never supported Hungarian, but now it does. Is there a way to get it working on Mini with any ICS/JB ROM with the voice search? What I found always stopped at initializing voice search.

I can't find it on the Market either. Not on my Galaxy S (with JG5) or even on my Nexus One (though the Nexus One has it built in by default).
I thought Google and Samsung were including this in the Galaxy S by default - even the Google Blog states voice search is built in with the SGS and N1.
I'll try the apk that was posted earlier in the thread.
An alternative is also the free version of vlingo in the Samsung App Market. Same app as the $9.99 Market version, and it includes some nifty features such as reading incoming emails and texts out loud while in the car.

Thanks for posting the link. It works for me as well with JG5 firmware.
I also note that Paul at MoDaCo includes the voice search as an option in his MCR for SGS. You might be able to extract just the apk somehow from that.
Interesting for me that the Google Voice recognition is far INferior to the vlingo voice recognition accuracy. Both pale in comparison to the Nuance Dragon Dictate app on the iPhone.
I am missing my keyboard microphone and the ability to recognize speech. How does one go about adding this? Currently running Gingerbread CM7-Nightly 6 however I've had this problem before so I would like to know how to add it to any ROM that might not have it. Thanks in advance!
Did you install voice search with gapps? If so enable from options.
I installed voice search 2.1 and still no dice. It just FC when I try and open it. Also in options for voice there is only TTS options. Nothing as far as enabling google voice options. Not sure what to do next.

@kikikidi : did you managed to solve this issue ? If yes, how ?
I have the same prob. The voice input works using Google search but never works using the keyboard (the microphone is displayed on screen with "preparing" -if that's the correct translation...
Hi,
Is there any way to get offline voice recognition working on the IncS for Google Now? I've searched around and apparently there's meant to be a download available on the "voice" section of the settings, but it's not there; all I see is Language, Speech output, Block offensive words and Bluetooth headset.
Is there anyway to manually install the offline voice recognition files so I can text, search my music, etc using Google Now Search?
EDIT: Forgot to add I'm running CyanVivo 10.1, rooted
Thanks

I was able to create a simple MIT App Inventor 2 app with the voice recognition. On Amazon Fire 7, it wasn't working in the beginning However, i installed the google app and the voice recognition is now working. What ever i say in Korean, it's able to recognize and display the language. However, if i disable the wifi, only voice recognition working is English. Kinda make sense. Is there a Korean voice pack i can download so that the app would work in Korean without the wifi?
TIA,
Thomas.

Adding additional languages for offline voice recognition is an option within the Google app. However, not all capabilities/settings may be present on the the limited implementation of Google Play Services/Framework that is used with unrooted FireOS. Check on Google app settings to see what's available.
The google app did have the offline voice recognition setting and korean is supported. I've tested out with the app inventor app and it's working great! Thank you!
