Hi, Does anyone know if there is a stable port of Paranoid Android available for the desire c? I can only find betas which were/are possibly discontinued.
If not, how difficult is it to port a rom?

Just look for some roms which have the same resolution of Desire C (if the rom you want to port hasn't the same resolution of Desire C it's more difficult to port)
I was thinking maybe AOSPA from pico....

I'd say start with cyanogenmod. That'll give you the basic idea. Then you can move on to other roms that seem interesting to you.

That depends on how you would describe the word 'stable'. CM10 does have some tiny bugs. So it is not as stable as your stock ROM. But you do get the additional flavor of Jellybean and there are very visible differences in performance that comes with a custom ROM like Cyanogenmod.

Try sensational rom. If you like it, use it. If you dont like it, change.
Nobody can tell tell you what is the best rom. It's all personal preference. Chose one and then decide..
If sensational ROM isn't enough for you. Give miui a shot!

Can you upload the rom ? where didi you get it ?
I think it's cm10 with android 4.2.2 features (it's always android 4.1.2)

its android version is 4.2.2 not 4.1

i was using the same ROM before. its 4.1.2.
about the music enhancements, download this app- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jsf.cmprojects.cyanogenmodappinstaller&hl=en
and install dsp manager using this app. then reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik cache. dsp manager should work then.
