Nevermind...must have been a mistake on Sprint's site. They updated the updates page to show KOT49H and now it shows KOT49E again.
And now it shows KRT49H....
http://support.sprint.com/support/a...AndUpdateTheSoftwareVersionOnYourGoogleNexus5
Hmmm....weird. I'm interested to see if any Sprint folks receive an update. I'm on SlimKat, so I definitely won't be getting any OTA's, lol.
My guess is it includes a new radio.
KRT49H is the 4.4.2 update hitting many n5 today. its mostly a camera improvement update with some other bug fixes. theres a thread in this section about it.

Hi,
Just wanted to ask any users with an HTC One from HK if the 4.3 update has already been released. I bought my phone from there but I use it mainly in the Philippines. Checked today and there's still no update.
Also, if I restore my phone to the stock ROM from a nandroid backup then flash stock recovery, will I still be eligible for the OTA? I'd restore using an RUU but I can't seem to find one for Hong Kong phones. Thanks.
For OTA you need the stock rom and recovery.
Also the bootloader will be locked-relocked
Pretty sure it would be posted on this forum if the update had come out. We usually get it after Europe, so I doubt it. I'm on a custom ROM, so can't help.
Yeah, restoring from nandroid + stock recovery should let you get updates (when they arrive).
Alright thanks man. Are there any additional benefits to upgrading the whole firmware vs just the radio? I'm stuck with S-on.

I live in Hong Kong and my HTC ONE is HK version.
I can confirm you that 4.3 for HK HTC ONE itsn't there yet and no ETA were announced.
However, base on my previous HTC(HK) experiences and speculation.
If US/Taiwan and the rest of the world released the update on Oct, 2013.
HTC(HK) will release the update somewhere between March, 2014 and Oct, 2020.
Yes this is how good and efficient of HTC(HK), Yay baby!
Thanks for the heads - up. Guess I'll make sure my next phone is S-off before anything else

Seriously, using HK HTC handsets is almost like using a carrier branded handset. Usually close to being the last of the unbranded cid's to receive updates.

They also made a post somewhere about it. Skpipping 4.4.4 to bring 5.0 faster.
any HK owner with cid 622 got the 4.4 update?

Mate.. Thats android version is actually right it comes with the phone, later you can update it.
Tell me one thing, when you bought the phone, Did you had KK directly on it?
I am sure it was 4.4.2.
That's the Android version the phone launches with. It would be a nightmare for us to try to keep updated the latest Android version for every device on this forum

I have a Nexus 6 bought directly from Motorola but with a T-mobil sim from my
last phone. I'm running the MRA68K factory image of 6.0., and have never been
offered an OTA update.
Let me tell you what I THINK I know.
Although MRA68K does include the T-mobile band 12 and wifi calling feature,
for some reason T-mobil was not happy with it due to some bug revealed
in testing. MRA68X is the release they are happy with, and is what T-mobil
users running 5.1.1 are getting OTA. This OTA is not usable for phones running
any of the 6.0 release. There currently is no factory image for MRA68X.
Here is what I don't know:
- Will MRA68X be eventually released as a factory image.? Usually that comes
before not after the OTA. If not it would seem the need to flash a 5.1.1 image
to be able to take the MRA68X OTA.
- Is the T-mobil specific release a one time thing, or will there be a sequence of
T-mobil specific releases as in 5.X?
- I presume that when the phone checks for an update it bases it on the carrier's
SIM. Just curious, is it Google downloading the update but subject to the carrier's
instructions?

I have run all the MRA builds (K, N, R) on T-Mobile and they all support and have fully functioning WiFi calling, Band 12 support, and VoLTE. Not sure what's specific about X but I decided to switch to it just because it's "official".

For X I flashed the factory ProFi 5.1.1 then sideloaded the 48I to 58X OTA.
T-Mobile and ProFi will both use X.

According to the T-mobile document

It's only the L* releases that can be updated with the OTA.

I don't see where it says *only* L releases get the update but it may just be a matter of semantics.
"To be able to update to the current software version, the below requirements must be met:"
^^^ I take this to mean that you must have at least L to get the update. If you are on M already then you still meet that requirement. That's just my thoughts though. Dez is always in the know and that's what he said. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I noticed that your signature says "Nexus 6 rooted". If that is in fact the case, you will not be able to install any OTA. Neither via sideloading nor "over the air". The installer looks at the system file, and if there is ANY change from stock (including being rooted), it will abort the install. I've had it fail, even with a couple of apps frozen.
It looks like the document
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-18109
has been updated. It now list MRA68K as eligible for the OTA to MRA68X. Earlier
it just listed the L* releases.

TMO's update site is questionable in and of itself.
What's wrong with Sprint, why didn't they release the new update? The unlocked device was updated almost a month ago, which means the software was sent to Sprint! How can we figure out when will Stupid Sprint release that?
The carrier devices are always 2-3 months (if I remember correctly) after the unlocked devices.
That much?
As per the tweet by Mo Versi (VP of HTC) we should be receiving on Jan 4th. Most of the time, things got delivered on the date he announced. Hoping for Jan 4.
That's a negative

Well I don't like sprint rom with horrible black dial pad and bloatware. Who would want sprint mm? Why not custom rom dev edition based?
yeah, that was an update to prepare for MM upgrade. But I can't see what's the numbers of the update, where can I find it anywhere? The real ROM didn't come yet.

Just saw it, and was about to post,
Unfortunately the RUU downloaded from HTC website won't work with my factory locked original phone, what the f.
After reading the webpage carefully, using the RUU from there to program will erase all the data on the phone, so I don't know if that's what I want. I'm just becoming too lazy to deal with all of these

No, we need to wait for the U1 update to be released witch has typically been the last to be released. I believe these are the U versions being referred to here. Also everything new on Sammobile is the U so far. It shouldn't much longer for us.
