i tried creating this mod for the xperia z http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1235212 but the config_autoBrightnessLcdBacklightValues is empty? any ideas how i can make it lower?

The system sound volume is very low.
For example Touch sounds, screen lock sound, stock keyboard sound.
I changed the volume in the settings, but without success.
Could somebody confirm that?

System touch sounds are also low here. On Xperia T (LT30a) .295 4.3 (Dark-L0rd's rooted/dodexed stock rom)
It is not a bug, it's an android feature. And I am happy that we have it.
There are 2 booleans in framework, lowering lock and touch sounds by -6dB.

If this would be a feature, you would have a chance to set the system volume you want.
For me it's a bug.
Yup, just compared 4.1 and 4.3 and there is a hige difference in sound quality. I can barely hear my phone when i have a message.

I'm not sure if this is just me but I've tried to use my keypad tones and touch tones recently and the sound is very low even if its already on volume full.. Is there anyway to tweak to make it louder?
would there be an xposed frameworks for fix this?
Is this also considered as a bug?

I used to run CyanogenMod 10.2 on my Ascend Y300. I recently bought an Xperia Z3 Compact. Would rooting it be enough, or would I need to install a custom rom to do the following:
-Reduce grid size of quick settings menu to 3 tiles wide, not 4
-CM volume options: ringer volume by default, but with pop-down button for media & alarm volumes
-Swap Sony's keyboard with CM stock keyboard - to reduce latency for long presses & the size of the keyboard.
-Map touch zones to my gamepad (Phonejoy - games support is rubbish)
Also, is there a way to unlock the bootloader & root the phone without losing all my installed apps/settings (I am aware of losing DRM keys/camera performance and don't mind that)?
