Prometheus Custom Rom Pre-release
I want to share my new project called Prometheus Rom with you We are all waiting for an ICS bootloader for the european G version of our device so that we have CM9 and I can start porting MIUI. It´s not a real Custom Rom yet, because I need YOU to suggest me some features I should include/port/create whatever. Please post your suggestions here and I will add them to my todo list if they are possible. AND THIS IS NOT MIUI! MY FIRST REAL MIUI WILL BE BASED ON ICS
I used some parts from GalaxyRom to get 14 Toogle mod flashlight working, credits to kishen80!​

FAQ:
What to do on first boot / how to get MIUI Lockscreens?
You will see something like this after the installation of this rom when you boot for the first time. Be sure you click on "Set as default" and then touch on "MILocker".
After you did this open the app MILocker by tapping on the icon within your launcher. You can now choose your favorite lockscreen (don´t be confused by the chinese names, most of the lockscreens themselfe are in english
Whats this notification in the notification bar?
On your first boot you will see a notification like this that reads please enable or disable anonymus user stats. Please click on it you will be redirectet to the app
Please enable the stats by enabling main-optin. This app is still in BETA stage and created by out Team blockbuster. We are building a statistic system that provides us many information to make our roms even better. Have a look at our current (till now very small statistics) at http://www.team-blockbuster.com/stats/viewstats.php

Download the following zip archive, put it to your sd card. Then unzip it (so that you have /sdcard/MIUI/theme on your sdcard) and choose between the lockscreens in MiLocker. Enjoy

2.Will flashlight toggle work or not because in most customs roms flashlight toggle doesnt work.
3.will this support arabic/farsi/urdu?
4.when you said removed useless apps does that mean you removed samsung apps?

1) Backlight Notification Mod.. your buttonlight will be like a notification light (ask google for more information). Recuires a kernel that supports it and I'm working on one
2) Youre right not working I will fix this

Beats audio and xloud do not go along with eachother. Use them separately please......
Use them tother and ur speaker might be damaged. Better port beats. Not xloud...

One Question: former Aroma Installer deleted also Synchronisation function of my phone Does your Rom still include sync app ?? because my contacts are always on google.
Oh and one idea/suggestion. Are agressivex and abyssplug governors included?

@op Please add this line to your build.prop to have the theme loaded upon boot so users do not have to manually do it.
In my Rom i add this to build.prop
persist.sys.themePackageName=com.thomassafca.theme.touchwiz
com.thomassafca.theme.touchwiz is the name of my theme so replace that with the name of your theme and try it out

I think, being on 4.1.2, you MAY use cm10 kernel...
Try this at your own risk, i am not responsible for anything you do to your device...
If you get stuck in a bootloop, then restore nandroid backup or flash stock rom...
Also, if you get it working, please reupload

i got it booting by cm10 prometheus kernel v2 ..
wifi doesnt work and got cm10 theme and have to reboot for wifi connection

i wanna get any one camera app out how do i do it??
one more edit no bootloop neeed wifi keep alive and is not usable for daily use

best rom just few bugs
Sim doesnt read . Not importing contacts. Media doesn't stream but works in mono mode as hands free .GPS works well pictures camera and video capture works surprisingly well. Boot animation doesn't match desire c name . I Have replaced with CM10 zip. Easy, find boot.zip and replace with another. Wifi works just same procedure,switch on, enter password and then reboot. After reboot wifi logs in automatically. Used N.O.P.E. Kernel Version 2.6. 900 Mhz.

Been using this ROM and pie/lmt fc and rhw battery charged really quickly but is draining quite fast and also I ported extreme bean but it reboots a split second after lock screen then boot animation appears again then local screen again etc

first THANKS for this awesome rom
second to fix the lmt just replace it in system/app with lmt1.99 cuz lmt 1.912 doesn;t work
third i found some bugs the superuser on my phone doesn't appear to work i had to reroot it and after restart the system ui loads very slow revolution updates in setings doesn't work because is an unsuported rom or somethig like thatand i guess thats all
i really like the crt animation and the that is no error because of it and THANKS again

another thing is when i flash a custom lockscreen mod it gets well weird i suppose

You have to install the old superuser in order to download the binaries.

No, the LMT works, but you need an extra file inside /system/lib
If your device is armv7 so open LMT.apk and go to /lib/armeabi-v7a and copy libTouchServiceNative.so to /system/lib of your rom
If your device is armv6 so open LMT.apk and go to /lib/armeabi and copy libTouchServiceNative.so to /system/lib of your rom

How To Flash/Install:
Do a FULL WIPE first. Full Wipe means format /system, /data, /cache.
Now flash ROM and then GAPPS through recovery.
After flashing, do NOT reboot phone. Instead POWER OFF the device and boot to bootloader.
Extract the boot.img from rom and flash it using fastboot flash boot boot.img command.
Reboot.

Thats not how it works.. For porting we need a 4.2 Base Rom. It has to be compiled from source..

Gr8 work dude tired if using honamiz v2.7 just it needs some work but i a. Too lazy to complete it XD .Gonna switch to this for some time its looking awesome

Okay I UnderStood, How to Flash This ? Simple Follow on ..
1.Download The Rom
2.Place the rom on your sdcard or where ever
3.Reboot to recovery
4.Make A wipe data factory reset or if in philz make clean install
note if you did wipe data/factory rest please go to mounts and storage and wipe /system
5.Go to advanced and make a wipe dalvik cache
6.Now install the rom
7.Flash fix from here
7.Reboot to rom
8.let your tab settle for a couple of minutes
9.Simply reboot back to recovery and wipe dalvik cache
10.Your done
11.Enjoy the smoothest thing on earth FD

Put bootanimation.zip in data/local if you don't have these folders in your rom create them!
For wifi i don't know can't take a logcat

Don't even try to flash this on your T211 it will not work!!!

Everything sounded pretty convincing ... but wifi is broken lol !
I'll be flashing when the wifi issue is fixed

Same here wifi doesnt turn on. The rom is amazing. Will flash again when wifi is fixed.
