[Q] IOS Rom

Hello all ! I saw in this thread, searching for my father and some of his collegues and found that : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1284772
They have LG Optimus Black too and they would like this for their phone. I was wondering if it may be possible.

Tried to download EspierLauncher from market. Closest thing to IOS. Combine 2 icons to make a folder. Seems neat and fluid.

Yes I know but they talk about an "ios" rom that was ported to an htc and samsung ace.

This rom is based on MIUI rom right? Once our phone gets MIUI it should be not too hard too modify it.. i think

I'm not sure about if it is based on MIUI. ^^

No thats a normal ROM, only the apps where modiefied to look like ios apps

Its a complete ROM, not a MIUI theme. You can see something like it in the GooApple phone, a cheap Android Iphone4 replica, which mimics it really fine!

As I could heard here in XDA, there were some people trying to port it, but now it seems to be impossible. A lot of apps are incluided in the framework of the phone and only work with this GooApple.
We should wait if they can port it.
This device seems to be fine, but for its price and qualities (that are near more or less an Iphone 3G), I'd buy an used Iphone and you will have a "full Iphone port... in a Iphone"

Has anyone seen if LG has made plans to update the 4x hd to JB? I plan on buying one if y'all think it will be updated. It flies on the nexus so I can't imagine how much better it would be on the 4x hd. Sorry should have been in q&a.

LG's previous flagship, the Nitro HD is getting ICS on the 31st. I think this is a good indication that LG will provide more support for their flagships moving forward.

I never used an lg phone ... I'm waiting to see how optimus g comes up.
But then i saw this forum and totally empty development section.
Why no one develops for this phone?
Having an active xda forum is very important for me. You can't rely on manufacturers official updates...

Spec is pretty nice (of course not the top) but im wondering what a price would be for this.

You really think they'll update ours? Would be great if we see 4.2 directly, but I doubt we will.

LG is finally heading in the right direction in the smartphone world. With its build quality, LG should be atop of the Smartphone war pretty soon.
Kudos to you LG.
