[Q] camera failed after "Phone to CAM FW write"

Hi
i pressed *#7412365#( Phone to CAM FW write) , now it wrote " camera failed". what can be done with it?

Answer will be the same like on 4pda.ru
You have two choices: to change camera module or to flash proper camera firmware in service.

и тут ты подумал может тут кто-то пытался разными прошивками или ещё какие рецепты попробовать... где-то здесь встретил, похожая ситуация, прошивка на jpm помогла. jpm качается, а так уже штук 6 разных лил, бестолку.

I remember the same happened to a Guy on the i7500, he had to bring his phone to Samsung service for repair since the camera firmware can not be extracted from phone.

Yeah, Yeah. I've got the same problem. My camera failes after i installed Goggless and Barcode scaner. Not any reflash halped, so i send smart back to seller. But i've contacted to Samsung service in Ukraine, thay said thay can try to reflash camera drievrs but dont give guaranty if that will be success.

TOSS it, NO DEV here.

camera firtmware files are stocked in \system\firmware on phone.
i have 4 files in it
ce147f00.bin
ce147f01.bin
ce147f02.bin
ce14703.bin
try to copy new files from other rom or fresh rom in it and reflash firmware in service

may be firmware.zip it contains hboot , radio and most important boot.img

whats your hboot . do you know any news if its working on hboot 6.13.1002?

Z4v E6508 need help making custom ROM/flashing Z3+/Z4 FTF

Hello guys, I just got myself a Z4v phone and it is quite similar to Z3+ and Z4 save for the 2K screen. I also installed the stock camera 2.0 update for Z5 without any issue.
Can I get some advice/help on debloating the ROM and/or flashing FTF means for Z3+/Z4?
This phone is quite a decent piece of hardware and I'm hoping to utilize it as best I could

It's a port from Chinese beta. Hence no Russian. If I get hands over global ROM, then I'll port it with all languages

Hi Guys,
I badly need your help with my POCO M3 Pro 5G. I tried to flash a Europian stock Rom for my phone. The flash was successful until it showed DM VERITY CORRUPTION and when I press the power button, it is only stuck in the bootlogo. I ran out of solution on how to get this resolved. Can someone help me out on how to get this fixed? The only way for me to connect to phone is only with fastboot mode.
I really would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

I almost had it permanently bricked. Dang it! I tried the clear and lock option and got my phone locked again(stupid move). Good thing I can still flash via sideload. Thank you so much sir for the help!

It did not, Sir. After it says, "Success" and when the phone reboots with the dm verity corruption. It only stays in the bootlogo

Phone codename is camellia,right?
But which version? Global,EEA,CN etc.....
You had to flash the rom which corresponds to the version of the phone and relock, (maybe what you did).

Yes, it is camella. The original version is with Global. I got it working with global

is NOT bootloop, press POWER button when you see that message and it boots !
also.. read the post of " ROOT GAINED " you need to flash VmBETA.img
8 - fastboot commands:
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
P.S. the same happened to me when i first installed another rom.. DM verity corruption .. so just press power button.. if doesn't work press it again and again .. trust me is NOT in bootloop !
