Lately i'm experiencing dynamic buzzing. Could you recommend how to fix this issue?
I'm on bad boyz sense 6 4.4.2 version. Elementax 13.7 kernel.
What is dynamic buzzing anyways?

You mean the sound is distorted right? does it happen in other roms? and are both of your speakers buzzing?
My advice: try other roms to see if it still there. If yes, it could be a hardware problem.
---------- Post added at 07:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:25 PM ----------
For myself, my top speaker sound is distorded because I dropped the phone. But replacing it means taking the phone apart and trust me, its a pain in the arse.
Unless you get it done by a pro.

They shouldn't be distorted to much unless your using a soundmod such as intense blast that increases the sound output on the speakers. They say on stock there's minimal distortion but I've never heard it.

Thanks for your replies
By flashing this you'll get the ringtone/notifications coming from both speakers when somebody calls you, stereo speakers in-call if you switch to the loudspeaker and you will also get a slight headphones boost.
Let me know if you want to modify something else with the sound output on the Z2.
As always - proceed at your own risk.
This will boost EVERY OUTPUT on your Z2! Stereo speakers everywhere! 1.5 for .167 ONLY
Old stuff down there.
Download
Rebased on .167 fw files + boosted noise cancellation headphones in this version! Headphones boost might also boost in-call speaker a bit, no guarantees! Backup works now! xD

Z2 soundmod 1.4 backup restore

I forgot to mention - this mod works the same way as my Z1 mod - no quality loss whatsoever.
To come:
Speaker boost
Bluetooth boost
What else should I do? Let me know!
I forgot to mention about @DennisDD78 - He's the man that send me the files I needed. This thread wouldn't be here if he wouldn't do that! Thanks man!
Thanks @gork1975 for updated .438 files!
Thanks to @Monipeev for the latest .314 file!
Thanks to @adamdvd for .167 file!
You can find this mod here:

Now this is a mod we all need.
Wondering if both speakers are utilized while talking over the speakerphone? Currently it uses a single speaker.
Stupid question, do i have to be rooted to use this mod?

Nicely done man! Really appreciating it. Any chance that you could increase the general speaker output volume / quality?
Does this mod works with speaker boost mod provided in RomAur 2.1 rom?

You mean if you turn on the loudspeaker during a call? It shouldn't be hard. Which speaker is playing now if you're on loudspeaker during a call? Top or bottom?

Great!!
Could you share the mod without headphone boost? For us user of Doomkernel, we can already do this at a kernel level (but not yet speaker boost).
Thanks in advance.

I have a bit of an odd situation with my Honor 4x...
When i play audio using any kind of music/audio playback software (spotify, google music, chrome in-browser playback, etc) the audio quality feels very watered down. Specifically, there is a significant reduction in audio volume (like an EQ or some kind of high-cut filter) around 4kHz and above.
However, when I minimize my audio app while playing music then open Google Driving (or google maps then set a destination) the audio quality dramatically increases! if i stop navigation it becomes pathetic again.
I have tried tinkering with the (very limited) audio settings of my phone with no change.
I have tried rooting the phone and installing an after market audio driver (Viper4audio) with no change.
Can anyone help?
Huawei Honor 4x
Build: Che2-L12C636B320
Android 5.1.1
EMUI 3.1
An image reflecting the content difference of the audio signals with and without google Driving overriding the quality control is available upon request (cant post external links due to being a new member)
or by going to imgur and putting extension /xoegk1C at the end of the URL
I've been trying to improve this issue for years. I came to the conclusion that what happens actually is that the phone has a terrible audio quality that gets improved by the google equalization improvement effect.
Try some equaliser apps, poweramp music player does the job
stand alone music players with built in EQ won't achieve what i am trying to here, as they only apply their EQ to the music being played through their app. If i want to stream music through spotify it will not reach 3rd party software EQ.
I have tried the built-in EQ for spotify, but it only has preset and none of them counteract the EQ curve being applied by the phone
Additionally, this is for the purpose of improving sound quality. If the phone is applying subtractive EQ at one stage of virtual signal flow, then having additive EQ applied at another stage it will not achieve the same outcome as no EQ being applied at all, or sound even worse.

Proper etiquette aside (hint: don't use speakerphone while doing your "business" in a public bathroom), rate this thread to express how you think the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's speakerphone performs. A higher rating indicates that you love it: it's loud and it's clear.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Speaker loud but poor quality, xiaomi never care with audio quality since Mi4 generation
sound quality
well in xiaomi sound was good not quality was bad
---------- Post added at 12:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:58 AM ----------
actually when i m try to play some heavy metal music then i heard some scratchy sound.
---------- Post added at 01:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:26 PM ----------
speaker was not clear
The speakers sure get loud but clarity drops significantly. The bass are not that great either. I can't complain though, I never use the speakers at full volume since I always use headphones and when I'm out I use a bluetooth speaker if I want to "share" my music with others.
